Fast Food shoe solution - My son works in a fast food restaurant. The kitchen floors can get greasy, wet and slippery. He has ruined 2 pair of basketball shoes in the past 6 months (which I've paid for), so I ordered him a pair of these rubbers and "encouraged" him to start wearing them at work (no problem if he didn't want to but, I'd start buying all of his shoes in the future at Wal-Mart). He wasn't thrilled about wearing these, but he admits that they grip the kitchen floor rather well and keep the grease, etc. off of his shoes. His boss thinks these are a good solution and is now recommended these to the other kitchen help. We received fast shipping from Zappos. My husband told me to order them 1 size larger so they fit over our sons basketball shoes (he’s been wearing these for years also).

Great Shoe Protection! These are great! I got a pair 6 weeks ago from Zappos. We've gotten a fair amount of snow so far and I've been wearing these a lot. I've walked through snow and salt-laden slush while going to class, my part-time job, the bars or going Christmas shopping. When I get back to the dorm, I just take these off and my expensive athletic shoes are clean and dry underneath. In the past, I've trashed a lot of nice shoes, or went through the hassle of wearing pack boots and carrying another pair of inside shoes along with me. Now I just stretch these over my shoes & go! They are lightweight and easy to get on and off. There have been only a couple of times when the snow has been deeper than these can handle, so I plan to order the 10" high boots next and give those a try. The price of shoes keep going up (along with tuition and everything else), so these have been a great way to save a few dollars, it’s also been nice to not have wet cold feet.

A great way to keep your shoes looking great! Based upon the previous review by the 20 year old college guy (Feb. 05), I decided to order a pair. He was right on both counts. Zappos was awsome to deal with, and I have also discovered that wearing a pair of these makes sense! I've worn them on several rainy days and also during early morning rounds of golf with my friends when the grass is still wet with dew. They work out great! I've also used them when mowing the lawn to keep my nice athletic shoes from turning green from the grass clippings. My dad always wore these, but I didn't consider them too cool at the time. I'm now 28 yrs. old with a wife, family & house payments, etc. I don't have the money to throw away by trashing shoes. I'm sold and recommend that you give them a try! You probably want to go larger than you may expect, if you are trying to wear them with athletic shoes.
