I was so excited to discover this shoe at Zappos because I have such problems with my legs, hip and back, and this looked like a stylish way to have the comfort, support, alignment, and shock-absorption I need. WELL, WRONG. If you plan to always wear socks with the shoe and have a very wide foot, this might work for you. FOR ME? Well, I don't wear socks all the time -- in fact, the style of this shoe makes you want to wear it with no socks, but the interior IS SO ROUGH, EVEN AT THE VERY HEEL that it feels like rough sand paper on your foot and heel. The velcro strap on the top can't really be adjusted for narrow feet like some. If you adjust the strap around the back, the sand-paper heel lining is even more painful. Tried this with my orthotics and every way I could think of to adapt the shoe for my foot and body -- but nothing I tried worked. I am very unhappy with Mephisto about this design and lack of narrow shoes. Maybe Mephisto does make a narrow shoe, but Zappos, please carry more good quality, supportive, shock-absorbing shoes with great style. I have seen that they do exist! On this ones, ladies, save your money. Thank God for Zappos return policy and friendly service.

This is my second pair -- I love them and they wear like iron. It took years of wear in all conditions to wear out the first.

I just got back from a two-week European trip and wore these almost every day. They were so comfortable right out of the box. The toe box is nice and roomy and did not aggravate the arthritis in my big toe joint. With multiple ways to customize the fit it felt like the shoes were made just for my feet. They were comfortable yet supportive on numerous walking tours even on cobblestones. The black color went with everything and the style didn't scream old lady walking shoe. This is my third pair of Allrounders (the other two being the Niro style) , and I would definitely buy more in the future.

Comfortable and good walking shoes. Look really great on...I highly recommend these if you are looking for an alternative to tennis shoes that tie or want something more stylish that are still good for the same purpose.

Loved the style and color of the shoes but too small as I ordered 1/2 size smaller as per reviews-also not as much support as I need for my feet. I deal with plantar fasciitis.

I love the allrounders - Niro, Nimbo, News. I own several pairs. Comfort and style. Sure, they are kind of pricey, but they last a long time!

Darling style. Love the venting. Carbon is really a pretty color. Wear a 9. Size was perfect. Just didn't like the puffiness at the sides between my 2 feet. Not enough support there or the cut doesn't seem quite right. If that doesn't bother you, it's a great looking, super comfy shoe.

I was very pleased with these shoes. I initially ordered my regular size and then after reading the company's recommendation, exchanged them for a half size larger which fit well. I found them better for regular walking than my original plan to use them as a more fashionable hiking shoe in Europe.

This is my third pair of Allrounders. These look great and I always get compliments when I wear them. Regarding the fit, they seem less well-fitting as my previous pairs. However, they are AS ALWAYS very comfortable; and you can wear them and walk, walk, walk all day long.

Feels one half size bigger. Heel support rubs my heel and caused redness and a score for the first time I wore it. It is now to late to return as I walked on sidewalk with the shoe.

I have owned a pair of these shoes previously, and always felt the comfort was worth the price. They make great travel shoes because you can walk miles in them, and your feet never hurt. I ordered another pair as my current shoes are getting a bit worn, and as other reviewers have mentioned, the quality has definitely declined. The new pair is not nearly as comfortable or well made. I'm not convinced the current design and quality of this shoe is worth the price.

Nearly all of the time, I wear a 7M. Occasionally, I simply cannot wear particular shoes because my feet are on the wide side of medium but not wide enough for a wides. In a 87M, these shoes were enormous on me - too long and too wide. When I put them on, I literally could see gaps between my feet and the shoes. I have never before in my life had this problem. Style wise, these shoes would be fine for walking; I cannot imagine wearing them for anything else.

I'm not a huge fan of mary-janes for someone my age but needed walking around Europe shoes & these were highly recommended. Since 77% of you said they ran large, I ordered a 1/2 size smaller. NOPE. Too small & too late to reorder. Also the edge of the insole's hard plastic (the "cookie") rubbed and would surely cause blisters. Going back.

I bought these shoes about 4 or 5 years ago and absolutely loved them. They are great to walk in and always so comfortable. I have bunions and other foot issues. Going into the 3rd winter I thought I should replace them with a new pair. I didn't mind spending the money since I felt they were well worth the money. The second pair just didn't have the same great feel to them. They were the exact same size and exact same shoe, but felt short and snug. The inner sole feels stiff. I figured they would loosen up and feel better with wear. I've had them 2 years now and hardly ever wear them. I try them with different socks and just can't make them feel comfortable. I wish I had sent them back but it's too late now.

I took the insole out to put in my orthotic and underneath seems like some sort of cardboard. The insole was very thin and unsupportive. Very poor quality for this price!
