I bought these for my husband based on previous experience with these slippers. We both had a pair for several years that we loved and wore around the house all the time. Very warm and comfy, but they allowed your feet to breath so you could wear them in milder temperatures too. When our old ones finally wore out, I bought replacements for both of us. Unfortunately, they don't seem to be made as well or the same as they used to. After wearing these for less than 3 months, the fleece lining on one of the heels of my husband's slippers has completely worn through to the insole, leaving a big smooth hole. As for my slippers (women's version), the fleece lining felt very scratchy and rough against my skin and I couldn't wear them, so they were returned. The fleece on my older pair that I still have feels more fluffy, soft, and thicker. Very disappointing considering the price and our previous experience.

Incredibly Uncomfortable!

Unfortunately they're being returned. The width was just OK, kind of tight in the toe/lower foot area based upon how they're made. Definitely didn't feel like a 12 in length ... could barely get my foot in.

I have been wearing Old Friend bootees for years and have gone through many pairs. However on this latest pair of my usual size 14, the opening was so short I could not get my foot into them. The cut of the upper of the Chestnut II was not right. Then I noticed that the maunfacturing source had also changed: this new pair was made in the Dominican Republic. Previous pairs had been made in China. Also, as noted in other reviews, after about a year of use the plastic rim of the sole will start to disintegrate and detach from the upper.

Too short and your 5EEE was way too narrow.

I have had 2 pairs and one of them was from Zappos in the actual size of 12 5E and just loved them and have been looking for another pair for the last year and a half with no luck. But Zappos advertised these as being 12 5E and they were not even close felt like size 11 and there 5E Extra -Wide is only a 3E so I had to send them back which went very smoothly

Bought these for my Dad who has a10 1/2 EE foot. These were billed as being 5E but he couldn’t even get it in his foot. If you need a wide with this is not for you

way too narrow

I'm sure others have had a great experience with these, I have not. The quality seems cheap, the "sheepskin" is not as thick as others I have purchased. These slippers fit well out of the box, but in weeks are too big to wear. I cannot wear hem at all and ts probably been 6 weeks. Probably the worst pair of shoes/slippers I have ever purchased.
