Initially loved these slippers, but after a week, the fur on the heel began wearing off. I’ve had them about a month and the heels have no fur left. Super disappointed with the quality of a spendy slipper. Plus, the sole doesn’t feel as sturdy as prior Ugg slippers I’ve had.

I’m so disappointed in the Ugg Cowuette slipper. The fur feels synthetic and there is much less of it. I buy a pair every few years and I was so excited about a new pair. The old ones were heaven on my feet but these feel stiff and not soft under foot. Disappointed in the quality -

After a couple of months of wearing the slippers the material on the inside heel of the wore away (see photo). Very disappointing based on the coast of the ugg slippers.

UGGS have been a part of my life forever. Each year I buy a new pair of Coquettes. They're not worn out but the fur wears out because I wear them often. This recent pair is too wide. I'm not sure why. The style is the same, the size, the width, everything. They simply do not fit across the instep, they're sloppy. Something must have changed with how these particular UGGS are manufactured. Because writing a negative review at least requires writing to the manufacturer, I did that, without any response. Zappos was awesome and took back the too big pair and send me another to make sure they weren't somehow mismarked. since the length seems fine, and the width is the problem, no longer will UGGS be part of my shoe/slipper inventory. Not sure what to buy next. Ironically the pair I bought in 2017 was perfect; the pair this May 2018 were not. UGGS seriously needs to look at where/how these are made. Disappointment, yes, in the change and in the nonresponse from UGGS. Thank you Zappos for making this right.

The fur at the heel started coming off within a week of wearing. After two months, the heel part is bare.

Just sad. I’ve bought countless pairs of Ugg Coquette slippers over the years - my go to. I wear them year round. Never did I have to think about replacing them for years. I noticed a difference right when I put these on. Less cushion, less dense fur. In just a few months, it’s worn through. Another once great company choosing profit over quality. This is no longer a luxury shoe company - no matter what they call themselves. Sorel has already stolen a lot of my business. Looks like they’re getting the rest of it.

Super disappointed in these slippers. Within 2 or 3 weeks of light wear, the fur on one of the heels began to significantly deteriorate. I did not want to return them, but I just could not justify the price versus the poor quality! Thank goodness for Zappos excellent customer service!

I have been buying Ugg slippers for the past fifteen years. I ordered a new pair recently and they are drastically different. The fur on the inside is thin and nothing like it was before. With this cheap fur there is no padding and you are walking on the hard sole. I can see how other buyers had the fur rub off quickly as there's hardly anything there to begin with. This also makes the slippers loose. I thought maybe they were defective so looked at them at the local Nordstrom and they are exactly the same there. This is an Ugg problem...they are making a very cheap product now and charging the same exorbitant price. Don't waste your money!

I've had this pair of Uggs for less than two months and the fur on both heels is completely worn away. I had a pair of Ugg slippers prior to these that lasted several years. I see that other reviewers have had the same issue. The quality is definitely not what it used to be. The fur in these was thinner and fluffier than my prior pair. Ugg slippers were one of my few "me" splurges but no more. Fortunately, Zappos is letting me return them for a full refund. Thanks for the wonderful customer service.

Within 3 months the fur had worn off the heel base and the shoe had stretched out a full size. Expensive for poor quality. Would not recommend!

I am about to return my second pair of these in just a few months. A few years ago, I bought this style - and literally wore them non-stop. They were well worn and I felt I got my money's worth. I replaced them this year and within a matter of weeks, all the fur in the heel portion disappeared. Zappos replaced them and the replacement pair is doing precisely the same thing. Quality has changed, but not the price. I could spend less for the same quality. UGGS fix it before you lose market share!

These are a huge disappointment. I have purchased many pair of Uggs from Zappos and this is the only pair I dislike. The shearling inside is shedding so badly that the heels are bald and I've only had them a month! This renders them less comfortable as well as messy!

I wear an 8 1/2, ordered an 8 - way too big. Sent back and ordered a 7 - still too big. I had originally purchased 2 pair of the Cozy II, which I loved and thought I would try something new, but after ordering the Coquette twice and they still don't fit I'm going back to the Cozy II. Zappos still makes it super easy to return and get a new pair. Thanks Zappos for the awesome service!

Things have changed at Ugg. These slippers are already wearing out after just a few weeks and the soles are so hard and stiff; they are not like the previous three pairs that I have owned. Bottom Line: Think twice about any Ugg products and then do not do it. Zappos, I suggest you investigate the quality supplied to you from your vendors.

Arch! I am so not happy with these slippers at all! If I would have paid less for these. I would expect the quality to be this crappy. I've had these for almost 3 months and they are like walking on a hard piece of cheap plastic covered with a little fluff. The sheepskin has totally broke down so they are not even that cozy. At first they were super fluffy and cushy but now, not so much. They provide no comfort, cushion or support for your feet at all. Regrettable purchase for me. I am going to see if I can get some compensation from either Zappos or Ugg because they are not worth the money at all.

I have been buying these slippers every year for the past 6 years. The last pair I brought in August 2011, by December the wool had worn away on the bottom. After only 4 months. Ugg's quality has really gone downhill. I won't be buying these anymore.

I bought these last year but didn't really wear them until this fall. They were warm and cozy for a few months, but now the inside fleece is wearing away. Definitely very poor quality, and a total waste of money.

These were the hardest, most uncomfortable slippers I have ever put on my feet. The sole was so stiff I clumped in them instead of walked and the inside was just as hard. Absolutely no padding. Terrible! I would not recommend these if you are looking for comfort. The only good thing I can say about them is that they look good. But what good are looks without comfort? Also, they run big. I wear a ten and the nine fit fine.

Do not buy this slipper in black! They will turn your feet black! I have never had this problem with any other Ugg product before (including my black boots) and am extremely dissatisfied with this product. Have even contacted Ugg about it and done everything they have recommended with no luck.

DON'T BUY THESE SLIPPERS. I loved my Ugg boots so I thought I would buy the slippers. SAVE your money. If I had to do over again, I would buy another pair of low boots and call them slippers. I have had these slippers for about one month. The fur where my heels go is completely worn off. So, now my heels sit on the sole of the shoe. They are not as comfortable as the boots nor are they of equal quality. They were really skimpy on the lining of the slipper not even close to what I expected based on the lining of the boot. I have had other slippers that I paid much less for that hold up better. I am very disappointed with this purchase and would NEVER recommend them to anyone.

Disappointed in these - my daughter gave me these slippers for Christmas 2008. By May (about 5 months later), most of the sheepskin lining had worn out of the inside so they weren't even comfortable to wear any more. While they were great for 5 months, for almost $100, I expected the slippers to last longer than 5 months.

Fur fell off twice - The first pair I ordered - the fur fell off on the heel. I called Zappos and they more than accommodated me - they overnighted me a new pair. The service I received was beyond expected! However, when I received the new pair, within 2 weeks, the fur fell off the heel again on one of the slippers. I'm not sure why this has happened. I haven't even bothered trying to exchange them again.
