I was on the hunt for purple sneakers and these are perfect. A little bit of height, comfy, stylish. I've gotten tons of compliments on them.

I used to wear these "aerobic" hi-tops when I was in HS and college in the 80's and ALWAYS loved them. I was happy to find them again, after Foot ORS told me to start wearing something w a little more ankle support. These still fit GREAT! A PERFECT fit for a slim/reg foot. (if you have fat/wide feet, these are NOT for you!) I find the area in the ankle/heel slips a bit, but I am still wearing them around house to determine fit. I have removed the thin lining insert as it didnt have arch support, and replaced w my own dr recommended Orthotic and they fit PERFECT!. I did order a size larger than normal. I usually wear an 11, but ordered the 12M. to accommodate my insert and because many complained they ran small. I dont think they really do. I think they are true to size and width, but if your adding an orthotic like me, then I would size up to accommodate. The feel nice soft leather material. Not the REAL stuff from the 80's but what is! I think these will be a very nice addition to my everyday sneaker attire to incorporate a little ankle protection. LOVE that I can adjust the ankle velcro straps. Just wish the laces were a bit longer.( seems very short) but that's an easy fix too! Give them a try! esp if you have a narrow foot like me! you will LOVE them!
