I buy a new pair every 6 months. I am on my feet 8 hours a day and these shoes are amazing.

Great shoe for lotsa walking. I put them on and worked 15 hours. No break-in needed.

Great fit; very comfortable walking; looks good with nice dress clothes; and roughed material to last a long time.

The Rockport Northfied is absolutely the ultimate shoe I wear for dress, (with a suit or tux), for work, indoors and outdoors (even in the rain). They are very comfortable, lightweight, and you can wear them for hours and hours. For some "longer" days I do swap out the insoles for other inserts that make these shoes even more comfortable being flat footed. I have worn Rockport shoes for most of my adult lifetime (I'm 68) and when I discovered these I've stuck with them ever since. The fact that they are waterproof are an added plus since my job sometimes exposes me to the elements and "weather" it be rain, or thru puddles, sometimes even mud they do the job. Being waterproof makes them easy to clean to without fear of damaging the leather. Now don't get me wrong, I put in some work with a good leather shoe polish to keep them shined , but the exterior will last and last. Ok, I cheat too with bottled quick polish, but a leather polish is best. The sole of the shoe is lightweight and lasts reasonably well, obviously relative to one's own weight and the number of hours on your feet. On the sides of the sole I do use a polish too that keeps them looking a bit more dressed. I personally first tried them in the Rockport store and have ordered online thru Rockport always finding better sales online and most always on the Rockport official website.

These shoes are stylish, comfortable, very good value and the waterproof feature is the added bonus.

Great functional daily shoe. Not too heavy. My son doesn't like the waxy laces (need to double knot!), but that is an easy fix. They seem pretty durable, but we've only worn for 1 month. The buck is very nice-looking; not too dark or light. Happy with this purchase, would recommend. We bought a second pair as backup to rotate, but not sure that will be necessary. The soles are industrial! Run true to size.

I have been using this style in various colrs for many years. very comfortable. Sized right, Excelent wear I walk 4 to 5 miles a day in these at work .

I love the shoes but the issue is the shoestrings. After 1 week of wear, the laces are starting to fray. I have requested replacements (Brown and Round).

I love this shoe. They're comfortable, keep my feet dry, useful when hiking, or on the town. My friends associate this shoe with me.
