I have five styles of Keen (various sandals and shoe/boots), and these are by far my favorite for warm weather. They dry quicker, don't fade as much, and are more lightweight than the leather version. And they have a fixed heel, which is better than the ultra lightweight version (if you have a wide but not a long foot, don't get the ultra lightweight kind, because your heel will project off the edge, as the laces are all one, unlike this fixed heel style). I use them heavily, for trails, in water, on a boat, and daily casual wear, and they last about 6 years, usually breaking down eventually in the heel and fabric threading that attaches the neoprene to the nylon. The 'look' takes a bit of getting used to (I refer to them as my 'clown shoes'), but they are very comfy, nice wide and protected toe box, no break in period, and well worth the investment! I've bought about 15 pairs over the years, not only for myself, but other friends and family. The only thing these shoes are not good for, is going to the beach. Sand and pebbles collect in the toe box as you walk.

I wear these in the pool to walk the lazy river for exercise. I love them. Once in a while I wash them in the clothes washer with my jeans, then let them air dry.

Best shoes ever! I first bought these when I was pregnant because I heard they had great support. They are amazing, and I have owned the same pair for the past 5 years. You can go hiking, jogging, or old-fashioned shopping in these babies. They are a versatile shoe that is both comfortable and practical. I wear them when I go biking outside in nice weather, and indoors on the elliptical in winter. They have a wider toe, which is nice, and I find that these shoes take a lot of the impact for you instead of your joints or ankles. These really are an amazing shoe and I would highly recommend them for both adults and kids.

: I love the color, the fit and the looks of these Keens. This type of sandal I wear in the winter as opposed to the strappier kind that are for summer. They're comfortable - no breaking in. I hate boots and prefer these year-round. The sole is a safe, non-slip one so I don't skate across the deck when I get the morning paper. Sandals are for all year - not just summer!

I have 3 colors of the Newport and just bought the black to take on a cruise...they are very comfortable right out of the box and I love that they can get wet and then dry quickly. When they need a freshen up I toss them in the washing machine, then air dry and they're as good as new.

My 16 year old daughter will wear these even though they are not considered stylish by teen standards. That says a lot. My whole family loves their Keens - perfect for an active vacation, tried many other brands, but the Keens are superior and comfortable.

I bought these shoes for our trip to Hawaii. They were great! I went from kayaking to hiking and they were dry and comfortable. They are good for walking on slippery surfaces, too. I would recommend ordering half a size bigger than what you normally wear. I absolutely love my Keens! My husband also loves his and also ordered half a size bigger than he normally wears.

I bought my first pair of Keen Newport H2 5 years ago...they have been to New Zealand, Alaska, Australia, in the gulf and on the sand...only now years later are they showing wear. I still wear them for general hiking and wading in the Gulf. But to be "more" presentable I bought another pair...same style and color for "dress"...to say these fit my feet perfectly is an understatement! 80% of the time I wear Keen! Worth every penny!

As usual, true Keen fit and comfort. Great for walking on pebble beaches! I've had leather Newports for years and love 'em and now enjoy being able to get these Keen Newport H2Os wet without worry (though I did actually wash my leather Newports -- very gently and let them dry away from heat -- got rid of the stink!). The only issue I have with these full-fledged Keens is that they are heavy and that makes them a bit of a problem when trying to keep the weight of a suitcase below the 50lb limit for checked baggage. The look is clunky but you really can't beat these Keens for durability and protection of sensitive toes. I wear my Keen Newports for physical therapy because they give me the ability to adjust them for the comfort of my very tender neuropathic feet. The wide footbed provides excellent stability. I usually order a half size up with Keens.

I bought these and wore them all over Hawaii both on the beach and hiking the mountains. They are the most comfortable sandals I've ever worn and are very easy to clean! If you're going to buy a shoe for wet conditions that holds up to any terrain, this is it! It is adjustable by using the bungee draw cord. My husband has a very narrow foot and a little cinch of the draw cord made his fit perfectly. His was a different style Keen but worked the same way.

