These boots are amazing. Plenty of room in the toebox and I do not have narrow feet. Color is same as picture. If vintage is your thing, then you will love these.

I'm really particular about my shoes. These boots were exactly what I had in mind, and fortunately not terribly overpriced for its quality and clean aesthetic. They took a few days to break in (fortunately I work in an OR where gauze and tape was plentiful during this break-in period) but once broken in, they are supremely comfortable.

I loved this boot the minute I put it on and it looks great both with jeans and denim skirts. The toe is rounded which makes it great for walking and with the crepe sole I feel like I'm floating. The color is terrific and I know I'm going to wear these shoes all the time. Looks great and it is really comfortable. A wonderful addition to my shoe collection.

I love Zappos and my new Clarks Desert Boots. They fit true to size and feel just like they did when I wore them in High School.

I love these shoes! They are hard to find in the lighter color, but I am glad I checked Zappos. The footbed is very flat, and if you are used to Clarks Unstructured or even Privos, then you may want to use some sort of insert. I did, and now they are very comfortable. The suede broke in very quickly (after 1 wearing, and no blisters). Great style, great shoe!

I've never had a pair of Desert Boots, but I've seen them in a lot of women's catalogs lately. My boyfriend got a pair of Clarks Desert Boots last year and I was considering buying a pair of men's boots for myself. When I found out they came in women's sizes I bought them immediately. They are made of super supple suede, and the heel is unbelievably soft. I hardly make a noise when walking across my hardwood floors. Only complaint is that they are a little narrow in the toe box, but I'm hoping they'll stretch out. I'm usually a 7.5, sometimes an 8. I ordered 7.5 and the length is just fine.

Super cute shoes. Very stylish. I'm going to pair these up with a mini jean skirt. My mom said she will rock them with some nice skinny jeans. I love them. They are very close fitting but I have a lot of room length wise. I think the leather will stretch anyway.

I started to love these boots in November, but the colors for women where blah. Finally when I decided to get them, they were sold out everywhere! I was so desperate for them; I was even considering buying a men's pair. Now Clarks has realized women want the traditional Desert Boot too! This color is the "original," and looks fantastic on. They are on the casual side, but I still wear them to work occasionally with the right skirt or dress. The fit is tight, but not uncomfortably so. I would definitely recommend them!

This boot is a flash back from childhood. More comfortable than I remember. Style and comfort all in one great boot. Size seems to run a bit small, order next size up. I wear a size 7.5 and ordered a 8 and it just fits a little tight at the widest part of foot, could hardly get my foot in but stretched out after a couple of days of wearing now they fit great. Very light weight and durable! LOVE THIS DESERT BOOT!

Clarks Desert Boot - Shoes arrived within days of placing my order and felt comfortable from the first moment I put them on. Only complaint was that the tan color was out of stock and I received black even though I ordered green.

I love the style of this shoe, but it's definitely not comfortable to walk around in all day! There's no arch support, and there's not enough room in the toes height-wise to add an insert to make walking more comfortable. It is good quality leather and sole though.

I ordered the Ivory color because it was on sale. Pretty shoe, but am sending it back to exchange for a different color. I can't find anything to wear with them. And they are made in Vietnam, which surprised me. I thought they were made in England.

Took about four uncomfortable days to break in, now a very comfortable shoe. Wouldn't wear without insoles though as there is no arch support.

These are awesome! True to size, too! I ordered the dark tan ones and right now they're my favorite (I have 4 pairs of different colors). Desert boots are my go to shoes, they go great with everything.

This is my second pair of Clarks Desert boots. Classic shoe, I love them. The first pair were well worn, lasting 4 years. They were not lined as they are now. First pair was a 7 1/2 medium (my usual size) so that's what I ordered this time. My foot is a skinny medium. The 7 1/2's were too snug so I returned them and ordered a size 8 medium. They fit great. I wore them yesterday for the first time, for the whole day. Very comfortable!

Boots are very tight in toe box (I have a tall instep). I sent them back for a half size larger and they stretched out nicely, but are a tad bit too big for me now. Get lots of compliments on them though. In fact, they inspired two of my friends to buy similar chukkas. My main complaint, and one no one seems to mention, is the static shock you get from the gum soles. Holy cow! My entire winter is spent in woeful anticipation of my next shock. Still, I love these.

Very comfortable and warm, as I wore for a trip to Chicago this week. I got a 9.5w. I wear a nine to ten, ten in heels and have wide feet, but I probably could have done with 9. However, they do scuff easily, which I think adds to the look. Color is kind of uneven, looking at photo now I can see it but again I like it and think it adds to the vintage feel.

I've had chukka boots before and found them very soft and supple, but for some reason the Clarks Desert Boot in navy suede was not supple like my previous pair. The leather material was very hard and difficult to walk in. I tried ordering a size up, because it felt a bit small at first (especially around the instep, which is weird because I've always had vary narrow feet with a low instep), but ordering a size up did not fix the problem. I will try ordering in a different color to see if that fixes the problem.

Ouch!! Not only were the boots tight, they were too short. I always wear an 8.5 and never have to return shoes based on size. I am ordering a 9 and keeping my fingers crossed that the 9 fits as they are super cute.

These are narrow and tight. I bought these for my 11 yo son to try. He is a Big Kids 6.5-7, a very hard size to find. Mens shoes are too wide and fall off his feet. I put him in his sister's oxfords to check the size and ordered. They were so tight at the entrance to the front half, he couldn't get his skinny long feet in. My daughter tried them and she couldn't get her feet in them. I don't know what Clarks is thinking with this design

They look more comfortable than they are. A bit narrow on the front, they pull your socks in over the heal, and if you are a bit clumsy like me you will be tripping over carpeted surfaces.
