I ordered these ballet shoes, as I was in a rush searching locally for ballet shoes which all were sold out in the store. I like Zappos and after two other failed attempts I ordered from two other websites in which the shoes were terrible , I said I would give this brand a shot (3RD times a charm). I received the shoes promptly which was great and they fit my girls perfect. I have three little dancers age 10 and twins that are 8 years old. The shoes fit to a T. I ordered there street size and the shoes was very true to size. I also liked that they offer different widths within the shoes for a more comfortable feel. The shoes also had a nice fit I noticed that sometimes ballet shoes can fit a little saggy not these, I hope they last the entire year for their class. I was very satisfied with the product the leather was nice and appeared to be a quality dance shoe, I would highly recommend these shoes to anyone who has little girls in dance.

Great shoe with soft leather

Great quality ballet shoe. I went these for my daughter because the full soled shoe wasn't available in her size. Sizing was tricky- daughter wears a 4.5 and after a few smaller sizes of trial and error I kept the size 4.5-they are only a tad bigger. Thanks Zappos for your great customer service!

Excellent dance shoe. My second pair. I am a ballet/ pointe student.

I normally wear a 10/11, and the 8.5 slipper fit perfectly. I started taking an adult ballet class, and my instructor commented that these are quality ballet slippers. They look and feel good on my feet as I am dancing also.

I wear a size 7 street shoe so I got a 5 1/2. It was Bloch, and I should have gotten a size 5. Too much string to tie. And elastic going around the foot. I probably will try a different brand next time.

I am size 8M and I ordered size 6M. These ballet shoes are very well made they are leather so they will stretch as this size feels a little snug on my toes right now.

I've been wearing Bloch Dansoft shoes for a few years. I'm normally a 6.5, and have always purchased these in a 4 for a good, tight fit, but the length on this pair was too long.

They seemed a bit tight on my daughters feet but she did not insist on taking the money off during class.

I normally wear a 6.5 or 7 street shoe, and don't have wide feet. These shoes were both too wide in the middle and too big in the toe, but also the strap felt oddly tight. I'm trading these out for a cross-strap style in a smaller size instead!

I own a full sole version of Bloch Dansoft, size 4.5 B, which fits perfect, so I ordered this split sole version in the same size and width. To my surprise, split sole version's width is much narrower than the full sole one. As an exchange, I got a 4.0 D, which is the widest available on Zappos, but it didn't fit unfortunately. "D" was still too narrow! For those who are considering to get this pair, if your feet are on the wider side, it may not fit.

Based on reviews, I ordered two sizes smaller from my daughter's street shoe size. The slippers ended up being too small. I then reordered one and a half sizes smaller, still too small. I am very confused by the sizing. I do not understand why Zappos cannot provide brand specific sizing information.

I read multiple reviews prior to purchasing these shoes the concept of decreasing your size by 2 is wrong.. at least for me the shoes were too tight nothing like wasting time, energy and effort for not decreasing the size puts the padding in the wrong place To find your correct size you might want to drop 1 shoe size...

These run big. Size down a half or even a full size if you plan to use them as dance shoes. Remember they will stretch. But they are nice shoes as they always have been.
