Bought these to replace a pair of 15 year old Keens that still look pretty good, but was afraid the soles would not perform correctly on slippery rocks on an up-coming river rafting trip. Will take the old ones for back-up. From the minute I put them on, I could tell they would be perfect. They fit just like my old ones! No break-in required. I wear a 8 AAA with a 5A heel in most shoes. I have high arches. These Newport H2 in size 8 fit great. I adjusted the the elastic so that it was comfortable and my foot didn’t slide around when I walked. I am able to “slip” them on without loosening the elastic: I put my toes in, push my foot forward, and then use two fingers in the back “like a shoe horn” to slide my foot into place. Perfecto! I’m ready for the adventures ahead.

Kind of a clunky shoe, but gets the job done--a rugged sandal suitable for hikes where water might be involved, with toe protection for those inevitable clumsy moments.

Fit and size are perfect. I bought these as my former Keen's — purchased in 1998 and well used — finally wore out. I just wore them on a multi-day canoe trip through Labyrinth Canyon in Utah ... so was constantly in & out of the silty river water. These shoes are the bomb for such activities. And ... for hiking as well as general around town wear. Excellent value.

I haven’t had a new pair of Keen sandals in years. They last forever for me. These have a nice cushion to them and the arch support works very well for my feet. My feet are wide and this shoe fits great. The laces are adjustable which compensates for my different size feet. I am very pleased with them.

This has always been my go to pair of sandals. Unfortunately I had ankle surgery and can no longer wear these because they sit on top of my hardware. I am so bummed. I really liked how this pair looked.

Been wearing Keen shoes for 15yrs

Great walking shoes! They provide good support and I enjoy wearing them. My only concern is that small rock bits seem to find their way into the shoes while walking and there are times I have to stop / remove / clear rocks out before returning to walking. I walk an average of 5 miles / day and the shoes have held up really well.

I bought this Newport H2 and the Hydro in 7.5.... the Newport is definitely larger than the Hydro. The Newport gives me more room in the forefoot area than the Hydro does which is significantly much narrower and way too tight over all in the same size, I couldn't walk in the Hydro at all. The colour in this Newport H2 is quite cute and fun to tromp around in them. I've had 3 pairs of Newport H2 before, this is the first time I broke out of the tradition with "solid colour" and opted for something different and fun for a change this summer. One thing though, I wish KEEN would start offering "wide" width sandals, it's been over a decade since I bought my first Newport and still won't consider making them.

Was too stiff for me. I exchanged them for the Whispers and like them better.

I love these shoes and am planning to order another pair in the near future. I wear them w/socks sometimes and they still feel great. They are true to size, but I may have a metatarsal patch put in them for added comfort of my diabetic feet.

Amazing shoes. I’ve had my second pair for 5 years now. First pair also lasted about 5 years. I wear these dog walking. Very comfortable. Excellent for wide feet. The only thing is they are a bit clunky so they’re not fashionable or cute. And I have learned the hard way that these soles are not good for gravel. They don’t stick. I’ve slipped twice and fallen and really bruised / hurt myself. So don’t wear these hiking on gravel paths, esp downward slopes. Bad news.

I really like the support and stability of these sandals. They hug my ankle so well that I actually need a shoehorn to get them on, but I like that, the fabric is very comfortable all around. They do look a bit wide even though I purchased the Medium width. I love the arch support and toe protection, which does not protrude too high. Very happy with these after wearing my previous Keens for years.

Fits perfectly and very comfortable. This is my 6th pair of Keen’s in this style.

I love the contrast of colors of my keen newport

Ordered these for an upcoming vacation. When I tried them on they seemed to fit just a bit to tight. If they had a little more stretch on the side bands I probably would have kept them, but was worried about rubbing my foot wrong in a few spots.

Protection of a shoe, breaths like a sandal, love them

This is my 2nd pair of Newports, the first I purchased at least 10 yrs ago and they were leather. No leather ones are available for women, so I took a chance, as my others are so comfortable. This new pair of Newport H2 are perfect and just as comfortable as my original 10 yr old Newports! I opened the box, put them on and wore them out of the house immediately, as they felt just like my old Newports! Thank goodness! I would highly recommend these shoes to anyone, but if you need a good arch in a rugged but good looking sandal, these are the ones!

I am on my 3rd pair of Newport H2. I had ordered the Keen Rose, but found they were too wide for my feet in the toe area. Zappos is so awesome with returns, that they had UPS pick up right at my door, they even provided the shipping label. I exchanged the Rose for the Newport H2, and am so glad I did. I can tell you these are the most comfortable and stable sandals I have ever owned. Always order these 1/2 size up.

Bought these for a rigorous water hike, they were perfect! Comfortable right out of the box! Great traction and they don’t hold onto any water. Highly recommend!

I just purchased my second pair of Newport H2 in the teal/vapor color. I ordered a half size up as usual. What I like about the Newport H2, is the substantial sole of the sandal. I don’t like feeling the pavement when I walk. These are very stable and supportive. The H2 has more support than the Whisper. I highly recommend. They are worth the cost.

This is the 6th pair of Keens I’ve purchased and I LOVE them! I teach so they are excellent shoes for standing and walking. I wear them constantly!!

I usually wear a 71/2 street shoe and an 8 in running shoes. Judging from the reviews, I ordered an 8.5. They were too big. I got the 8 and they are perfect. I love the fit and they are so comfortable. I ordered a pair for my husband; he wears an 11 1/2 running shoe, so I got that size for him, and they too are a perfect fit.

These are amazing. Very comfortable and adjustable. Such a great shoe for warm weather hiking and walking through water.

These were a little tight, more than I remember my last pair being when they were brand new. I tried up a size, but they were too big and felt clunky, so I decided to keep the size 8. I wore them with socks for a day and got them wet and they fit perfectly like my old ones now.

I have two odd feet. one foot is actually a whole half size larger(due to injuries)...what foot do I accommodate? wear the size that is comfortable on the bad foot, and too big on the good foot, or wear the size that is comfortable on the good foot, but snug on the bad foot?
