The shoe is definitely worth its price tag. It is everything they says it is. It has great support for your arch and cushion for your heels. I love the toe protection. The grip these shoes have on wet/slippery terrain is amazing and they dry super quick. I have wide feet so when I first tried them on they felt a bit tight and rubbed one of my pinkie toes. After I loosened the lock laces and wore them a few days I have had no problems with them at all. They do keep your feet nice and dry even from sweat in 90+ degree weather, however, this past summer in NYC we had a heat wave and temperatures reached over 100 and up to 110 in the subway. No matter how much foot powder I used and how many times I washed my feet these shoes became so funky that I was embarrassed by my own feet. It was not just the fabric part that had begun to stink but the inside rubber sole. So I put them in a net bag and tossed them in the wash. Hung them to dry and they were like new, they wash well. No more problems! After the heat wave the odor never came back. So watch out for extreme temperatures.

These shoes are absolutely amazing! I got the same pair for my hubby and he had them for a couple of weeks before me and kept raving about them. We moved to Hawaii so I knew that I would need more breathable shoes for hiking and these sure fulfilled that need. We hiked Diamond Head with these shoes and they were great. No slipping at all! Would recommend these to anyone.

These were comfortable with and without little socks. Became my one shoe to wear on vacation in Arizona. Used immediately and never felt anything but comfort.

You won't find a better river/water shoe than this. I have had Keens for years and that last and last.

This is my second pair of these awesome sandals. My first pair is still going strong after about 5 years, but I am using the old ones for working. And so I thought I would splurge and get a new pair for when I want to look nicer. These are the same quality, fit, and comfort level. I love them! I really like the new colors and hope to have these shoes for a long time to come. I am so happy with Zappos’ customer service and friendliness. I love that I speak to a real person when I call. I buy all my shoes from them now.

First off, I do love my Keens, they are very comfortable. Unlike other reviewers, I usually take a 7.5 or 8, and a 7.5 worked great for me. My gripe is with the quality. I do wear mine often, and within 3 months the stitching around the back (near the Keen name) came undone, and the material is deteriorating. I contacted Keen through their warranty link on their website, and they have given me complete credit for purchasing any new pair of Keens (a good value). So, kudos to Keen. I can keep the current pair too. So, I took my Newports (H2)down to a local store that does repairs, and they restitched them for me. There is nothing they can do about the inside material without making them uncomfortable for my foot, but at least they will last a little while longer. So, my quest now is to figure out which shoe to order from Keen. But, I am impressed with them in standing behind their product. Hopefully, they will fix the quality issue for these sandals in the future.

I bought this Keen N.H2 to replace a similar pair in leather I had for many years - at least 10 years and in fact probably more! I had used them in sea water, to bike, to hike, to garden, and more. My new pair was a huge disappointment because of a huge drop in quality. I wore the new pair one day for a total of 6.6 miles in Zion Park were most of the trails were paved. At the end of the day the light color rubber along the sole had numerous cracks by the heel, the gluing of the inner sole to the outer band was giving way also along the heel sections, and the suede tongue stitched on the ankle collar of the right foot became undone with thread billowing. Other small details showed very poor workmanship. I am terribly disappointed with Keen.

So far, so good. I tried these shoes on and wore them around the house a few minutes as soon as they arrived. Very comfy. The first time I really wore them anywhere, I wore them all day and I must say, still comfy! Have not had the opportunity to test them out in water, which is why I really bought them, but I think they'll do the transition from land to water just fine. Mine ran true to size. They are a little tight getting on over the heel. Overall - Very pleased and would recommend.

These are my favorite of Keen's sandals. I have tried the Venice (the more open design is too floppy on me)and Whisper (cut more narrow so it now hurts my bunion). This is my 3rd pair of Newports. I think you just have to find the Keen which conforms to your foot most comfortably because the insole is quite firm and it's not going to mold to your foot like a soft leather shoe. Also, many reviews say that Keens run so short now, but the size 9 I tried for my 2nd pair is really too long; the 8 & 1/2 (my normal street shoe size) fits perfectly -- a little snug on my longer foot, but totally fine. My first pair is still going strong after 4 years, many hand washes, much gardening and trekking all over. Great sandal!

I bought these in the bright green color and I love them! I bought them for walking/hiking during the hot mid-Atlantic summer months and they have not disappointed me. They are extremely comfortable and as a pregnant woman, I really appreciate the adjustable width! They are totally worth the price.

