This is my second pair of these. My first pair lasted 4 years of hard abuse. I hope to always have a pair of these. They are my primary shoes. Maybe it should be noted that they feel a little tight the first week. I was worried I reordered the wrong size at first.

I had my eyes on these for a long time before I purchased. I don't buy summer shoes with a strap across the heal. Took a chance and find I like them very much. Nice and wide through the toes, very comfortable and the color/plaid is great. It is a bit of a struggle to get the strap up over my heal but I'm not used to wearing this type of shoe. I have a high instep and the shoe gives great support.

I wear these constantly during the summer. They are excellent around town as well as over rugged terrain. Now, at the end of my second summer, they are beginning to smell a little, and I will probably replace them for next year. Other than the odor, they still are like new.

I wore out my first pair of Keen Newport H2's after hiking and snorkeling in them for 5 years. They always felt a bit tight around my bunions, though, so this time I ordered a half size up and am very comfortable in them. They are perfect for walking on the rocky beaches here in Hawaii, as well as for boating. The arch support is good, your toes are protected, they stay on no matter what, and they dry quickly. I had problems with my first pair getting smelly after being in the water, so this time I'm making sure they dry in the sun between wearings. So far, no problems.

These are by far the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. Most of my shoes cause a sharp pain in the ball of my foot. Not with these. It felt like the bed of the shoe was designed just for my foot. I took the advice of other reviewers and ordered 1/2 size up. They fit perfectly.

I bought these in bright chartreuse/garden green along with the Venice H2 (not as comfortable) and Clearwater CNX (toe box contour not quite right) for wading/boating/camping wear. I kept these over the other two for comfort. I have only worn them for camping and they deliver. I can wear them loose for walking, and tighten for in-water wear. It took a little while to get used to the fit, but I was able to put them on and go out of the box. I hosed them off for cleaning and hung them heel down for drying. I did fine. I usually buy a size 6 in casual, but took a 5½ in these shoes. I probably could fit with average socks if I had to, but I mostly intend to wear them without socks.

These are great for walking anywhere. They look bulky, but feel like bare feet. They are cool outdoors, but can be as sweaty as shoes indoors.

This is my 5th or 6th pair of Keen Newport h2. I wear them everyday in the summer, and with socks (dork alert) in the fall. I had one pair that rubbed the side of my foot. A Bandaid on the shoe fixed that. Not ideal. But every other pair, this one included is cool, comfortable, non-slip soles work on rocks, sidewalks, and sand. I buy 1/2 size up. I need a wide toe bed because of a tumor on the bottom of a toe. This shoe works terrifically in keeping my toes unsquished.

These are all that everybody says they are! Fit-wise: They are truly great for my foot shape: wider (C) in the forefoot and narrower in the heel. My "Fit Tip" would be to try them on first in a store before ordering them online. Apparently, from reading 100's of reviews, not everybody needs to size up. I did have to though. My usually size in most other shoes/sandals is 8 - 8.5. I need a size 9 in Keens. (I am typically a 39 EUR, which, in most other brands, equals 8 - 8.5 US. With Keen, the size 9 US = 39.5, so, for me, Keen does run a 1/2 size small...short...and I needed that extra 1/2 size in length.) My "big toe" is a little bit on the large side so it rubbed the end/tip at the very end of the shoe. A size 9 fit my foot much better. So, for me, the proper fit came from sizing up a 1/2 size because I needed that tiny bit of extra length. The width was good otherwise, on/in both the 8.5 and the 9. Also, if they feel too "hot" for you, maybe only wear them in the cooler months; Spring and Fall (and winter if you don't live in a snowy region). This is what I plan to do.

Love this sandal -- I have even worn them to do my "exercise" walking, of about 2 miles, and walking at a good rate! Very comfortable for all day wearing, and the yellow color is great! I did order 1/2 siZe larger than normal; I normally wear a Sz 8, and I ordered an 8.5, and they fit perfectly.

I used to buy the Whisper style of Keens until I tried the Newport H2. These fit my feet much better. Though the others are also excellent for arch support and comfort. The Newports have more toe wiggle room and I hate the feeling that my feet and toes are confined. I wear then year round even in snow (with socks) I will attempt to own every color Keen makes in this Newport H2 style!

