My daughter is a 7.5, but I bought an 8, sized up. I should not have, she says they are a little big and makes it hard to control the flex.

Definitely order 1/2 size larger than normal. Very comfortable and stylish. Would recommend.

The have got to be the most comfortable tap shoes in existence. My feet are wide up top and narrow in the heel, and the shoes flex to fit every part perfectly without slipping off while I tap.

Buttery soft leather, easy to put on and off. Expensive, but much better quality than less expensive tap shoes. For reference, my child wears size 3-3.5 in street shoes and the size 5.5 tap shoes fit her.

It runs super small! Not one size small but more like 2 sizes too small! Other then that it is amazing and my daughter and I knew that before we ordered these tap shoes! They are top quality!

These are wonderful shoes! But - boo-hoo! Even in a narrow, they're just a bit too wide for me. They slip a little. I need the style with laces. But don't let that stop you from trying these out! (By the way, I wear a size 9 to 9-1/2" in street shoes. I ordered these in size 10-1/2. There is a size chart in the description, and it's really good to look at!)

A bit snugger than the laced version, but both deliciously comfy.

Great shoe, above-average sound. Good for those with strong feet and strong ankles, due to less support and more flexibility. Toe stands are easy, but need strength in ankles to support. Largest sizes work for middle-sized male feet.

I just ordered these. They are great! They have a very soft lining in the inside of this shoe. The taps make a solid sound, very loud and clear! I've tap danced for at least 2 years, and these are the best I've gotten! The elastic band makes it easy for quick changes during recitals, or anytime you need to slip these on fast! The split sole makes it easier to to do toe stands, wings, pullbacks, because the shoe gives you the ability to flex you foot! I would highly recommend these to a friend! I love these shoes!

These shoes fit better than most regular shoes. I have a very narrow foot and the 'slip on' style holds my foot in place while providing the necessary flexibility. Great shoes!!

Finally a NARROW width that is Narrow! These shoes are fabulous! My daughter is a serious tapper who has struggled to find shoes that would stay on her very narrow feet. These are working wonderfully! The shoes were delivered incredibly fast...we will be using Zappos again!

These shoes rock! I bought these shoes for my ten year old daughter who has only taken tap for a year. They are more flexible than regular tap shoes and she says they are much easier to tap in. She can even do toe stands in them. She can produce better sounds in these shoes and they have made quite a difference in her technique. In her words, "These shoes rock!"

The price was high, but worth it because of the convenience.

This shoe is comfy and a joy to dance in - and I have bad feet! I was pleased that it was a real "narrow." I would strongly recommend it - even though my orthotics don't fit in it.

omg I love these shoes. They are so true to size and are so loud. I am a just starting tap and I would not want any other shoe to show off my talents lol. I would buy a couple and slates for the bottom if you’re are a hard core tapper but other than that they are great!

Tapping - These shoes felt good from the first step. They did not slip or slide from my foot but stayed secure through all the dance movements.

Great - These are my first tap shoes (as I am a new tapper)! They fit very well and are quicker to put on than other styles of tap shoe. Great!

My first adult taps - These shoes were very hard to get on (I have a high instep), but once on my foot, they fit like gloves. They're my first adult tap shoes, so I can't compare them to other models.

Really comfortable tap shoe! I do Cape Breton step dancing and it took me awhile to find a tap shoe that worked well for this style. This is it! The flexability was what I really needed to do this type of step dancing because so much of it is done up on the halftoe. The shoe fits well and let's my foot bend in the right places. The taps have a very nice sound and the shoe looks like a nice boot when worn under long pants.

Comfort Plus! The shoes are a perfect fit. I wear an 8.5 shoe and I bought the 8.5 and they are wonderful. Great look, great feel, great sound. I am a beginner and first bought the cheap patent Mary Janes by another brand. They had sheet metal taps and I couldn't hear myself. These taps are great! I highly recommend. Oh and Zappos.com was great too! No shipping charge and no tax (in IL) you cannot beat it. Delivery was fast!

Very happy - I just got my shoes today and I'm VERY PLEASED with the look, the fit and the feel. However, I can't say this early in the game how they will do in my dance class or how they'll do in the long run. Time will tell. For the price, though, I think they were a GREAT deal. Hard to get on ... My “almost” 9-year-old daughter had a hard time getting these shoes on. They are super soft though, so we will order the "tie" ones instead.
