I bought size 5; I usually wear a 7 1/2 women's shoe. The length was fine, but it was a little snug on the width. I like to go barefoot year round, this helps keep my feet warm when the morning temperature dips below 45 degrees. They seem to fit better the more I wear them. Perfect for southern California winters.

Good dance shoe - I purchased this shoe 2 sizes smaller than my street shoe size. It seems to be a little large. I think one size lower would have been perfect. But even though it's not a perfect fit, it's still nice to dance in. It definitely saves my feet from a lot of twisting!
