Love, love, LOVE this sandal! I own three pairs of Dansko shoes and these were my first sandals. Because I stand most of the day, I fully expected these to hurt after a few hours, but they didn't! In fact, they are more comfortable to spend long periods of time in than my most comfortable "gym" shoe! So they look a little clunky and not as "girly" as my other shoes...the comfort leaves all others in the dust!

Highly Recommend! I spent 3 weeks in Europe touring throughout Italy and Greece, many days spending 10-12 hours walking around. These sandals were so comfortable! My feet never hurt, nor did I get a single blister. My only mistake was bringing back-up sneakers in case these hurt. I had to lug the sneakers around for 3 weeks and did not wear them once! These are also the best looking comfortable sandals I could find. I never write reviews but feel compelled since these are probably the only shoes I own other than sneakers that don't hurt my feet.

Dansko Lolita - I LOVE DANSKO!!! This shoe can replace your snicker, it's like walking on air, Dansko makes such incredible shoes that you want to go to sleep with them. For those with wide feet this is the sandal for them. This is my 7th pair of Danskos; they last forever, well... almost. It is a lasting investment.

GREAT shoes - I have received many compliments on these shoes, but at the same time, they are incredibly comfortable. You really can walk a long way with these, but they are cute too. Highly recommended, especially if your feet are a little wide like mine.

I have problems finding good support and style. This shoe has it all. I have a wide foot and a high arch. After reading the prior reviews I took a chance and ordered this shoe and it fits just as others have stated. After the first day of wear my feet felt great. Plan to use it on a trip for walking.

The Perfect Sandal - This is the most comfortable shoe I have EVER worn. I have it in 2 colors and I bought a pair for my sister so that she would give mine back to me. I initially bought this shoe because it is so cute; now I'm surprised at all the compliments I get because it has become all about the comfort for me. I feel a foot taller wearing them and feel that I can bounce all over this crazy city!!!

The greatest sandal - I already had 3 other pairs of this shoe in different colors that I have collected over the seasons they've been available. I was happy to see and purchase 2 more different colors. The reason for such a dedicated investment? These Danskos have a great wide foot bed, lots of arch support, and a comfortable sole that takes me far from the ground (great shock absorption!). They are great with slacks, shorts, skirts, and dresses. I love them.

Terrific - I have another pair of shoes, this brand, this style, different color. I love the shoe and will most likely be adding other colors to my collection. I am 65 years old and value comfort highly at this time of my life. Dansko is high-quality, excellent fit, and real comfort. Thank you.

Great shoe - I love the Dansko Lolita. Very well-made and extremely comfortable shoe. Could use more arch support for people who pronate. Some of the other sandals have better arch support.

Two pair of Dansko Lolita - Last year 2005 I bought a pair of Lolita shoes at Nordstrom. They were so comfortable that I wore them all the time. This year when I went to Nordstrom to buy another pair they did carry them but only in black and green. I wanted tan. When I checked out your website and saw that they were available in denim also I decided to get two pair.

As good as Dansko always is - Dansko has worked well for me - uniformly - and this shoe is no exception. I like the way I feel securely anchored inside it - you've got strappiness but aren't sliding all over the place inside the shoe.

Very satisfied - This was my first order through Zappos and my first pair of Dansko's. I've been a victim of fashion for years and my feet have suffered through many pairs of "cute", but very uncomfortable shoes. These shoes are a lifesaver. They are extremely comfortable, stylish, and great quality (the leather they used on the footbed is incredibly soft). As for sizing, I was afraid they would fit a little too big since I have narrow feet. Also, I did not order a size down as suggested on the website. I am normally a 7.5 or 8 (mostly 8). I ordered a 38 and they fit perfectly! Also, I am very fair skinned and didn't want to order a darker color. So I ordered the Honey and the color looks great! It matches virtually everything in my closet. My experience with Zappos exceeded all of my expectations. I received my shoes in 4 days, and they honored their price protection policy when I found the shoes on sale elsewhere. The customer service over the phone was quick, friendly, and helpful. What more can you ask for? Would highly recommend both these sandals and ordering through Zappos! One more thing, I was reluctant about the price (I've never spent this much on a shoe before!), but from what I can tell, they are worth the price.

