LOVE THESE BOOTS! I usually wear an 8w but bought these in a 9m and they work great. I can wear my insoles in them for better arch support. Love the look - got the black/black color, they go with jeans or dresses/skirts. Get a TON of compliments on them even from real "cowgirls". I especially like the rounded toe as it makes them much more comfy. Only problem is I need to get a brown pair and I like the distressed brown from last year better than this year's version. Get a pair, they are wonderful! And of course, so is Zappos!

These are super cute boots! This is my third pair of Fat Babies. I love the fact that Zappos has my size (8W).

Have been wearing Ariat Fatbaby boots (as well as their snip toe sister, the Ranchbaby) for ages, for work and play, and well appreciate the lower shaft height, easy on and off, arch support, and overall comfort of this style. The AVS outer sole grips well and is relatively non-marking. The insole construction is smooth, padded just right for daily wear, and surprisingly breathable. And, as always with Ariat, these boots never require a "break in" period. My only bone of contention is that Ariat persists in the loud and often frilly pink, teal, and otherwise highly contrasting stitching on the shafts of their Fatbaby boots and, frankly, there are times when I would prefer something more understated.

Living and working in the rural Southwest, I needed boots that I could walk in, work in and basically live in for 8-10 hours daily. These fit the bill and then some. They cushion where needed and support as well. The tread is also great for traction in mud and snow, and allows for good ankle support when I want to hit the trails. Overall these are great boots.

I also ordered the Fatbaby in Powder Brown/Tan and these were a much different shoe. I ordered a half size down in both but could not get these on. I think the top part is narrower. Also, the color looks light brown in this photo but is decidedly olive colored in reality. Kept the other Fatbabys and love them.

These are super comfy, cute, and sturdy boots. I'm an artist so need something durable and protective while working in my studio. I wear a size 10.5 which are hard to come by, but ordered these in a 10 and after walking around the house for a few hours, they fit fine. 11s were way too big!

Love these boots! The soles are thicker than normal, and the whole boot seems more comfy. Loved these from day one! Definitely would recommend these!

I have a high instep and wear a 9.5 wide. I really wanted these boots so I took a chance and although the width was fine, my high instep fit tightly across the top of my foot. I didn't return them hoping the leather would stretch and it has! I love these boots - they fit and I can walk in them. Don't buy them hoping for cushion - they are your basic type boot for fit but they are so cute and easy to wear you won't care.

I love my Fat Baby's! People stop me wherever I go & comment on cute they are. I typically wear a size 8 & ended up with a 7.5, which is a perfect fit.

I've had these boots for a year now, and they're awesome. I have a bunion on one foot, and finding shoes that work with my feet can be tough. I wear these boots all winter. The leather has gotten nice and soft, and they're very comfortable. Plenty of room for my toes and they don't pinch or press on my bunion. My only complaint is the loops tend to snag my socks, which I saw mentioned in another review. But it's a minor issue, and I love these boots.

Oh yes these are my Gotta Have boots. I have several colors in the Fat Baby. Not the best or safest for riding, but I don't think they were meant to be ridden in. I have one pair that have been in pig pens, buffalo pastures and horse stalls and everything in between and then this color pair that are my go to town to pick up feed boots. I have collected a pair of Ariats for each occasion and all are comfortable with the kind of high arch support I have to have.

These are plus size friendly boots! I'm short and a size 20 so tall boots for regular sized woman do not fit around my calf comfortably. I'm happy to report that the shorter shaft size of these boots are perfect for me. This is my second week having them for weekend boots and I love them! They are super comfortable. I've worn them out shopping and running errands. I've worn them while hiking in the woods with the kids. They've already gotten wet and muddy but no worries. My feet stayed dry and they clean up easy. They do not rub or squeeze. They're just right! I recommend wearing a sheer sock or hosiery with them to make it easier to get them on and off. The first time I tried them on with regular socks and I thought they weren't going to fit. I'm glad I tried again with a different pair of socks. I'm already wanting a second pair.

Super boots. My first pair of shorter boots and they work. I have had major foot surgeries so getting my tall boots on doesn't work, these do. They are cute, comfortable, and will be great for riding. The black is classic and the leather lining soft. A good purchase.

These are great boots. Comfortable, colorful, warm, and with excellent toe-wiggle room. The fit is accurate and the steel shank provides stability for those of us prone to overpronation. The only drawback is the pull-on tabs which seem to catch my skin and rub when worn under jeans. Not enough of a negative to make me stop wearing them everywhere. I work standing up and walk all day and these do the job really well.

This is my 3rd pair of Fatbabies, I buy them for riding but did not realize the original ones had the thick grooved rubber tread not meant for riding, so I bought a pair of gypsy, which 2 yrs later are still sitting in the closet, they just will not break in for me. This being my 2nd pair with the rider friendly, soles, they take no more than 3 days to be completely comfortable, they also run wide enough to not need a W width if that is what you normally wear. This is my 6th pair of Ariats all together, there Ropers are also one of the most comfortable boots you will ever wear. My feet just love Ariat. Zappos has been the fastest delivery I have received on any internet purchase!

These little Fatbaby boots are so much fun, comfortable, and cute! I wear them to work with more casual outfits and even went riding in them a few weeks ago. Looks and performance all rolled up into one great little boot. Check out the many patterns. I have 7W feet and am petite and these fit wide feet well and very comfortable height. I have a little wider calf and these were perfect. If you would like a little funky Western style and boots that are supportive and have some wiggle room, you will love these. And for riding they were just perfect for occasional trail outings. Wear with light-med socks- not going to be too good for a heavy sock gal. Try their Ariat sock collection as they are really cute and comfortable.

Just got these in the mail yesterday, and I love them. The sole on the earth/bone is clunkier than expected. My foot is very narrow and long and the regular is perfect. Probably have to put some supports in though because the arch support is very low. The heel is higher then expected also, they make me at least 2 inches taller. But overall, love the boot!

Love these boots! I purchased the Earth/Bone color and love the contrasting colors and style of the boot. The sole is very lightweight and provides some cushion. I'm not a big fan of 'cowboy' boots, but the rounded toe, lug sole and traditional 'cowboy' stitching on the boot makes for a cute and unique combination. I usually wear a 7 in shoes, but a 7.5 in boots (including other Ariat boots). I had to size down to a 7 in these, so if you are on the border with your size, like me, know that this Ariat style runs a little larger and wider. Also, the boots do stretch with a few hours of wearing.

These are the third pair of this style boot I have purchased. They are so adorable and comfortable from the very first time you put them on. I just love them and they are so reasonably priced!

I already had the brown Fatbaby boots. The black ones are just as comfortable and same good Ariat quality as my others. I love them and I love Zappos great service.

2nd pair for me! I got these in black (the ones with pink and purple stitching and black suede on top). They are my second pair. First ones were higher tops. I have had crazy foot problems, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinitis, multiple episodes of physical therapy and custom orthotics made, fancy sound wave treatments on my feet. Nearly couldn't walk until it got cold and I put my old ones on. Did so well I ordered a new pair. These work for me and I have tricky feet. Try them, they are so comfortable! My husband hates them and I don't care because my feet are happy!

I love the look of Ariat Gembaby & Fatbaby western boots; however, they do not make boots for people with wide feet. I bought a pair of Gembaby boots and have tried to have them stretched so I can wear them, but they are still extremely uncomfortable. I am very disappointed that Ariat doesn't realize that not everyone has narrow feet.
