Definitely have to order at least 2 size larger. Feels funny at first since there’s no mid sole support. I have yet to try a Zumba class. Only time will tell if this was a good purchase.

Flexible sole gives good movement and traction was good. I normally take a Wide width, and the mesh upper allowed me to wear it even though it was a Medium width. Unfortunately, because the shoe doesn't lace up as far as a normal athletic shoe, I wasn't able to do the lacing that helps tighten down the heel (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=noO3bTs_4xA), so the heel rubbed up and down. I think if you don't have a narrow heel/wide toe box, though, this would be a great selection for dance and cross-training aerobic classes. Finally settled on a New Balance model.
I'd also recommend:

I think this is a great shoe! unfortunately it runs very small. I ordered 1 size bigger and still too tight. I usually wear a 7, ordered an 8, but will have to order 8 1/2 or even a 9.

I bought these for Body FX dance workouts. They are great for that. Pretty comfy and flexible insoles. They are really small. I normally wear a 10 and bought 11. These are almost too small. I kept them thinking 11.5 would be too big. Pretty good for what I needed over all.

I really wanted to love this shoe for zumba and other dance events. Took other reviewer’s advice and ordered a size up (though 1/2 size extra would have been ideal, but 13 was my only choice at size 12!). The half-size would have made all the difference! The fit was snug, my toes right at the edge. Good on turns, lightweight, well made. Try a lunge or plie when making a choice on dance shoes, my toes at the edge made that simple move excrutiating! Sadly, am returning.

I have been wearing Bloch sneakers for Zumba for over 8yrs, These sneakers provide excellent arch support but this recent purchase proved to be 1 1/2 sizes smaller than my usual size in shoes. I am usually size 6 1/2 -7M, ended up with size 8 1/2 in these sneakers for a comfortable fit.

This is a terrific dance sneaker. The style and construction were just what I was looking for. Unfortunately, the sizing is VERY small and inconsistent. Zappos return policy is extremely helpful generous. It took many different sizes to find a pair that fit best...still not sure if I will keep them. Regardless, try these dance sneakers but order at least one size larger than you usually wear.

I like how comfortable these shoes are but, the sizing is so odd. I'm normally size 6.5 or 7. I ordered multiple sizes and settle on the size 8. Thanks to Zappos for easy return.

Runs small. I normally wear a size 7-Wide or 7.5-Medium. I bought an 8-medium. Arch support was fantastic, nice slide & pivot, width was fine, adequate room in toe area, but it's shorter than anormal USA sized 8 shoe. My toes were touching the top of the shoe.

As many have noted, you need to order at least a full size up on these shoes. I normally wear an 8 or 8 1/2, so I ordered a nine and have returned them for a ten. Much better. I have bought these shoes before, and found them perfect for Zumba classes. They give support and balance between traction and ease of movement. Also, there is a difference between the mesh and canvas models. Some preference might be for style and breathablity, but I found the canvas to be a bit more comfortable, perhaps because I have a slighter wider foot,.

This shoe will work well for my dance class if I get the correct size. I wear an 11 but ordered a 12 based on reviews. It turns out I need to return them for a 13 because the toe box is too short for my long toes. They are lightweight but the "cushiony" heels and soles are great. I wish there was another hole at the top to tighten it closer on my narrow ankles, but at least it isn't loose and non-supportive.

I really wanted to like/keep this shoe. It feels more supportive and comfy than the Capezio Rockit. I wear this type shoe in Zumba. Both Brands run terribly small. I am a 7 1/2 and needed a 9 1/2 in this shoe as the toes were too tight. But the soles of the Bloch, on this style, do not seem to allow as much movement and it bothered my knees. So they are going back and I'm keeping the Capezio.

These sneakers were a big improvement over the ones I used to wear. They are supportive and I feel safe dancing all the complicated steps in Zumba.

Order a full size larger than your normal sports shoe. Purchased for Zumba - looking forward to trying in class. I've been wearing orthotics in my Ryka dance shoes and wanted another option. I usually wear a 9 in sport shoes: running shoes, cross trainers, court shoes and my Rykas are all 9s. My orthotics are size 9. I measured the insole against my orthotics and the 10 Bloch insole matched very close - still just a bit smaller than the 9 orthotic.