Great hiking sandal! I had a pair of Keen whispers which I loved but after years of heavy use, wore out. I got these right before a trip to Belize and was SO happy I had ordered them. They are much more heavy duty especially for trail hiking. Love them! My size fit me perfectly but I have a stubby foot which needs a 1/2 up for width. If you are more of a long narrow foot, you may need a 1/2 size larger but that's just a guess.

I saw this shoe on a person on a cruise ship and was impressed by the look and the enclosed toe, so I stopped and talk to her. Her remarks were nothing but positive, so I decided to try a pair. Knowing Zappo's policy of free shipping and return policy I ordered. All the positive reviews are true especially the arch support. I loosened them and they are perfect! We do a lot of traveling and these shoes will definitely be on my "carry" list. Thank you! One other thing, I have a bad knee and need the arch support that these shoes give.

I bought these shoes to wear on our week long trip to Disneyworld. They were fantastic. I have trouble with pronation and I did several 12 hour days in these shoes and never had a problem. No blisters and I had not had much break in time with them either. I would highly recommend these shoes.

This shoe is great for going into the fall season. Depending on the weather; I can just slip them on...with or without socks. The rubber toe is great, especially on rainy days. I have a pair of Keen hikers and I especially love the true fit to my foot and arch support. The fit is excellent from the moment I take them from the box and put them on my feet! Great shoe!

I ordered these to wear when I walk on the beach. They are awesome. Very comfortable and true to size. They were recommended by a friend and I am delighted that I purchased them.

Despite not being the most "glam" of shoes, these babies are built to last and get you comfortably through the toughest terrain. I purchased my pair for a trip to Maui that included a lot of hiking, as well as a zip line excursion. The shoes got wet, muddy, dirty, and went over rocky surfaces, sharp lava outflows, mushy rain forest bottoms, and bamboo grooves. They performed beautifully! I followed other reviews' advice and ordered a half size larger...they fit great! I also like the roominess in the toe box -- enough to be comfy but my feet sure didn't slide around. I have wide feet (as in duck feet!), and these fit very comfortably, but with no room to spare. Overall, what a great all-purpose, all-terrain, sporty shoe that really does kinda say "Hey...look...I'm an adventurer!", whether you really are or just want to look the part!

This was my second pair of Keen Newports H2. They are so comfortable, they are all I want to wear. I have Plantar Faciitis and do not have to wear an arch support when I wear these shoes. I will definitely be purchasing another pair or two.

This shoe is great for activities in the water. It stays on and drains quickly while providing plenty of grip. The only downfall is that putting the shoe on when it is wet can be a challenge, but when it's on, it's on. I'm never worried that they might fall off.

These shoes are very comfortable. Feel like a sneaker in comfort and support, but with the airiness of a sandal. Inner support is the best support I've ever had in a sandal. These are my shoes for an event I which I walk for 3 days for at least 10 hours each day.

I've been wanting a pair of Keen's for quite a while, but settled instead for the LLBean copy. Bean's changed the style so I decided to try Keen & Zappos. I am delighted with the shoes and the service. They fit comfortably and look good. I will definitely be ordering another pair in the future. My only criticism and it would be nice if Keen could shave off several ounces from the shoe as they are a little bit heavy.

This is the most comfortable pair of shoes/sandals that I have ever purchased! I will be checking out more Keen shoes! Also, Zappos has exceptional service!

Extremely comfortable! I normally wear a size 8 but ordered a 9 and they're perfect. Zappos customer service is outstanding!

These shoes are very comfortable. The first day I wore them it was very hot outside and my toe rubbed a bit on the footbed. But all in all they are comfortable and seem durable. I ordered a half size larger than normal and they fit well. I will be wearing these on hikes, in our boat, and probably for some everyday outings.
