My husband needs a sturdy yet somewhat dressy shoe. He has to visit factories so he's on his feet all day but still needs to look professional. These shoes give him the cushion and arch support he needs for long days. We've always purchased Rockport due to their comfort and wearability.

My husbands has worn Rockports exclusively for almost 20 years! He has an extremely wide foot and has always found it challenging to find attractive , extra-wide shoes. Rockports have always delivered! Most styles are offered in 4E. My husband puts a lot of miles on his shoes, as he walks approximately 30minutes to and from work 5 days a week. They hold up well!

The shoes look better in real life than they do in the photo. Reasonable for casual dress wear. Needed some breaking-in time. Comfortable, good support.

simple, comfortable and very lightweight... everything I was looking for in do everything dress shoe. I bought both the brown and black and retired all other dress shoes in my closet.

Very comfortable and short break in period. Size seems slightly larger but I am not sure if it is a half size larger.

I've had these for a little over a week now and they were comfortable the first time I put them on. They are a little heavier than my old work shoes, but they aren't super heavy. They are comfortable to walk in and the size is pretty accurate. I'd buy these again.

I've worn this Rockport style for years, much to my wife's anguish, but they are comfortable, look pretty good to me and they FIT right. I have a super wide foot and finding the right show is a challenge. I hope this one has a long life, there is nothing to change or loose.

I owned a pair of these years ago but, then I moved out of the US for a long time and didn't have access to them. Back now and though retired I work 5 afternoons a week in retail, a career I've been in for 50 years. These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn for being on your feet for long hours. If you're on your feet a lot, you can't go wrong.

My husband LOVES these shoes. He wears them everyday to work. True to size. He wears a 14.

I have very wide feet, normally requiring a 9.5 5E size. There are very few shoes in this size, and most of them are clunky. So, I gambled on the Rockport Main Route Northfield Waterproof, in size 10 4E. It fits as well as any shoe that I have bought. It has a tasteful plain style, without the usual ugly elaborations that have become common. The uppers are leather, and the shoe is supple. However, I did notice that the shoes seem warm to wear. This may be due to the waterproofing of the leather, which may hinder breathing. This probably is not a disadvantage in cool or cold weather, but the warmth has been noticeable in the hot summer. The sole is fairly thick and somewhat spongy. This may reduce fatigue in walking, although I have not noticed a difference yet. The shoes do NOT have much arch support, which I appreciate. My feet are flat, and the arch support in some shoes is excessive and uncomfortable.
