I'm an old, big guy whose feet can hurt. I bought these before an extended vacation in Europe where I knew I was going to be walking a lot. Cobblestones, hills, towns, everything. While everything else hurt at the end of the day, my feet felt great. I dont know if its related, but my plantar fasciitis has disappeared since wearing.

The extra wide width is exactly what i was looking for and the style and look made this a perfect choice.

These shoes are very comfortable, simple yet attractive. This is my second pair.

This shoe is similar to an older version waterproof walking except the the front of the shoe is boxier. The sole is softer than the hard rubber type you find with other shoes.

I lbought the only size available, which was too big. I wore them one day and almost returned them. But now I'm glad I didn't. My feet are a little big but so is the comfort! A good company.

For myself, shoes have a very short life span. I wear them alot and I wear them out. The Northfield fits well, wears well, holds up to the variable weather conditions, I experience, and still look good with minimum care. I have several pairs and all the colors and have purchased Northfields more than once and will again.

The first two pairs of Rockports, a black and a tan, have been worn down with daily wear. Replacements arrived in the mail immaculately packaged. They fit well, look great, and are easy to maintain.

The northfield is great in black or brown. Well designed and comfortable. The last forever and look great as a casual-dress shoe.

As a dance instructor and teaching for long hours, this shoe are the most comfortable I have never found.

This is my 6 pair, I go through a pair and as I wear them 24/7 except for the core summer. I love in the winter and in the rain and am able to keep dry feet. THX Rockport!

This is my second pair of the Northfield. The first pair I wore for about 5 years. I am very happy they are still available. Comfortable, water proof, with excellent traction and style.

I walk plenty everday, sometimes miles. I first tried Rockport shoe over 25 years ago. These Northfields have the comfort and casual but nice style perfect for work.

I discovered the Northfield's about 10 years ago, and I've been wearing them ever since. No better combination of style and comfort. You can wear them with a suit or wear them with jeans just as easily. They are so comfortable you could even jog in them!

7 years ago, I bought two pairs of Rockport low quarter black shoes.. I alternated wearing the pairs every week, but eventually, the soles wore out. I kept one pair and had them resoled, but it wasn't the same comfort. So I bought two new pair of the Northfield shoe (plain toe, black, shineable, perfect for the uniform). From day one, I can work a 12 hour day wearing heavy gear (vest & gunbelt) yet still my feet don't hurt! These Rockports are the most comfortably soled shoes I have ever owned! I recommended them to my colleagues every day!
