These shoes are very squeaky when you walk, probably has something to do with the rubber soles but still, they're pretty loud. Every pair I've tried squeak.

I have a swollen ankle several months after sprang healed badly. Looking for ankle support and remembered LOVING these back in the day. The leather is soft, but not the buttery softness of yeast Ed year. They are narrow where my foot looks like it’s being squeezed out the sides, but as leather is soft, just comfortable enough to keep. I’m sure the leather will stretch/conform after a few wears. Ankle support is snug since mine are swollen. Overall glad I purchased, but if your foot leans towards wide size, forget about it.

The shoe is well made and beautiful but. I ordered an 8 and it's a 7 at best. Had to send them back. On line sales not good. After Covid shopping closers I got them in a 9 , little tight but I love them.

needed these after i had broken my foot, so acting as the next stage in my recovery after removing the medical boot. makes walking a lot easier - hopefully will be back in my normal shoe wear soon!

These are a classic! My mother used to buy them over and over again back in the day. They still look great and stylish and are comfy overall, but felt a bit narrow, so a half a size up felt more comfortable to me. I also love that they are a high top but don’t look too chunky.
