Warm and dry! These boots aren't the most stylish and sort of remind me of men's motorcycling boots, but they are sooooo warm, and when I stepped in ice cold water up to my ankles they didn't leak. I am very impressed. They fit my foot fine, but oddly are tight in the leg, and I do not have out-sized calves, so I find that strange.

Love these boots - I love the fact that these boots are lined with shearling (that's the "weird brown furry stuff" mentioned in the previous review!) because they're warm enough for cold winters without looking too clunky, and it feels like you're wearing slippers all day long. I expected these boots to be on the casual side so no surprises there. I would recommend buying a half size bigger if you plan to wear socks with these, as the lining makes the boots a little snug. I have slightly thicker calves and ankles and the boots are a bit snug on my calves only, but are stretching to accommodate.

Supreme comfort - I ordered these boots for a trip to Europe, supremely comfortable, extra soft leather, VERY well made, a little more casual than I thought but a very cool look. I have received many compliments...very warm!!!! I Love Zappos!!

These boots were super comfy and lightweight. I usually wear a 7 or 7.5; ordered the 7 b/c they didn’t have a 7.5. They fit well if I wear thin socks, felt tight w/ medium socks, and can’t wear with thick socks. Also, almost no arch support, so definitely order up if you want to add inserts/orthotics. I have thin calves, and I just barely managed to zip these over skinny jeans and thin socks. Unfortunately, they only look okay. The toe is too square-shaped, and I wish the boot was taller. For this price, I can’t justify keeping them unless they were the perfect boot. As always, great service from Zappos.

Not perfect, but a great boot, a great find. I am normally a size 7 1/2 narrow. I read all the reviews carefully, and ordered a size 8 in brown. I am petite, and have narrow feet and slim calves, and thought this boot fit my narrow foot just fine with a thin sock. But I cannot understand the looser fit at the ankle, and also the very tight fit on my calves. Maybe they will take some breaking in. But they meet a lot of my criteria: they are very warm, have plenty of toe room, and are waterproof! The style is a little clunky, but small price to pay for such practical boots. Maybe I will grab another pair in black. Looking forward to being very "toasty" and dry during this El Nino winter! Thanks, Zappos, for such great service. Took a little breaking in - These boots are definitely more polished than my old winter boots. I had to add an arch support to them because they were killing my foot after wearing them for a day. With the arch support, they are great.

The first pair of boots to fit me properly! I've looked for years for a pair of tall boots that fits me as soon as I put them on, especially around the calf. These are amazingly comfortable - no breaking in required! The lining makes them warm and comfy without feeling too hot in the mild Southern California winter. Great height - not too feminine and very versatile. I think that they were a bit expensive for the simple style but they are obviously very well made. Recommended.

This Boot is Lined!!!!! Very comfortable but I returned, mainly because it's LINED, not with leather as they say but with weird brown furry stuff, too warm for Seattle. Also the leather is flexible to the point of looking really fake. One of the few boots that fits my (thinner) calfs though, nice toe room, fits narrow heels.
