Great boots - I love these boots the minute I opened the box. Not only do they look great, but they feel fantastic on, cradling my feet. And thanks to Zappos' consistent excellent customer service.

Lucchese 1883 Roughout - This is my favorite of my Lucchese boots because of the comfort and beauty of the suede. Just a note about fit, in comparison to other cowboy boots. All of my Lucchese boots have a narrower foot profile than my Tony Lama boots, so folks with wider feet may want to play with sizing to get that perfect fit. Once you find it, you'll love living in these.

Lucchese suede cowboy boot - Beautifully made boot. True to size, but runs a bit narrow. I was very impressed with the selection offered, the ease of ordering, as well as the quick delivery.

They'll shape to your feet - OK I can honestly say I get Lucchese now- I actually get it. After searching high and low for a great vintage looking buckskin boot that didn’t look fake or trying too hard, I came across this Lucchese on Zappos. I thought, what’s with the weird squashed instep and tiny ankle? But now I see… These are real authentic boots. I decided to order several pairs of the same type/style of cowboy boot from Zappos to get a comparison and the Lucchese just won hands down…ah the smell of them! The fit! (I ordered a half size larger then normal and returned them for my true size.) These will mold and shape to your foot after a few wearings. Compared to Dingo or Justin- the price is worth it. They are about the most comfortable pair of cowhand boots I have ever worn. They are perfect for jeans (the tiny ankle circumference) and the boot just feels great. My pair had mismatched suede nap (one up one down) but what the heck they are cool. I returned the Durango, Justin and Dingos. The Lucchese are Beautiful and authentic. I don’t feel silly wearing them, I feel empowered. I love them!

Fab books - There's a nice Texan Magic to the Lucchese boots: their architecture works to give you a transforming -- low-slung, kick-backed -- posture. Lovely, comfortable, good looking -- what more could you want in a cowboy boot.

Real western - Great everyday boots that are so comfortable and look best with jeans. Makes jeans look better! Not only is the suede great, but quite resilient too. The heel and toe are just perfect - the boots encompass true "cowboy" style.

After trying to try these on I double checked the box, they just had to be the wrong size. I have a high instep and knew it would not be easy getting them on, but once I wiggled in to them, they were so narrow. Too bad.

The appearance is great. The quality seems to be the best, but I have a very high instep and to get your boot on I have to buy 1/2 size larger than I wear. This makes the the foot loose and also it rubs the outside ankle bone when I walk.

Runs small. I ordered my usual size but could not get my feet into these boots very easily, especially with a sock. I would not recommend them if your feet are at all on the wide side (buy Tony Lama's instead). I had to return them.

"Dang" -- had to return 'm - Unfortunately, these didn't fit as well as I'd hoped so they had to go back. It is a beautifully crafted, authentic western boot as you'd expect from Lucchese but aside from fit, was a little disappointed in the quality of leather. Lucchese is known for their extraordinary leathers, and this was labeled as a rough-out nubuck, it's really just a heavy suede. Since I ordered these to replace a returned pair of Steve Madden Lonestars that didn't fit either, I realized I need to shop western boots in the stores. I had previously owned several pairs of Dan Post, Frye and Cool West boots with no problem with fit, but my feet have changed over the years.

lucchese boots - Love the boots, but they are starting to make a little noise like a squeek.

Great boot - Great service! I ordered this boot in an 8 1/2, but sent it back for an 8. These are beautiful boots. They may feel a little snug at first, but the soft suede is very forgiving and these boots mold to your foot. They are very comfortable and have gotten a lot of compliments. On another note, Zappos has great service. I received both pairs of boots within two days of ordering them (at no extra charge) and the credit for the returned pair showed up within ten days on my charge card. This has been a wonderful experience!

This boot gets lots of comments - You don't see many "buckskin" like cowboy boots so, people often comment on that. Overall, a handsome boot that goes with levi's or skirts.
