Boots seem very well made was only able to wear once because the size is smaller than my old timberlands. Would buy again just in the next size up. Timberland pro is always my go to work boot because they last

Been looking for a solid pair of working boots for the New England winters and these have been exactly what I've been looking for. These boots and a pair of thick socks keep my feet warm and dry all day long. Highly recommended.

Im a carpenter. I have been using 8" Timberland Boots for a long time. Absolute pleasure when I slip them on my feet. No comparison to any other work boots out there. I highly recommend them. Timberland has a great site to choose from for other shoes also.

Fit was great. I normally wear a 10.5, but I was alway told to size up in work boots and always got for the wide. Can’t go wrong with this one.

I usually wear women's hiking boots size 9 to accommodate my full foot prescription orthotics. This is the first time I bought men's size shoes and I sized down 1.5 size according to the internet recommendation. The boots fit my feet with my orthotics in them perfectly with some toe room. I bought several pairs of boots at the same time, all from Zappos, to try and compare for the best fit and comfort. (Thank you, Zappos for being so fabulously great and making buying the right pair of shoes so effortless.) I am walking a construction site a lot these days. It is on a slope and a slippery rocky terrain; I am also very klutzy and have fragile bones; so I need good protection for my toes and ankles. These Timberlands are the best, most stable, and most comfortable. The 8" height is a big difference in stability on a slope and hillside, comparing to the 6". The leather is sturdy, but quite soft and flexible so I have a good range of movement. No unnecessary padding on the boots, therefore I think they will be more comfortable in warm climates that I am in. The steel toes are not restrictive (unless you buy a size too small/make sure to have some toe room). Do you want to know other brands I bought and reasons why I return them and keep this pair of Timberlands? -Timberland Sawhorse 6" Composite Safety Toe. Slightly lighter in weight but the 8" height feels a lot more stable. Returned. -Carhartt 6" Rugged Flex Comp Toe Work Boot. Size 9 is too big for me and size 8.5 is perfect. Very nice boots, sturdy, comfortably padded. But look too clunky for my taste comparing to Timberlands. If I hadn't found Timberland, I would have purchased this pair. Returned. -Altama Raptor 8" Safety Toe. Size 9 was a tad too big for me. I have boney and skinny feet and there are too much room left in the boots. This pair is the lightest in weight of all. Perhaps because there is no leather. They are a bit too light for my preference. The lace system is too cumbersome for me to put on and take off the boots. The boots in my hands are aesthetically boring comparing to the others. Returned.
I'd also recommend:
Zamberlan, Chaco, Arc'teryx
