Ariat Santa Cruz Mule - Sooo comfortable, I stand all day long and they never hurt my feet. I had trouble with my knees hurting but since I started wearing these, all pain is gone. Great with jeans or for work. Plan to get another pair.

Pleasantly surprised in PA - I had purchased this brand shoe at Nordstroms several years ago and instantly they became my favorite shoe, I still can not throw them out even though they are totally worn. I know they run small and as a size 5 I could safely order a 5.5 because that is what I was wearing. I ordered them for the comfort and was really surprised at how cute they were in person. They look so nice with jeans and pants and you can not tell that they are mules as they look like boots under pants. As for comfort they did not disappoint, they were even more comfortable and padded then my old pair. The big difference is that they do run small by at least a 1/2 size if not more and I believe that is because the original pair was made in Brazil and these were made in China. All I can say is I can not wait to buy the saddle color next.

Non-clog clog with a non-heel heel- I'm rather short, but have weak ankles; I've never found anything over 3/4 inch that I could wear with comfort, until I tried these. I got an earlier version of these about 5 years ago and have worn them to rags. I wear them nearly every day, whether charging around at work or walking all day on vacation; they have only just started looking scuffed and tatty. My one complaint is they don't look right with dressing-up-for-work clothes, but that hasn't stopped me :) I haven't tried the new footbed yet, but it felt like heaven when I tried it in the store.

I loved this shoe. They are really pretty, boot like in looks and so well made. The shoe itself is very comfortable on my feet, and fits me well. I ordered an 8 wide and it felt fine even with my high instep, not tight over the top of my foot. BUT I have to return them and it kills me - I love them and the price is great. The color - more a rich lighter golden brown is lovely. The problem is the heel height. I’m 74 and this shoe has a heel that is 1 1/2 to 2 inches so my foot is angled down. This really causes my knees to hurt. I could not wear this shoe for any length of time without a lot of knee discomfort. So sorrowfully they have to go back.

I love these shoes and the right one is perfectly comfortable from the first second, but the left one hits the outside edge of my foot and hurts! So sadly, sadly I'm sending them back.

The vamp is cut too high onto the ankle.

Great Ariat sole and arch support. The edge (opening) rubs my foot. Seems sharp. My feet no longer "break in" shoes so must go back. The toe of this clog is on the bulbous side for my taste.

I wanted something to put on after I kick off my Ariat riding boots. These were very soft from the start, however, when I put on the 8 1/2, which is my true size, my heel was on the little ridge on the back. So, I tried the 9 and was swimming in them. Regretfully, had to return. I will keep looking for the perfect clog to slip on after riding.

Cute shoe. Felt as though it would be comfortable and offer decent support. However, the leather edge in the area of the goring is stiff and rough and rubbed on my foot. I was concerned it would chafe. Unfortunately have to return.

Not Bad... This show is comfortable and stylish enough to wear with casual pants. It works well with jeans. The leather lining makes them especially warm as well. My only negative is that they are a bit wider than I expected and wanted once I wore them for a couple of weeks.

Santa Cruz Mule - Nice comfortabe cushioned inner sole, but they are somewhat heavy. I'm only 109lbs with small bony feet. They wear me out after I've worn them a short while!! Although I like the tan upper, I don't really like the heavy black sole

I REALLY wanted to keep these, but I wore them around the house a couple of times, and my heel kept hitting the raised edge. I don't want to return them, but I know they will aggravate my heel spurs if I actually wear them for an extended length of time. If they had left that raised part off, these would be perfect! If I went up a size, they would be too big.

These shoes are very comfortable, but after wearing them a time or two, the entire insole came unglued and out. I have had to super glue them. They also seemed just a tad shorter than other Ariat that I have.
