Really comfortable, lots of understated style. A bit bigger than other NB shoes. Great addition to my NB collection.

These shoes are awesome. They have that classic "retro" style that other New Balance shoes offer (mainly 574s), while having a subtly distinctive color combination and vastly superior comfort. Plus, Zappos dominates with free shipping both ways (and even upgraded mine to expedited shipping at no charge).

Great Shoe - No complaints here...look good and fit well. The super buck is really cool.

Good Lookin' Out!! If you’re in the search for a stylish alternative to say, all-white New Balance 600-somethings, I’d recommend copping these!! I really like mine. As a fiend of all shoes "retro" (I really hate that term...), I was looking for a good looking pair of throwbacks to wear on my upcoming Europe trip that were actually well made (not Nikes or Adidas), but not as ugly as the US-market 900-series models or similar. So after a bunch of searching, I settled on the USA-made 1300's, and am very satisfied with my purchase. These shoes are very comfortable, good arch support. Beware, though, the sizing is definitely a bit tricky: I first tried the 10-d's (the size recommended to me at the local New Balance store) from Zappos, but found them to be too small. Then I tracked down 10.5-ee's, which were way too damn big!! Then I tried the 10-ee's, also too big. Finally, Zappos restocked these in 10.5-d's, and they fit like a glove.

These are ninja shoes - Looks good...feels good...but falls apart quickly. Best shoes on this whole site at the moment as far as I am concerned.

Classically good looking NB runner. The durability is questionable, they don't feel too sturdy for a $100+ shoe, but they do look good. And for us collectors, NB please make your shoeboxes bigger. It’s impossible to store them in the box after you lace them up.

Not the same shoe it used to be! If you're a long time wearer of this shoe, & like me was disappointed when it was discontinued but then excited when it became available again, a warning to you. It's not the same quality shoe, and I did not find it acceptable for my running (cheaper materials, not same fit, not as good cushioning). There are much better and less expensive shoes elsewhere on this site.

Comfortable, very good quality and great design! Love it. Only question - how to clean it. Have no idea.

These classic 1300 are amazing and my personal favorite from New Balance. :)

While these are more expensive than your average pair of Nike's, you can really feel the difference in quality as soon as you put them on. The lining is so soft and comfortable. These are great shoes despite the high price, can't really complain.

Amazing shoe, could not ask for much better quality. The stitching is beautiful as it is intricate, and the shoe feels custom made. I wear between a size 13 and a size 14 depending on brand, and this shoe in a 13 fits very well.

The quality is ridiculous...shoe does run big, so order whole size down. I am 9.5 with Nike, Adidas and most sneakers, I purchased an 8.5 for the 1300s and it fits just like a 9.5.

Classic styling, extremely comfortable with good arch support and cushioning. Great breathability so you can wear them throughout the day without your feet getting too hot. Price is steep, but this is a shoe that will last for years and only get more comfortable. I am completely satisfied with this purchase. The only thing I had to get used to was the slightly large heel on this shoe. It adds a little height, but this provides all the awesome cushioning so it doesn't bother me anymore. Go for it!

Very comfortable shoe, but I haven't tried a New Balance offering that isn't. The 1300 is a great classic style and this particular color way looks amazing in person!

Gangster shoes. They have a very stylish look. I like to wear mine with loose laces though, so I have to use a second pair of shoe insoles to make them a bit more snug because of that. I am seeing them at a higher price than I bought mine about a year ago. I can understand the ridiculous price, because they are really a bad ass shoe, both with pants and my favorite, with shorts.

The style on these are awesome and they do not look big what so ever as one reviewer said. I had a pair of 574 classics and those fit nice, however they do not breathe near as well as these. These were not stiff whatsoever, however I feel as tho the support is definitely lacking. In other words, if I were doing something that required pivoting in any way I would fear that my ankle would roll and get injured. The arch is good. In fact there is a part of me that kind of thinks that it might be a little much as it seems at times that I am kind of leaning forward in a way. Regardless, I definitely like these shoes for style points and to find such stylish shoes to be comfortable too is a rarity.

This is a great looking shoe. I love the style, but it wears a bit funny. My heel tends to slip out because the laces don't really synch the shoe together. And the sole makes a sound when walking, it sounds like I'm wearing dress shoes with a wooden heel. I got the white/black/orange style and the grey gets dirty really quickly and doesn't rub clean like most other shoes. I've been wearing 574s and other classic styles for years now and have never been disappointed. This pair however really gets to me. The M1300s are not up to the usual NB standard in my opinion. They are solid shoes with good support, and look good too so I wear them every now and then. But unlike the 574s, they are not a good "go to" or all purpose shoe.

These are great for "fashion". However, that said they are not very durable. The construction is just terrible. The rubber began peeling off the toe almost immediately. The stitching also began to come undone. The mesh at toe-box also began to rip after less than a year of wear. I expected more from these shoes considering the high number (1300). I thought the construction/materials used were supposed to be better the higher up it went, but I guess not. I had a pair of NB's that held up better. No I hate. I love the profile of the shoes. I wore them very frequently. Too bad they were not as durable as I had hoped. Made in the USA used to mean excellent quality and craftsmanship.

Although Made in the USA, the quality is less than that of shoes that come from China and elsewhere. on day 2 the sole that comes up over the toe box started to peel away on one shoe. The N's on the side also started to come unglued within the first 5 days. Not worth the ridiculous price for these.
