Great Shoes! My husband loved them and other people asked where to get them when he wore them to work. He told them of course. We are very satisfied!

Comfortable shoe with good support and rubber sole.

Happy husband - Having never purchased shoes on line, my husband could not find what he wanted in stores, and I suggested Zappos. The quick search put in the size and soon he had a perfect fitting shoe for work that even looked nice. Even the first day of wear they felt like he had worn them for years.

Good Shoes - Very comfortable, nice looking and most important do not set metal detectors off at work.

Rockport shoes - My husband loved them. We ordered them for work. And they were very comfortable and were just what he wanted. True to size and he got compliments on them. He liked them so much he wore them out to dinner with his jeans that night.

Rockport Northfield - I am a big man with a very wide foot. I have a tough time finding shoes that fit properly, with support and comfort when new, and then stay that way after they break-in. These shoes fit the bill. I use them for casual wear and for work when dress shoes are not necessary. Upside: Very comfortable, all the time; decent support; good looks for an engineering style of shoe; they are truly waterproof; priced right; and for a shoe with a soft leather finish, the uppers stand up to a lot of abuse without looking bad. Downside: The lightweight soles that add so much to the comfort and make the shoe much lighter in weight than they appear also tend to wear faster than Vibram or hard rubber. I have two pairs in my closet that still look good, but the soles have advanced wear. Operative words here ..."two pairs". Yes ... despite this, I continue to buy them because they do so much so well. I just ordered my next pair today. Great shoe. Thanks Zappos, your service is first class.

Great shoes - I great shoe for those with narrow feet needing support. Very comfortable--I am tempted to wear them more than just for business wear. You won't be disappointed.

After 70 years, I've found the perfect shoe - This is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I am finishing my second pair and ordering my third. I agree that the printed size is overstated; that is, what Rockport calls an 11 1/2 fits what I normally have as an 11 or 10 1/2. The sole goes on and on without re-soling, although this is partially due to the fact that I like the suede-brown model of this shoe and that finish starts to wear down, with cross-creases in front of the shoe, after approximately 300 daily wearings.

My order was made late Wednesday evening. Arrived on Friday afternoon. That is now. This is GOOD. Fit perfect. Very comfortable. I am hard to fit, soooooooo these are keepers. Selection was by brand first, appearance next, and cost. Generally a repeat buyer if treated well and no screw-ups. So far, VERY GOOD!

A big guy has big shoes to fill. I liked the look of these bad boys, and I really needed a pair of comfortable, suede, tan shoes to wear at work. I dress in Tommy Bahama shirts, chinos, and Rockports, which is the required uniform for 50 year old men here in Southern California. The first pair were a bit narrow, and I didn't want to play that "wear them until they break in" game. Ihave a pair of hundred dollar shoes disappear into the back on my closet. I re-ordered a pair of 11 wides, while Zappos made it so easy in sending the narrow ones back. The 11 wides were extremely comfortable right out of the box and remain so, even at the end of their first 12 hour day. With the thick sole and Rockport comfort it's the perfect all-day shoe for a big guy.

Can't go wrong with Rockports!!! I really love these shoes. Can't go wrong with Rockports! Comfort, weather resistant. I have been buying Rockports for over 10yrs.

Awesome Rockport as always - I buy nothing but Rockport as overall, they are the most comfortable & light weight shoes made all styles. The Northfield is their most comfortable yet. No break in time needed ast all. Like slippers on your feet and top quality. Rockport, do not discontinue or change this shoe at all.

Good fitting shoes - Bought these shoes for my husband who has a wide foot. I click on WIDE shoes when shopping and came up with the listing. I purchased these hoping they would be comfortable for him and he said they are very comfortable. No need to break in the shoes… wore them for 10 hours straight the first time.

Fits well, looks good - This shoe looks nice enough for a business meeting, at least in my state of Colorado. It fits exactly as I hoped.

Comfortable, looks are deceiving - These are my second pair of Rockports from Zappos. They are not quite as stylish as my first ones, but are very comfortable. The sizing is a little off in width, but doesn't distract from the fit, too much. The leather did not take a "shine" as well as I'd hoed, but the shoes are definite keepers for comfort.

Nice shoe. Great shoe for the casual work environment I'm in. They are quite comfortable shoes and are the workhorse. The only drawback is the 'thin' padding/cushioning in the forefoot, but I have a stress fracture so any shoe would be inadequate to the task. A special insole and I'm good to go.

Wish they were a little wider, not enough room with orthodic - I am replacing Rockport Brooklands. I wear an orthotic. These are slightly narrower than the discontinued Brooklands. I am searching for an 8.5 D that runs a little wide with a removable insole. The 8.5e was a little too wide.

Very Happy with the Northfield - These have become my preferred shoes. They were comfortable from the start, and they have remained so. They seem to run a little narrower than the Rockport Margin. I have narrow feet, so perhaps that's why I prefer the Northfield to the Margin. I wear them to work every day in "business casual" environment, and they seem to work well for that. (The lugged soles make them less ideal for more dressy situations.) I'm also glad that they're waterproof. It's a great shoe!

Rockport's Northfield - My son ordered this for his summer job to look more professional yet comfortable. He says the shoes feel great all day. They look dressy without stuffy.

They are great! My husband works in an office in an industrial business. He needs professional looking, but tough shoes. Plus, they give him the extra support his foot needs. Please continue to carry these; they're the second pair we've bought from you.

Shoes are roomy - After two weeks of use, I find these shoes quite comfortable. The length and width are fine, but I have high arches and had to put in insoles on top of the ones in the shoe.

Nice comfortable blah shoe - I tried several shoes from Zappos before buying the Rockport Northfield. I needed to replace a pair of brown waterproof oxfords I'd beaten over the past several years, and get black instead of brown, as my wardrobe has more than khaki pants these days. They are a nice fit; usually Rockports don't fit me well, and are a simple, conservative look. They look good with jeans and Dockers, and can be worn with dress pants, too. They were comfortable enough to wear as my only shoe on a business trip right out of the box. The Redwing Beacon was comfortable and a nice fit with more "contemporary" styling, but wasn't waterproof. I couldn't get the Hush Puppies Airborn or Dockers Shelter to feel comfortable no matter what size I bought. I'm not a good person to define sizing, as my shoes run from 8-9 and from D-4E width, depending on the shoe.

Perfect fit - This shoe felt perfect right out of the box and can definitely be worn as a casual dress shoe. Great support and comfort matched with excellent customer service provided by Zappos.

Rockport Northfield - First Class Results - I wanted a light, waterproof and comfortable shoe for extensive walking while on holiday in Europe. The Northfield exceeded my expectations. It is a quiet shoe (doesn't squeak on church floors), non-slip sole great on museum floors, and the cushion factor is very good. The sole conforms to the cobblestones found in most central cities. One can add orthodics without any problems (remove the insole). Uppers are essentially maintenance free - it doesn't really take a wax shine too well. It is waterproof up to a couple of inches of water. Goes well in a pair of jeans or khaki pants or in a pinch, dress pants.

Great shoes for a good price! The more I wear 'em, the more comfortable they feel. Looks good, too! Highly recommended.
