The best athletic sandal. I just returned from Costa Rica. Excellent walk in the rain forest and touring local towns. Most comfortable!

Bought these for vacation to wear on a jungle and cave hike, and they were perfect. Very comfortable even on first wear, great for bouldering and going through streams and up wet scrambles. Not the most stylish but definitely the smartest choice.

I bought the Newport H2 in the Hot Coral. I love these shoes so much, I bought another pair in the slate black/canton and a pair for my mother. I ordered the size I normally wear and they fit true size with no problems. The shoes went on sale a week after I bought them and I called Customer Service where they gave me a credit for the difference with no problem. Never will I shop for shoes at the mall again! Zappos has a great selection and wonderful customer service!

Awesome sandals, they feel really good and have a lot of cushioning. The colors are vibrant and go excellent with my clothes. I normally wear a size 11 to have a little bit of room left over and when I ordered these in a size 11 they just fit. So they seem to run a little small. I will buying more!

Keen Newport H2s are the best for walking on rocky beaches, but really for anywhere. So comfortable, and the toe guard is very practical. Not quite as light as the Keen Whisper, but some great colors made me chose the Newport this time. Definitely size up a half size.

I had to go a half size up - they felt narrower than usual. I used these for hiking/wading in Sedona and they were great. Great grip, comfort and support.

This pair of shoes is great. I have worn them around the house to test them out as it is still cold weather where I am. Around the house they feel quite comfortable. I think they are very stylish and am really looking forward to wearing them outside. I am also sure they will be as durable as I need them to be.

Not the prettiest shoe in the world; however, there is little to no break-in required. Great for walks in the woods or days on the water.

I love these shoes. Put them directly in my suitcase from the box. I was a bit concerned taking brand new shoes on a trip but I hiked all over Hawaii in them and never had a problem. The toe box is roomy and that's exactly what I need. I have had surgery on both my feet so I am very picky about my shoes. I think these are great!

I ordered the Venice, Whisperer and Newport H2 a half size bigger based on other reviews. Venice and Whisperer were too large. The Newport H2 was perfect at a half size bigger. So, order this one half size up than you normally wear.

My husband and I love these shoes for everyday wear and travel! They are so comfortable I even wear them in winter with wool socks when I visit my daughter in Alaska. We have hiked with Keens in Panama and Costa Rica rain forests and on all our scuba diving trips. Very often they are the only pair of shoes we take except for an extra pair of flip flops for wearing around inside our hotel room. Definitely worth the money and have bought them for all of our young grandsons; ages 7, 5 and 3.

These are the best Keen's I have ever had! Just wore them for the first time today and went to the quarry to hike the trails off the rim. I expected some discomfort due to them being new and not "broken-in". NONE! So comfortable and no blisters or rubbing. Can't wait to wear them on vacation! I think I will get some more! LOVE the colors! I ordered them in 9 1/2, what I normally wear and the fit is perfect! Thanks Keen and Zappos!

I have five styles of Keen (various sandals and shoe/boots), and these are by far my favorite for warm weather. They dry quicker, don't fade as much, and are more lightweight than the leather version. And they have a fixed heel, which is better than the ultra lightweight version (if you have a wide but not a long foot, don't get the ultra lightweight kind, because your heel will project off the edge, as the laces are all one, unlike this fixed heel style). I use them heavily, for trails, in water, on a boat, and daily casual wear, and they last about 6 years, usually breaking down eventually in the heel and fabric threading that attaches the neoprene to the nylon. The 'look' takes a bit of getting used to (I refer to them as my 'clown shoes'), but they are very comfy, nice wide and protected toe box, no break in period, and well worth the investment! I've bought about 15 pairs over the years, not only for myself, but other friends and family. The only thing these shoes are not good for, is going to the beach. Sand and pebbles collect in the toe box as you walk.

I wear these in the pool to walk the lazy river for exercise. I love them. Once in a while I wash them in the clothes washer with my jeans, then let them air dry.

Best shoes ever! I first bought these when I was pregnant because I heard they had great support. They are amazing, and I have owned the same pair for the past 5 years. You can go hiking, jogging, or old-fashioned shopping in these babies. They are a versatile shoe that is both comfortable and practical. I wear them when I go biking outside in nice weather, and indoors on the elliptical in winter. They have a wider toe, which is nice, and I find that these shoes take a lot of the impact for you instead of your joints or ankles. These really are an amazing shoe and I would highly recommend them for both adults and kids.

: I love the color, the fit and the looks of these Keens. This type of sandal I wear in the winter as opposed to the strappier kind that are for summer. They're comfortable - no breaking in. I hate boots and prefer these year-round. The sole is a safe, non-slip one so I don't skate across the deck when I get the morning paper. Sandals are for all year - not just summer!

I have 3 colors of the Newport and just bought the black to take on a cruise...they are very comfortable right out of the box and I love that they can get wet and then dry quickly. When they need a freshen up I toss them in the washing machine, then air dry and they're as good as new.

My 16 year old daughter will wear these even though they are not considered stylish by teen standards. That says a lot. My whole family loves their Keens - perfect for an active vacation, tried many other brands, but the Keens are superior and comfortable.

I bought these shoes for our trip to Hawaii. They were great! I went from kayaking to hiking and they were dry and comfortable. They are good for walking on slippery surfaces, too. I would recommend ordering half a size bigger than what you normally wear. I absolutely love my Keens! My husband also loves his and also ordered half a size bigger than he normally wears.

I bought my first pair of Keen Newport H2 5 years ago...they have been to New Zealand, Alaska, Australia, in the gulf and on the sand...only now years later are they showing wear. I still wear them for general hiking and wading in the Gulf. But to be "more" presentable I bought another pair...same style and color for "dress"...to say these fit my feet perfectly is an understatement! 80% of the time I wear Keen! Worth every penny!

As usual, true Keen fit and comfort. Great for walking on pebble beaches! I've had leather Newports for years and love 'em and now enjoy being able to get these Keen Newport H2Os wet without worry (though I did actually wash my leather Newports -- very gently and let them dry away from heat -- got rid of the stink!). The only issue I have with these full-fledged Keens is that they are heavy and that makes them a bit of a problem when trying to keep the weight of a suitcase below the 50lb limit for checked baggage. The look is clunky but you really can't beat these Keens for durability and protection of sensitive toes. I wear my Keen Newports for physical therapy because they give me the ability to adjust them for the comfort of my very tender neuropathic feet. The wide footbed provides excellent stability. I usually order a half size up with Keens.

I bought these and wore them all over Hawaii both on the beach and hiking the mountains. They are the most comfortable sandals I've ever worn and are very easy to clean! If you're going to buy a shoe for wet conditions that holds up to any terrain, this is it! It is adjustable by using the bungee draw cord. My husband has a very narrow foot and a little cinch of the draw cord made his fit perfectly. His was a different style Keen but worked the same way.