I tried on these shoes as well as the Keen Whisper and Keen Venice H2. I found that the Newport H2 had the most foot coverage, followed by the Whisper and then the Venice H2. The Whisper was definitely the lightest of the 3. What I liked best about the Newport H2 was that it was slightly more narrow than the other 2 and sole came up to hug the edges of my feet just below the start of my toes, making the shoe feel more secure. Having worn these shoes for the past month, I really like how comfortable they are (with no break-in required), how well they hold up, and that they're very easy to wash in the washing machine.

While I like the look of these shoes, they are too wide in the toe box for my feet. They seem to be well-made and durable. I was hoping they would have a little more of an arch support.

Man, these are great shoes! We just returned from the Galapagos where there was a lot of rough lava terrain to traverse and they were perfect! They even dried overnight on the boat which was very humid naturally, but they were still dry in the morning. They were very comfy, nice padding in the soles, and very rugged. I never once thought I with I'd brought a pair of sneakers instead. Plus, they match the logo with the bright yellow!

The shoes are just what I was looking for - active walking wear. I haven't taken them into a lake or stream yet, but they say they are waterproof, which was important to me. They are quite comfortable. I have a high arch, and these give just the right support - not too much (shoes with really high supports aren't good), and not too little. The toe box is quite roomy, and my toes are protected by the toe shield so I don't think any sticks can catch my toes. Even though there are the open slots, they are warm like regular shoes, not as cool as sandals. I typically wear 8-1/2 M, these are 9M & fit well.

What a great sandal! We run a summer camp program, and rather than change from sneakers to sandals to hiking shoes to water shoes...this shoe does it all! Can't compare the comfort either! Thank you Keen!

As always, Keen delivers with a comfy, functional shoe. I needed something that I could wear in the water as well as for other things, like walking around town. This shoe comfortably does both. I love the wide toe box (I have bunions, and it is difficult for me to find shoes that are comfortable). As with all of my other Keens, I ordered a half size up (I am normally a 9, and ordered a 9.5).

Great water shoe just 1/2 size too big for me. My other Keens that are a few years old were size 8, but these new shoes seem to run 1/2 size larger. My street shoe size is 7 1/2, so I guess I will need to order that size and return the 8's. No problem, though. I love Zappos. The company name suits the service -- super fast and super easy to do business with!

Great support, wonderful color, just a bit to big. I have a pair of Keens size 8 that are a few years old, but these new Keens in size 8 are a half size too large. Boo! Guess I will have to order 7 1/2. Love the color choices & support. Also, Keens are great for water sports -- they stay on!

These are probably my new favorite shoes. I took them with me on vacation to Las Vegas, Portland, Yellowstone and Wisconsin. I walked over every imaginable sort of terrain from rock to sand to water no snow to city streets and I never once had a problem with discomfort. The secret is not to pull the elastic laces too tight. If you over-tighten that's when you get blisters. I would have given them a 5 for style, too but the (necessary) rubber toe isn't my taste though, without it, this sandal would not be all-terrain so I'm being overly picky on this one tiny thing. If you're going to be doing a lot of walking, I can't recommend these sandals highly enough.

I have never written a review as I am very particular. Outstanding shoe. Wider at the toe and narrower at the heel. Excellent arch support and extremely comfortable. Give it a try. Zappos has the best service. This differentiates it from the rest!

I love these Keens. I got them to replace a previous more stylish pair of Keens I have. I wanted these primarily for water activities and they truly fit the bill! They are cute AND very comfortable. I like it that you can toss them in the washer when needed. The color is true to the pictures.

Stylish fun shoe. Many compliments. Needed a comfortable shoe for a trip with lots of walking in very weather. Bought and returned the Ahnu Tilden IV because toes kept poking through cutouts (my issue, not shoe). This shoe's cutouts were perfect. My feet were able to breathe.

It's rare when a company recognizes they crafted a timeless shoe and knows not to mess with the original, like Keen did with Newports. It's Keen's "Wallabee." I wear either a 7 or 7.5, and these are perfect in a 7.
