Slipper-comfortable - This shoe has a great look plus the comfort of a slipper... I have worn them in the mountains as well as in the suburbs, and they have a rugged sole that prevents slipping (on snow) as well as a sturdy build to wear indoors to keep the feet dry... More lining would improve the warmth factor. Otherwise, a great fit and cozy feel shoe.

Great boots... I love these boots! I work (heavy, physical labor) all day, no matter what the weather, and have been searching for a pair of waterproof, durable boots that will provide cushioning and comfort for my back and feet. Also, I usually don't have much time, no matter what time of day, so I hate having to stop and lace shoes up. It's wonderful to be able to just pull these on and zip. My only complaint is that they don't have very good traction. I normally wear men's boots as they are usually far more durable, and have been spoiled with the non-slip traction, so these boots were a bit of a disappointment. Other than that they are wonderfully comfortable and I highly recommend them (unless you're working somewhere where it's easy to slip).

Clarks Derby - Great,comfortable boot. Hope it does keep my feet warm when it gets cold. Zappos is a great place to buy shoes.

Clarks--the most comfort for the best price - given 4 (out of 5--just because very few things ever reach the "heavenly" mark!!) stars, these boots are everything I had hoped. I love the styling--very modern and clean, typical Clarks comfort, and they DON'T leak!! Constructed of both leather and rubber, they have figured out something to do with the seams that keeps you dry. they run just a little bit larger (and the toe area is a bit wider) than my other Clarks, but fit great with a pair of medium socks. Great nod to Zappos also--efficiency, quality, and their great guarantee of satisfaction.

These seem very functional & I love Clarks, but they are too masculine for me in style. I felt like Frankenfoot or something. Looked kind of clunky, although comfy. I just felt sloppy in them. Have to return.

Comfortable but weird looking. If you want function over form, go with these. They are comfortable with some good arch support, but they are very strange looking.

Squeaky, but very comfortable - These may be the most comfortable boots I've ever worn. However, they squeak slightly when I walk. It's not noticeable when I'm walking in city traffic, but in the quiet office, you can definitely hear me coming. I'm hoping the squeaking goes away, but it only seems to be getting slightly louder. Sounds like it's the padding in the soles. Because of this, I have to give it 3 stars for overall.

Great but BROKEN ZIPPER??? I love these boots. For a couple of months they were great - comfortable, looked great, etc. But then the zipper started having problems zipping up on the left boot. It finally popped and I had to buy new boots in the middle of a snowstorm here in NYC. I will contact Clarks to see if can get them replaced, but a zipper shouldn't go after 2 months of wear.

Not so durable. I bought these boots last December (2005) wore it through April. Then I pulled out the boots in November 2006 and discovered a big hole in the sole the first week of January 2007. That means I wore the boots for approximately seven to eight months and now there is a hole in one boot. I was so disappointed because I had praised the boots as the best and most comfortable boots I ever owned.

May rub ankles if you have thin ankles - Good quality shoes but they run slightly big. The only complaint I have is that if I am not wearing thick socks they dig at my ankle when I'm driving my car. I think if my ankles were slightly thicker it wouldn't happen.

If you have sensitive shins...these are not boots for you. I had read all the reviews and I was excited to finally find a warm nice looking boot. They are adorable BUT they hit my shins and rub everytime I take a step. Now, I am back to not having boots. I had to send them back.

They are cute, but seem to run 1/2 size too big. Plus, they squeak when you walk in them.

Ankles - Actually I returned this product. Although the quality of the boot is very good, I found it to be a bit too stiff. I don't think I could wear this in my barn doing the chores I have as the stiffness of the boot would defintely hinder me. Maybe if the boot was just a bit lower.

So, sad, can't find a boot. This is a beautiful boot and I love how it looks. However, it is so tight on my foot that it shuts off my circulation. Twelve is the largest size, and I guess it just isn't big enough for me. I have to give it to my daughter who wears a size ten. I have purchased Clark's before and they ran small also.