Based on reviews I purchased half a size larger to accommodate my 8W foot, one which has tailor's bunion. My goal was to find sandals that protects my toes, can get wet and are comfortable. I wore these for two weeks prior to vacation in San Diego, all seemed fine. After full two days at parks,my feet got very tired and I had sore pinky toes from rubbing. I switched to my Earth flip-flops for a day. Keeping Keens since worn outside. I hope the fit gets better with time.

I have been looking for the perfect shoe for, literally, years. I wanted something I could do everything from run errands to kayaking, and this shoe is it! I purchased the Keen Newport H2. My husband bought a pair of Keen's from a retailer, and he fell in love with them. He insisted I order some. I took his word, so thankful I did! Hands down the most comfortable shoe I've ever had. Just wore them on our camping trip...perfect shoe. They are so light and airy, yet you feel like you can take on ANYTHING in them-- hiking, riverbeds, kayaking, and sidewalks. They really protect your feet. I am just so impressed. The color is exactly what you see on the screen. I researched A LOT before finding these and the size was true to fit for me. I just had two babies, so my feet got wider, but the strap on the top lets you adjust the fit custom to your foot. I also need to say Zappos was awesome. I ordered them on a Monday and they were here the very next Wednesday. Perfect experience. You can go anywhere in these shoes! You will love them!

I listened to the other reviewers and ordered a half size larger. They fit perfectly. My family went for a 2-week vacation (first time longer than 4 days) of hiking in the mountains. We hiked 4 hours a day. We were in and out of streams and water. I had bought my whole family a pair of Keens. My husband was mad at me for spending so much on shoes for all of us. We just don't do that. But we could not have done the hiking if it weren't for these shoes. They were comfortable, didn't slide around, didn't slip...they dried out of the water. They were wonderful. All of my kids loved them, even my 2 teenaged daughters who would never not wear a "cute" shoe. They actually said their Keens were cute on. They got the multi-colored other Keens. Anyway, I am glad I bought them and that's saying a lot because we don't have money to blow. A friend invited us on this vacation or we would not have been able to afford it.

Broken hearted! I bought these based on the high recommendations and was sorely (literally) disappointed. I have tried wearing them 3 times on water/land treks and they have given me a horrible blister on both feet where the arch of my foot hits the strap. I tried carrying extra moleskin and even wrapping the strap, nothing helps, these are unwearable for me even though I have a narrow foot. Does anyone have any suggestions of another good shoe for that kind of trekking?

I love these shoes as well as Zappos. It is amazing how fast the shoes get delivered. These shoes are extremely comfortable and versitle. I wore them hiking, camping, and in the ocean. They machine wash very well too.

First, thank you Zappos for the overnight shipping! This is a great company. These sandals are rugged and comfortable. I wore them on a trip to Taiwan which included a lot of walking and never had a moment's pain from my feet. They are a little warm, but I did not encounter any of the burning soles that other reviewers have mentioned.

Great shoe. A bit too narrow for my wide foot. I will choose a sandal with different strap placement on my next pair.

Needed shoes for rugged rainy mountain hiking - these got the job done. They are heavy and sturdy and therefore also a little hot.

This is my 4th pair of Keen sandals. The Newport H2 is very comfortable and I like how easy it is to walk in. I have a slightly wider foot, but not enough for a wide shoe size. The Newport H2 fits great and does not feel too tight. I did get a blister from them on an odd spot. The top of my foot, from the cut out part of the sandal, but that was the day I wore them for about ten hours. I often have heel pain, but these sandals do not hurt and give my foot great support. Love them so much that my toddler and husband also have pairs! I purchased the slate black color and they are not black, but dark brown with light blue trim. I love the color, but if you want black, they are not! I ordered half a size up and they fit well.

Love these shoes! I wear them every day to work and never have tired or sore feet. Ever. They are super ventilated to stay cool.

No arch support (I was at least expecting better arch support than my flip flops being that this shoes was rated excellent arch). I love the look and style, but no arch support made my feet ache. Hike up the arch and I would love to buy the improved pair. Thank you Zappos for free shipping and returns!

The Newport was exactly what I was looking for. The toe has substantial protection for the river bed I play in. The size was a perfect fit. I have a difficult time finding a 10.5 and was happy to find it a perfect fit.