I love these kinds of shoes. Im a retired hip hop dancer and choreographer so I got these to wear around the house while I listen to iPod. They are comfortable if you add a gel insert in the front, the arch support isnt much so compression socks help. They don't keep their "newness" very long either. Pretty much look old within a month. Ive had mine 4 months and need to buy a new pair. That being said, I will still order them again but only from Zappos. I got a pair from Bloch. $15 shipping took over a week to get delivered and their size 9 was bigger than my 9.5 in the same shoe. Clearly they had labeled it wrong, I measured. Sent them an email with pics. They pretty much started blaming me, old stock etc. They wanted me to ship back, at my expense and get another size. Which I answered how do I know what size to order when their 9 was bigger than the 9.5 I had. Mind you zappos had shipped me a pair of adidas, too big (my fault) free shipping. They sent me a return label (again free) and had the new right size adidas to my door (1 day) before bloch gave me a response on their own shoes. But besides all that, I love these damn shoes. I have so much fun in them. I walk the dog in them and sing along with my ipod shaken my butt down the street. Clean in them bouncin around the whole time.Ya they're worth it

I bought these for Zumba; my other ones did not have enough support. These are very soft in the arch - allows me to flex my foot, and have good padding in the heels. I ordered a full size larger than usual based on reviews, and found that to be correct. The 8 1/2 fits fine and I usually wear 7 1/2. I wear them with normal weight (cotton, like Hanes or L'eggs) socks.
I'd also recommend:
Zumba brand if your size is in stock. Ryka has a little less cushioning.

Very nice dance shoe. I normally wear size 6 Med or Wide in dress shoes and size 7 in a Brooks running shoe. For this shoe, I ended up getting size 7.5, so they do run small. I could have fit into a size 7 as well, but preferred more toe room. I wear them with medium thick socks. I wish they had more cushion for shock absorption, but otherwise they're perfect! I also have a medium arch and the arch support is very good.

These shoes are unusual. Be ware, they run VERY small. I like them for certain activities, not an all day walk or run. But definitely show-stopper looks..

Order 1 + 1/2 sizes above your athletic shoe size! (I wear 8 reg, 8 1/2 athletic- I'd take a 10 in these).

I'm very hard to fit for sneakers so I gave these a try for walking-around shoes. They're a little odd, but kind of growing on me. Somehow they manage to be the only shoe I've ever worn that does NOT compliment my ankles, but I like the lightness compared with running shoes. The left one only manages to hit my Achilles at a bit of an uncomfortable angle, but I think that's easily solved with a Band-Aid.

I have an advanced Morton's Neuroma in my left foot and one developing in my right. I cannot wear closed in shoes other than my UGGS, which I don't wear for long. I want to go to Zumba and other dance classes for exercise, so it was essential I find something I could wear, if only for an hour or two. After reading the reviews, I ordered a ten for my size 8 foot. My foot is wide in the front but my heel is narrow. My arch is exceptionally high. I ordered up a size for the width/neuroma and up a size due to the manufacturer's errors in marking sizes. I do have a little extra room at the front which those without a neuroma could get away with. Granted, no closed in shoe will do for the long run with a neuroma of this magnitude, but after wearing them for several hours, I can see they will enable me to take a class every now and then without injuring myself. Nice pivoting! I deducted a star for the mismarked sizing.

I finally bought these for Zumba after trying the slipper sleeve things that go over the toes of regular sneakers which were helpful but a little too slippery for certain moves. I find the shoe really comfortable, but mostly they have saved my poor knees which were causing me to consider not going to Zumba any more! As other reviews say, order up at least a size or two. I wear a size 10 to 10 1/2 but ended up needing a size 12 in these.

I have had mine for almost three years now, and I am glad I chose this brand. I use them at least three times a week when we go dancing, and only put them on when I am already at the dance floor. Lightweight and so allows me flexibility with various dance steps. I think I will buy another pair of the same brand as I am very happy with it.
