This has been my go to shoe for the past five years. I have mostly worn them in the fall/winter, but my plantar fascia was torn this summer and this is the only shoe my orthopedist recommends until I heal. Therefore, it has also been my summer shoe. I have a narrow foot and heel, but the cinch strap makes it easy to adjust. I have black, beet red, slate black/canton, mineral blue/vapor and coral that seems to be just a summer color. I wear them with everything, even to church because of my foot issue. They are not terribly feminine and not dressy at all, but I am just thankful to be able to walk without pain! I have gotten lots of compliments on the cannon/slate black. Strangely, Keens' quality control does not seem to be as exact as in previous years. I had to exchange several pairs of the same size until I found the best fit. I do have one foot slightly larger than the other. As always, Zappos' customer service is excellent!

These are fantastic sandals! This is my third pair of Keens. Every time I go to buy a new pair of comfortable, functional shoes I try on every brand in the store and land on Keen. I hiked in the boundary waters of Minnesota for a week over burned, fallen trees; through muck, mud, and water; portaging a canoe, and then went to New Zealand and hiked the cliffs along the coast in these sandals and they never let me down! As for the reviewer who said her feet never change - not true. Everyone's feet change as they age - unless, of course, the reviewer has discovered the fountain of youth - then please share!

Keens are the best. They fit great and are my second pair. I ordered them on Thursday afternoon and they were delivered on Friday by 3, just as promised. I have used Zappos several times and have never been disappointed. I have foot problems and my podiatrist said that these are the best shoes for your feet as they give great support.

Perfect. Had trouble with keens in the past because I have a narrow foot and they often run wide but these do the trick. Super Comfortable footbed (I also have plantar fasciitis) and great in the water. Good traction. Ordered a half size down per other recommendations and at first felt perhaps a bit too small as toes touched, but that went away after one wearing in the water.

These are exactly what I was looking for! I originally ordered the Whisper, but my baby toes got caught in the openings. I wore these right out of the box and did some light hiking with them on and not on a flat surface. Love the color combination, grey and coral.

Wanted a rugged shoe more than a sandal but less than a boot that worked on uneven terrain with rocks and tree roots, and able to get wet. These were perfect!

I did something crazy - I went on a week long trip to Southeast Asia and took only this one pair of shoes. And I had never worn them before! It could have been a disaster but it turns out they are the perfect shoe for hiking around in the hot, humid jungles and rice paddies. I ordered the Venice H2 and the Whisper at the same time and the Newport H2s were the clear winner the minute I put them on. The others got returned. There is plenty of cushioning, good width, room in the toe bed. I ordered in my usual athletic shoe size (about half a size larger than my regular shoes). They are certainly not the most attractive shoes, but they are great for adventure travel!

True to size, excellent fit right out of the box! I have several Keen shoes this by far is the best style for what I am looking for.

LOVE these. They arrived so quickly, I put them right on and... don't want to take them off. I was looking for an alternative to flip flops and skimpy sandals - THESE ARE THE BEST.

Love the style and arch support that the Newport provides. This is my second pair! Was wanting another all black pair, but they no longer had those in women's, so got these. Please note- these are not black and gray, as I had thought, but dark and light gray. Really happy with them even thought the color is not what I was thinking. I have plantar fasciitis and very high arches. If you need superior arch support, these are fabulous!

I love the Newport H2! I got them to replace my old worn out Whispers. The Newport H2 is more supportive and comfortable. I've only worn them for 3 days and they are completely broke in. Please keep this style so I can easily replace them when this pair is shot.

I have a pair of Keen Whisper sandals that I love and when I saw this color ordered it without noticing that it was a different model. Newports are much heavier than the Whisper and crowd my little toes. I returned them.

Thought the shoes ugly, but they look better on. Haven't used in the water yet but I'm impressed with construction of shoe.

Bought these to replace an old pair of Keens.. much lighter weight than the previous pair, but the colors are better. Fit perfectly right out of the box. Good for town walking, shorter hikes, and also look cute with sundresses.

I love these shoes! This is my second pair of Keen Newport H2s. My first pair lasted five years until the black part of the sole came off, rendering them unwearable. All the reviewers who suggested sizing up are absolutely right. At first I ordered an 8, same size as my last pair, but the straps were rubbing against my pinkies and giving me blisters. I couldn't understand it -- I'd never had such a problem with Keens before! Then I read the reviews and returned the shoes for an 8.5, and all is right in the universe. These sandals are super-comfortable for all-day walking, they dry fast if you get them wet, and they are very cute (in my opinion). The red color add an extra kick.

This is Keen at it's best! I do a lot of dog walking, not just on paved roads, but on gravel. These sandals - more like little miracles - are the most stable of anything I've ever owned. Not so feminine, but REALLY do the job. Worth the $ - wish I could afford a few more pairs.

Great shoes! Comfortable from the first time I put them on. The design allows for plenty of toe room while still fitting snugly at the heel. This is my third pair, and they are my "go to" shoes for summer. Good for walking and light hiking, good for water activities. Durable.

These keens rock- in look and in function. I was blown away by how great the grey looks w the coral-orangish color- and they fit perfectly! but the functionality.... that's where it's at dude. i hiked three days with these in Canaan Valley, WV- blackwater falls, the Dolly Sods, and seneca rocks. Never an issue any of the days. the Dolly Sods north and wilderness had us trekking through six inches of wet mud at times, crossing creeks, and tons of rocks- none were ever an issue with these Keens! They did not let me down!

The shoes are really nice and very light weight, and they would be perfect except my right ankle bone touches the strap so they won't work for me. I purchased and returned four pairs of the Keen Whisper sandals, and the quality of those were much poorer than the H2. I would highly recommend the H2 over the Whisper. I think the problem of the way they fit me is unique to my foot and most people wouldn't have this problem, so I'd highly recommend the shoes. The light green color is also very pretty and versatile.

I finally had to replace my original Keen Venice sandals after several years of kayaking, canoeing, fishing and hiking. I really liked the look of the new Newport H2s and ordered a pair in my usual Keen size (9.5) when they arrived the Newports fit about a half size narrower and shorter than I was expecting. One quick and pleasant call to Zappos customer service and a pair of size 10s were on there way to me. The 10s fit perfectly, so I would recommend sizing up a half size. Other than that the sandals have the same great Keen workmanship I was looking for.

I received my shoes very timely and they fit my narrow feet perfectly. I do have one 8 1/2 and one 9 foot and fit me well anyway. I ordered size 9 and according to other reviews I felt 9 was my right size.A bit cramped in my larger foot but with give and break in period I think they will be just fine.

Very comfortable. I wear a size 7-7.5 in Keens. Ordered these as size 8. Perfect fit.

Love these shoes. Keens fit my feet so well that I can wear for extended periods upon receiving without getting blisters or feeling discomfort.

I read the reviews, many of which said to order 1/2 size up because these fit small. I did not find this to be the case - my regular size fit fine. These are well made and very comfortable shoes. A great buy!

I've been a Keen customer for many years. I bought this pair for a summer trip via rail and motorcoach. Even though I have plantar fascitis and custom othotics, the built in arch support in these sandals makes wearing my orthotics unnecessary. They're stylish, while protecting the toe and the heel strap provides good support for walking.
