I love the classic 80s style of these Reebok high tops. I swear I had the exact same pair in my childhood. The fit is very weird, though. I first ordered my normal size 7.5 and they were so tight I couldn't even get my foot in let alone tie the laces or secure the velcro. So I ordered up to a size 8 and while the width is better, they are just slightly too long. I decided to keep them because they are very cute and nostalgic, but I keep tripping in them due to the extra length. They are also not very breathable. If they were made in a normal or wide width (which is weird because I'm actually quite narrow) I think they would be perfect.

Beautiful simple design with these shoes, but they are extremely narrow. Wide feet/feet with bunions will be uncomfortable in these. I have very narrow and small feet, and found these to be tight.

Too narrow, need wide sizes - These are very nice looking black sneakers, very soft, but Reebok really needs to make them in a wide size option as these super narrow. A little more arch support would be good too.

They are just so narrow!!! When I was young I wore this style exclusively. As a middle aged woman who walks 20 - 25 miles a week I guess my foot has spread out because when I tried to wear these again I found that they were unbelievably narrow. I would not dream of putting my seemingly normal foot into these shoes. I wonder why Reebok can not make them in a wide, and I mean way wider, width? I like Reeboks primarily because they have a low profile heel. Most walking and running shoes have a big thick heel and it causes the foot to jam forward into the front of the shoe. I don't understand the reasoning behind the tendency. Why would a foot, built by nature to be flat, need to have its heel raised way up off the ground? If for cushioning then make the entire sole thick, not just the heel!! Also I love the garment soft leather upper on many Reeboks.

A Nice Shoe - I do own two pairs of the white Freestyle Hi shoe. One features the Reebok name in silver. The one in light blue. I've also owned pairs of the white Freestyle Lo as well. I find the Freestyle Hi to be a nice shoe. It has a simplistic, yet appealing style and is comfortable to wear. Like the Freestyle Lo, it is appropriate to wear them for any activity such as tennis or walking. I've worn the pair with the silver name most often when playing tennis. It has helped me run faster on the court in chasing the tennis ball. Its comfort has also benefited my concentration in playing the sport. I like the appearance of the Freestyle Hi with the light blue name. It is also appealing. I'm not fond of the velcro. My shoelaces, at times, stuck to the velcro, which marred the appearance of the lace. Whether it's wearing the Freestyle Hi or Lo, one has to keep an eye on the shoestrings. They can untie easily. Even if they're tied, parts of the lace can drag on the ground since the laces on many pairs of the Freestyle Hi and Lo are long. Another drawback of the Freestyle Hi is that the Reebok silver name can be diminished once it's been worn many times. I think wearing this shoe is perfect to wear with summer clothing as such a T-shirt and shorts. But I don't think it necessarily looks great with long pants because the hi-top part is covered up. The Freestyle Lo looks good with both shorts and long pants. The Reebok Freestyle Hi is a nice shoe with its share of flaws.

Ordered shoes on the 19th of March. It is now 29 March. Still have not received them and have no indication that they have been shipped. Very disappointing.

These were a nice model however, they were incredibly narrow.

I always wear a medium width and can sometimes wear a narrow width. However, these shoes were too tight in the toe area and I was not convinced a 1/2 size larger would have been any better. Needless to say, the shoes were returned.

Disappointment isn't strong enough for how I felt. I've been wearing this style of Reebok shoe for as long as they've been making them. In fact my first pair I had to order from another state because they didn't carry them in the town & state I live in. I've been shopping with Zappos for at least 7 years and have been happy with everything I ever bought. I even buy my best friend a new pair of shoes each year as well. Well, finally they got my size; in white, in Reebok Freestyle Hi. As soon as I got it in and tried it on and made sure it fit I got back on-line and ordered me another pair just like them. When you wear Ladies size 12 it's hard to find shoes you like. Within two weeks my first pair of Reeboks started falling apart. Yes, I should have written this note back then but, since I threw away my old shoes this left me with only 2 pair of shoes. One to wear everyday around the yard and house and one to wear for doctor appointments and infrequent outings. I thought I could deal with the sole being a little loose ... before I knew it the entire shoe is just barely hanging together. I've never had this happen with a Reebok shoe before. When I read the Zappos return policy, and they said as long as the shoe in is returned in the same condition they were received, well, I figured Zappos wouldn't replace them because they were falling apart and stained with Alabama red dirt. So, wear your shoes inside the house for 2 or 3 weeks, on carpet before you start wearing them outside, other wise you can't return them if they look like they've been worn. I'm not exaggerating about this either. Living on a fixed income I'm wearing the shoes that are falling apart and hoping that if I walk gently when I wear the other pair they won't fall apart too. My best friend is living on a fixed income even less than me; that's why I buy her a pair each year.
