These Keen Newport H2 sandals have sadly changed over the past few years, for the worse. They now are very narrow and at least a half size small. This was one thing my feet could count on for perfect comfort, but I haven't been able to wear them for about 3 years. At least they're manufactured elsewhere now, so the inside feels soft & resilient again. The past year's models were hard on the insole, so that's an improvement. I will try one more time to get a half size larger, to see if the width is manageable. My usual 7.5 in these were too narrow & short, heels were hanging on the outside edge.

Once I got these on, they seemed comfortable, but I wasn't planning on such a struggle to put this type of shoe on my foot. I released the cord to its fullest, but I still was unable to slide them on easily without more hand strength. It would help to have the back strap open up completely. When designing a comfort shoe, it might be a good idea to consider hand strength of an arthritic consumer.

I like the ruggedness of these shoes, but they rub my pinky toe. They are going back. I have the Venice H2 and like them, but I'm scared they are too short.

Loved the shoes but they do not fit or feel like other pairs I have of the same style and brand. The fabric is very stiff, the left shoe feels decidedly narrow, and the slider thingee does not work well. It seems as if they are knock-offs of Keenes. So disappointed.

Big disappointment on changes to a style I have enjoyed in the past. Shoe has been redesigned and the adjustable velcro has been eliminated. There is a small opening to squeeze your foot through. Once you wiggle, wiggle, wiggle your foot in through this opening, you may be happy. The elastic with cord lock is adjustable to tighten or loosen the shoe, but the opening to cram your foot in is not adjustable except for the small amount of stretch in the shoe. I really liked the previous versions of this shoe and have purchased several over the years. I cannot wear this one. I don't want a shoe that it takes 5 minutes to wiggle into. Big disappointment.

There was something very wrong with the right foot footbed. The outside rear arch and heel of the right shoe was raised, and made walking impossible. I'd like to return.

Very disappointed that KEEN changed the styling on this shoe. I absolutely loved my last pair. Perfect arch support. Wide front area. Easy to wear with or without socks. I just tried two different sizes of the “updated” version and both were uncomfortable. Awkward arch positioning, narrow upfront, and fabric irritated small toe. Farewell KEEN…Looking to other brands now.

I have had this style previously in Keens. I’m quite pleased that they have not changed the sizing. I wear a 9 and if I have to change sizes due to the shoe, some aspect will not fit correctly. It’s snug like a hug and not too tight. Easy to slip on and tighten with elastic. For the type of shoe, it is nice looking with great colours. I’ve been taking walks in it and my foot is very happy. I have had multiple knee surgeries and my knee is happy with the support it is receiving. Recommend this shoe.

Not sure I would say call it excellent arch support but definitely better than most. I have owned 5 or 6 pairs of these and live in them in the summer. They stay on my feet, they have enough support, they're good for walking. I do pull the laces out to their maximum length as my foot is wide and Keen doesn't make wide widths, but they are wide enough with the laces extended all the way. Hope they make them forever.

Love my Keens....cannot show toes due to surgeries etc.....and old lady toes are just that......these are comfy and durable...and I do not trip. Cannot wear flip flops anymore so these kind are the best in Summer......love love love.

I bought these for kayaking and other outdoor summer activities, and they worked great. They're very secure and the soles are solid. I like having my toes protected and wearing something with a lot of support. They dry off quickly after getting soaked and don't look any the worse for wear. They are a bit expensive but I think they will last a long time so they are ultimately a good value. Highly recommend!

These are great shoes. Yes, they look a little clunky but you can walk for hours and your feet will be very happy?

Love the Newport style - this was my 3rd pair of navy (over 16 years). Just counted how many pairs of different styles of Keens I have - 12 pairs including a pair of boots. Love the comfort and quality.

I have a fallen arch from an injury and these shoes offer good support. They are pretty and comfy too. Keens are my go to for getting on and off the boat and being around the dock. My last pair is starting to fall apart and they are 8 years old.

I selected this shoe for comfort, arch support and to wear around pools and beach. I prefer closed toed sandals and appreciate this option. They are comfortable and easy to wear. As I have narrow feet, I have to tighten the cords further and then it under so as not hang out.

The price has gone up on this shoe, but the quality is still very good, perhaps even better. The sole feels lighter but just as sturdy as my older Keens.

Love Keen shoes. Fit better than expected because on the narrower side. Ordered the same size I always do. The grey color is a bit lighter than in the pictures, but not different enough to send back.

These Keens felt great the minute I put them on!

Keen has a wider profile which works well for me - if you have a narrower foot, you'd have to try adjusting the elastic banding. Overall great shoe, exactly what I needed for a lot of walking and multiple terrain types.

They fit true to size but seem to be really wide at the forefoot. I just didn't like the way they looked on me. They made my feet look huge!

Amazingly comfortable all around my entire foot. Despite what others have stated, these are easy to put on once the elastic ties are properly adjusted. Back strap expands and feels fine. Probably can't use for long walks on cement because I use Hokas, but haven't tried.