Soooo Comfortable! I have recently developed plantar fasciitis and these are the only shoes I can wear. I have a slightly wide foot and a regular arch--there is just enough arch support with some cushioning that makes these extremely comfortable. I am used to heels and pointy toes, so I gave the shoe a 3 rating for looks, but in the world of comfort shoes, they are definitely acceptable. I am a size 5.5 to 6 and these are a little roomy. I slip my foot in with out undoing the buckle and they feel a little roomier then a closed shoe Dansko in the Golden Gate line.

Comfort & Durability - Title says it all. I got a pair in black 2 years ago and recently purchased "camel"...the most comfortable shoe I own, even used it "lite" hiking.

Best sandal ever! Curious about a color issue - I was concerned that the Lolitas I ordered would be too small since I normally wear a 39 in Dansko and I had to order a 38. I wanted the Apple color and it was sold out in 39. When I first put on the shoe it was too tight across my toes. But the leather was so supple that I figured they may conform well to my feet. Within just one afternoon of wearing them around the house they have already broken in perfectly. I would agree with those who say to err on the smaller size if you are between sizes as the leather is so soft and the shoes break in really well. The only slight issue I have with the shoes is that they arrived not as a completely solid apple green color as in the photos but with a bit of black "smudginess" in some areas. I can't tell if this is part of a distressed look which is part of the design or if something rubbed off onto the shoes before they were sent to me. I wonder what others with the apple color have noticed.

Finally- a comfy cute shoe! After several failed attempts, I have found the perfect shoe! These are perfect- comfortable, you can hike in them, but they are still stylish. I'm getting more...

This is a great looking shoe and is designed well. Unfortunately, I had to return it for a larger size b/c I have a very high arch and also hammer toes which require a bit more room than my regular size in this style was giving me. I do recommend this shoe both for comfort and style and, as always, give Zappos service five stars.

Wonderful in México - I bought these shoes in black for a month-long trip to México. I did have a problem with the strap irritating my little toe, but I had a cobbler move the strap and everything was fine. The shoes took about 3 or 4 days of all-day walking to really break in, but they were great! I wore them all over Mexico. I climbed ruins in them, walked through rain, grass and dirt (the shoes clean easily with water), over rocks, ran to catch a bus, and even wore them with nice pants to go out. They were amazing and worth every penny. I am the only person on our trip that did not have serious back, leg, or foot pain, because these shoes were so supportive! The only thing that bothered me was that the leather stretches, and so the shoes are now a little loose on top. I think that during my month-long trip I seriously abused these shoes and probably put several months' worth of wear on them, so I am not too upset. I HIGHLY recommend them!

The Perfect Summer Shoe - I have MS and a heel spur and these are the only shoes that I can walk in comfortably. I have 3 pairs. They support the foot well and my feet do not get tired at the end of the day. I highly recommend them. They also come in any color you could want. And they look great!

This is my second pair of Dansko Lolita. It's so comfortable AND pretty.

Best sandals ever! I love these sandals. I have severe osteoarthritis in my ankle and need lots of support, and I was worried wouldn't be able to wear sandals, or that I'd have to buy something ugly and clunky-looking. Dansko came to my rescue; I've walked over two miles at a time in these and it feels like I'm stepping on cushions.

I liked these so much in salsa that I bought them in black too. Incredibly comfortable. I agree with the other poster that the leather on the black feels different. After walking for a few miles in these, I did get a little blister where the strap hits the toe. Nothing bad though. The black didn't bleed on my pair like someone else said.

China with Lolita - I just returned from three weeks in China and cannot begin to tell you how well my feet did with the help of my Lolita's! I took two other pairs of shoes and wore one pair exactly one day because I just needed the support and comfort of these sandals. I was concerned that the straps wouldn't be strong enough to keep my foot in place while I climbed the Great Wall and wandered around the Potala Palace in Tibet but these shoes were the BEST! I'm NEVER traveling with any shoe but a DANSKO!

Great walking sandals! Wore these shoes nearly everyday for 2 weeks in Italy and my feet never hurt once! (Only had to change shoes once due to rain). They are very cute and I always get complimented on them! Can't wait to get them in another color!

Dansko Lolita - My orthopedist recommended this shoe. It is extremely comfortable, gives excellent support and even my daughters thought it looked great. I normally wear a 9 and needed to go up a size 41.
