Disappointed, but I'm keeping them anyway -
I bought this shoe for my salsa aerobics class at the gym. I thought it would stop by feet from cramping, which was happening with my regular gym shoes. I'm sorry to say this was not the case. Still, I prefer wearing these shoes to my other workout pair. I read what others said about the size, but I only ordered 1-1/2 sizes over my size (11). I should have ordered the 13. I wish they were a little wider, and I sure wish I knew what caused my feet to cramp and ache the first 20 minutes of every class, but that's a different story.

Good all-around practice sneaker...
This shoe is great value and performs reasonably well on the floor. I would prefer a slimmer look and more custom feel for delicate and fast movements, but with a size 13AA foot, that's always a struggle. I ordered size 14 and it's been fine in terms of length. It allows clean, smooth turning, but is not good for fast footwork, like Latin Dance or Jive.

For these to fit like dance shoes, I recommend ordering one up from your street size. If you want them to fit like street shoes, order 1 1/2 larger.

Could be a '5 Star'...
Yes, this shoe runs small. But it is really a dancer's shoe. It is supposed to be snug and give your foot some freedom of movement at the same time. I ordered a full size larger than I normally wear, and at first, it still felt a little snug. Now after wearing them often, this feels just right to me. The feel of the shoe is a bit unusual at first, if you are not familiar with dance. But for me it was perfect! Love it!

Very cool sneaker just not quite sure how to use it -
This sneaker is probably awesome for dance based exercise classes. I bought it to jump rope in but I think it doesn't have enough ankle support for that. I’m also not sure if it's a good sneaker for walking or just wearing every day because it doesn't have any arch support and I think after awhile that wouldn't be good for your feet. But it is VERY LIGHTWEIGHT and VERY COMFORTABLE and VERY COOL LOOKING. It definitely runs small! I'm a 7.5 - 8 usually and I ended up with a 10.

Excellent shoe, wrong size.
The shoe is comfortable -- light, very good arch support -- except for the size. I am a size 8 to 8-1/2 and even size 10 feels a little too small! I am exchanging it for a 10-1/2.

Size is way off!
This is a really cute dance shoe, but I had to order a size and a half larger to get the right fit. Sent the first pair back. It has good arch support for high arches, though. And it's very cute!

Great dance shoe -
This is a wonderful dance shoe as long as you get AT LEAST one size larger than you usually wear. I usually wear a 7, but for this shoe I needed an 8 1/2!

Bloch DRT Mesh Sneaker -
I think the Bloch is a very nice, comfortable shoe, and much the best looking of similar shoes. I use them for dancing. My only problem is finding the right size. My normal shoe size is 10-1/2 (women's) and even with a size 12, my toes are hitting the end of the shoe. I tried a size 12-1/2 in a store and it was too big. So I am going to order another pair of 12's and hope that it works. With Zappos free shipping, trial and error is not a problem. But word to the wise with women's Bloch's - size up at least 1-1/2 sizes from your standard shoe size.

I have been buying this particular shoe for over 5 years and truly loved them. Now they are running smaller and the fit is different. The heal was uneven and felt weird. I ordered them in the summer and had the same experience. I returned that pair and tried again as I love these shoes. Unfortunately I had the same bad experience again. :(

My dang Bunion is preventing me from keeping these shoes. Otherwise, these dance shoes were promising. The toe box is not quite wide enough to accommodate the bunion on my left foot. Loosening and adjusting the laces did not help. Bummed. Not sure if Bloch offers wide dance sneakers but I'm off to find them. Note that I would normally wear an 8 in sneakers, but in these, I sized up to a 9 yet my big toe was still touching the front of the shoe.

Not terrible but toes were weirdly long, like pointe shoes. I kept tripping over them. The rest of the shoe fit okay

Sizing is WILDLY out of whack! I wear size 10 in every shoe except Vionix sandals (9.5 in them), but even a size 11.5 in Bloch was painfully small in these shoes! ?. I had to buy a size 12,5 to achieve a comfortable fit! ?. I held them up to my old pair (size 11 from 8 years ago) and they are virtually the same length! Where is the quality control on this formerly fine old German brand? Beyond disappointed!

Order 1 1/2 sizes bigger than normal. I wear a 7 in tennis shoes...you need an 8 1/2. However, sending them back as they are very wide. Not really happy with the style but are very light on your feet.

Cute shoe. I'm sure it would have been perfect for Zumba, if it had fit. Be warned, buy a full size up if you plan to wear socks inside the shoe. I bought and returned these for that reason.

Not enough ankle support for high impact Zumba moves! I was hoping to use these shoes for Zumba. Although rather clunky-looking, they were light and had plenty of mesh for breath-ability. The turning point in the ball of the sole was well placed, and the soles had about the right amount of traction to allow pivoting without slipping. However, these shoes were not well cushioned in the insole/midsole (feet started to lose feeling after a few minutes of moves), and did not have enough ankle support. I fell and almost sprained my ankle trying a typical high impact Zumba move (eg. pony from side to side). I returned them and went with a pair of Nike's that lace up higher on the ankle.

Shoe looks great and feels great in terms of flexibility and movement, but it was too narrow for my normal size of 6W. I followed the manufacturer's recommendation and ordered it one size up to accommodate a wife foot, but that did not work. It just felt like a longer, narrow shoe. Zappos service was great. Easy ordering, and shoes arrived in 2 days.

This shoe definitely needs to be ordered one full size larger. I was wanting it for Zumba, and it was bulky around ankle.

My street shoe size is 6.5. I ordered a pair of size 7's. Right shoe was okay. Left shoe was way too small. Even on the right shoe, that fits okay, I felt the shoe doesn't provide enough ankle support. Fortunately, with Zappos's return policy, it was no trouble to return the shoes at all. I bought a different pair, Capezio Rockit Dancesneaker (also from Zappos), and it was cheaper, had more ankle support, and same arch support, I love it. Dance sneaker is a must for line dancing and zumba dancing.

I bought these for Zumba class and wore them once before I tore my knee. These shoes are very narrow and, as others have noted, offer little arch support. But they are not supposed to as they are a split sole shoe. I think they will take some getting used to but I definitely felt lighter on my feet and could pivot more easily than in regular fitness sneakers. I did have to return these to get a larger size as they run short too. Go up a full size to 1.5 sizes to make them work.

I love the color! I desperately wanted to be able to use this shoe for Zumba, but it was not deep enough (from top to bottom) in the arch for my high arches. This made the tongue unstable, and I could feel parts of the shoe digging into the top of my foot. Also, could feel the bottom part of the heel sole digging into the soft part of my heel. Beware, the heel sole has two V looking parts. The one on the inner side of the heel can compress a nerve and cause damage if you are not careful! I liked the Bloch Evolution much better - the heel sole does not have those two V areas, and it is just an overall much more relaxing shoe. I wear a size 10 street shoe, ordered an 11 in this and it fit fine.

I have really bad flat feet, so I found that my shins became very irritated from dancing in these. Maybe I just have to add a support insert.
