I purchased these sandals to wear for wet landings in the Galapagos where I could do hikes wearing the same shoes. They performed and fit flawlessly. I love the adjustable, quick release/tightener toggle, works great. My only complaint at the time, is they take forever to dry,the top straps should be made of a better quick dry material, my straps were still very wet 24 hours after removing them. Once on a short hike,when they were wet, I did get a blister on the ball of my foot but otherwise they were very comfy to wear, decent arch support too. But my HUGE complaint is the entire sole of both sandals peeled completely off while on an 8 mile hike on a dirt & rocky trail, crossing a creek twice outside Yelapa, MX. Luckily these sandals have a 2nd soft sole so I was able to get back still wearing what was left of my sandals. I've owned these sandals for about 6 years but have worn them on just a few float trips over this period of time, so there is no way the soles should have fallen off! I'm calling Keen to get my money back, soles peeling off should not have happened, especially with such little wear! FYI, I own other Keens and they all have held up very well. Hopefully this pair are lemons.

I love these shoes! This is my second pair of Keen Newport H2s. My first pair lasted five years until the black part of the sole came off, rendering them unwearable. All the reviewers who suggested sizing up are absolutely right. At first I ordered an 8, same size as my last pair, but the straps were rubbing against my pinkies and giving me blisters. I couldn't understand it -- I'd never had such a problem with Keens before! Then I read the reviews and returned the shoes for an 8.5, and all is right in the universe. These sandals are super-comfortable for all-day walking, they dry fast if you get them wet, and they are very cute (in my opinion). The red color add an extra kick.

This is Keen at it's best! I do a lot of dog walking, not just on paved roads, but on gravel. These sandals - more like little miracles - are the most stable of anything I've ever owned. Not so feminine, but REALLY do the job. Worth the $ - wish I could afford a few more pairs.

Great shoes! Comfortable from the first time I put them on. The design allows for plenty of toe room while still fitting snugly at the heel. This is my third pair, and they are my "go to" shoes for summer. Good for walking and light hiking, good for water activities. Durable.

These keens rock- in look and in function. I was blown away by how great the grey looks w the coral-orangish color- and they fit perfectly! but the functionality.... that's where it's at dude. i hiked three days with these in Canaan Valley, WV- blackwater falls, the Dolly Sods, and seneca rocks. Never an issue any of the days. the Dolly Sods north and wilderness had us trekking through six inches of wet mud at times, crossing creeks, and tons of rocks- none were ever an issue with these Keens! They did not let me down!

The shoes are really nice and very light weight, and they would be perfect except my right ankle bone touches the strap so they won't work for me. I purchased and returned four pairs of the Keen Whisper sandals, and the quality of those were much poorer than the H2. I would highly recommend the H2 over the Whisper. I think the problem of the way they fit me is unique to my foot and most people wouldn't have this problem, so I'd highly recommend the shoes. The light green color is also very pretty and versatile.

I finally had to replace my original Keen Venice sandals after several years of kayaking, canoeing, fishing and hiking. I really liked the look of the new Newport H2s and ordered a pair in my usual Keen size (9.5) when they arrived the Newports fit about a half size narrower and shorter than I was expecting. One quick and pleasant call to Zappos customer service and a pair of size 10s were on there way to me. The 10s fit perfectly, so I would recommend sizing up a half size. Other than that the sandals have the same great Keen workmanship I was looking for.

Good support but the forefoot is really wide and I could not get it tight enough to keep my foot from sliding forward. My feet are on the narrow side but not really all that narrow.

I received my shoes very timely and they fit my narrow feet perfectly. I do have one 8 1/2 and one 9 foot and fit me well anyway. I ordered size 9 and according to other reviews I felt 9 was my right size.A bit cramped in my larger foot but with give and break in period I think they will be just fine.

Very comfortable. I wear a size 7-7.5 in Keens. Ordered these as size 8. Perfect fit.

Love these shoes. Keens fit my feet so well that I can wear for extended periods upon receiving without getting blisters or feeling discomfort.

I had a pair of knock off Keen's that I loved, but can no longer find. So my quest was on to find a pair of Keen's that would work for me. I tried the Whisper on in several sizes and could not find a perfect fit - my heel always hung over the back just a bit or they were too big. So I decided to check out the Newport. These are amazing. They fit perfectly and are really heavy duty. The whisper's are light and slender on the foot which is nice for every day wear, but the Newport are rugged and ready for trail hiking.

I read the reviews, many of which said to order 1/2 size up because these fit small. I did not find this to be the case - my regular size fit fine. These are well made and very comfortable shoes. A great buy!

I've been a Keen customer for many years. I bought this pair for a summer trip via rail and motorcoach. Even though I have plantar fascitis and custom othotics, the built in arch support in these sandals makes wearing my orthotics unnecessary. They're stylish, while protecting the toe and the heel strap provides good support for walking.

I guess I have low ankle bones, because the straps on these hit my ankle bone it a way that would create blisters very quickly. Too bad because the colors were very nice and the footbed felt like it would be very comfortable.

The Keen Venice H2O didn't have enough arch support to me. I emailed Keen to find out what their most supportive H2O sandal is. It is the Newport. I found the arch support to be superb. The sandal is very comfortable despite a bunion on one foot.

Great shoe! These were very comfortable straight out of the box. If your looking for something to live in this summer, you won't go wrong with these.

I previously owned Whisper, but found that the triangular strap openings did not work for my feet, which have tailor's bunions on the outside. Newport is sturdier, but with the same light feel and wide toe box, and its straps comfortably hold my feet. And I love the neutral gray with the cranberry accents!

Just like the first pair of Keen's I bought many years ago, which I still have because they last forever. Only, in very cool colors. Wait 'til you see the soles!

I have had these for a few weeks and just took them on a long walking vacation, without any blisters or other hotspots appearing on my feet. I am a 9.5 and the 9.5 did fit, but my toes felt squished and the baby toe kept peeking out of the straps, which was annoying. I went up to a 10, and the toe issue went away, but the arch support feels a bit off, which was not a problem with the 9.5. Nonetheless, these shoes fill a very specific summer need. I think they are ugly in that "so ugly they are cute again" way, but I do wish they had these in just plain purple. I will probably get a second pair at some point just for variety's sake. As always, Zappos was a joy to work with as I experimented with sizes.

I found this shoe to have great arch support and was very comfortable. After reading reviews to order a half size larger; I did go up a half size and I was very happy with that choice.

Super-comfy, these are. I didn't realize until I had them on a while that one of my little toes hits in an unfortunate spot and will rub against one of the strap-like pieces, trying to stick into a gap. But I sewed a little thing on there until my foot's trained the shoe to love my feet all around. Anyhow, geez kinda rambly today ain't I, they are VERY comfy and sturdy and I'm so glad I bought 'em. Plus I think they're cute.

I bought this shoe for working outdoors, specifically in my garden. I have had problems with plantar facsciitis and need shoes with solid arch support. This shoe is waterproof and has great support. I had heard that it might run a 1/2 size short, and it does. I ordered a size 7 and a 7 1/2. The arch fit perfectly in the 7 1/2. I returned the 7. Thank you Zappos for allowing me to do that! This shoe is very solid and stable. I am giving it 5 stars.

These are great shoes for me. I have wide feet and these have a wide foot bed. I was sized for them at the Keen Garage in Portland and was told to get a size 8, a full size bigger than I normally wear. They fit well.
