Comfort and clean style. Footwear should fit the occasion. You would not wear these for jungle survival, or as work boots on tug boat. If you are looking for a very comfortable and classy boot that you can wear with Business Casual or with a suit - much less good blue jeans and a clean shirt, these should do the trick.

The boots are excellent and the service received from Zappos was super. They accepted a return without question and allowed me to compare two sizes before sending one of them back.

This is a very comfortable boot. It looks and feels great. The soft leather upper breaks in easily and is comfortable from day one. The outsole and 2 inch heel are made of stacked leather rather than rubber, which I really love. This is traditional cowboy boot construction. I tried on a lot of other brands of boots in Western stores (and I own an old pair of Dan Post boots which never have fit very well), but none felt as good as these. Tony Lama came close--also a pretty good boot (and some, but not all, Tony Lamas are made in the USA). Most of the others, like Justin, Dan Post, and Dingo seemed to be inferior in quality and comfort and were almost all made outside of the USA. Even Frye is a "sell out" company, making most of their boots outside of the USA. Lucchese does it right--good quality and made in Texas. We should all support companies like this one as much as possible. My next pair of Lucchese boots will be from the Classic Collection--a higher end line that Zappos does not carry. Finally, styling is great- not too cowboy, but not too modern. Great for casual or more formal occasions.

No break in time, fit perfectly from day one. Have worn these for five years and they really still look like new. Usually I wear them with jeans, but recently wore them with a grey suit...no problem.

Without a doubt, one of the most comfortable pairs of boots I have ever owned. I would buy more if they had any other colors!

The first pair I bought was 1/2 size too large. I returned it and got the right size. Zappos is very easy to do business with and I'm very pleased with the boots.

Lucchese makes a great boot. Zappos did a great job of getting it to me. The boots fit well and were very comfortable from the first day. Beautiful leather, great fit, I like them. And, they upgraded my shipping to one day at no charge. Imagine my surprise when I expected to get them Monday or Tuesday and they arrived the next day! Thank you Zappos, you rock!

I bought these for my husband. The minute he saw them he fell in love and then he put them on and they were exactly what he wanted and felt exactly the way he wanted them to feel.

This is a great pair of boots and Zappos is a great company. I sat on my couch at 10:00 on a Wednesday night and ordered these boots, my shipping got upgraded for free and my new boots were on my porch at 11:46 the next morning. This is about the 15th pair I've ordered from these guys and I have never had a bad experience. Thanks Zappos.

A Great Boot! I have always had trouble finding boots that fit as I have a "high" instep. That wasn't a problem with this boot style. I can easily get them on and off. They are very comfortable, I'd recommend them to anyone! Judging from the quality built into these boots, I expect them to last years.

Great Boots - This is the best pair of boots I've ever owned! I don't wear anything else, since I got them! The craftsmanship is evident in every phase of the product and the leather is the finest. When combined with the great price from Zappos, it's one of the best buys I've ever made.

Great Boots - Soft leather uppers feel good at the get go. The soles are a bit thinner than other boots I have. While the width feels good, the last is a bit more narrow than other boots. I like 'em.

Great Boots - I had a pair of Nacona boots for about 8 years. They are gone now and these Lucchese are just as nice if not better. Zappos took care of me 1oo% percent.

HAPPY1 - I bought these boots as a retirement present for a friend. They were wonderful. Made me proud they were made in the good old USA! I held my breath because I had to order a size 14. They were wonderful. The front is roomy and were not hard to break in. You can dress up or down with them. Buy these!

Great experience - Typically I wouldn't take the time to give input in a 'review' way by email or otherwise. In this case with my boot purchase I have to say, "What a great experience." I bought these same boots years ago on a business trip. Absolutely loved the boots. One of my kids loaned the boots to a friend and I never saw them again. Have been looking for these boots for awhile. A friend suggested zappos.com... and here we are. From the ordering, updates during shipping from Zappos by email, and the receiving of my order the experience was way above average. And the boots are great!!!

Fits like a glove, feels like butter! Bought the boots for my husband. He raves that they were comfortable the minute he put them on and they needed no "breaking in". Fabulous boot but Lucchese has always made a quality, good looking product. The Wellington is no exception!

Lucchese T0082 Wellington - I have owned many pair of western boots in my life, and currently own 4 pair of Lucchese boots. Lucchese boots out perform all other boots by far. The nearest competitor is Nacona for comfort and looks. Now it's Lucchese every time.

Good looking and comfortable - Good fit, soft leather, very comfortable- I can wear them all day and they still feel great! I forgot I had boots on! Easy to get on and off-what else is there?

Great boots - Not only are they great, they are beautiful and comfortable.

TC - Been wearing all kinds of shoes and boots for over 35 years in the industrial construction buisness (dancing, walking, hiking, working,etc). I've never put on a more comfortable pair of foot wear. Lucchese has got something no other shoe/boot manufacturer has. Hope they never lose it.

The boots are awesome- I put them on and they felt like they were custom made for me.
