DO NOT USE THIS SHOE ON SMOOTH SURFACES. I was slipping on smooth bathroom flooring and smooth rocks. Zappos wouldn't take this shoe back and neither would Keen since it wasn't purchased directly from them.

Not sure what has happened to Keen's sizing. I've been wearing Keens in a size 9 for years. I was not even able to get my foot into these! The styling on these is a little clunkier than my current Keens but the tread and foot bed look like it offers good support....if I could have gotten them on. So disappointed l

Have a pair of these that are wearing out. The new model was disappointing because the toe box was smaller and very tight. Can usually count on Keen shoes to have a roomy toe box - not this time - had to return them.

The grip on these shoes is terrible. I wore them for the first time today and it was raining. I went to In-N-Out and busted my butt on the floor because the shoes have absolutely no grip. I was shocked, as the shoes are marketed for hiking, trails, water, rain, and outdoors. This was really a huge let down :( considering making a return because the grip is just THAT bad! The best comparison I have is that they felt like bowling shoes....

I wanted to replace a 10 year old pair of these shoes which fit perfectly as the sole came apart. The new shoes are much narrower and I had to return them,.

I wanted to like these shoes, I got matching for myself and toddler but we both had red marks on various parts of our feet from the stitching on the fabric parts of the shoes. This shoe has great support just couldn’t get past the stitching.

If KEEN's were the only sandals there were to buy, I'd not buy them any longer. They are not nearly as well made as they were. The ones made in Mexico are great; the ones made in the Dominican Republic are horrible. No support and uncomfortable. Mexico made is and was superior. One local footwear store has discontinued carrying KEEN because of how poor their quality has become. It's very disappointing.

The best thing about this pair of sandals: the colors! LOVE them! That's what tempted me to begin with. I had never bought that style before and wanted to give it a shot. I couldn't even get my foot in it! I know it can be adjusted but it's too difficult to deal with. I love Keen quality and Zappo's customer service!

I've been a long time Keen fan. It appears their quality and comfort have gone downhill. These and the others I tried are all stiff, claustrophobic feeling, painful, hard to get on, with sloppy differences in the assemblage- wonky toe rubber placement etc.
I'd also recommend:
Clarks, Naot, New Balance, Ecco etc.

The sizing of Newport H2s got smaller for size 14 in 2023. I have purchased at least fifteen pairs of Newport H2s in size 14 over the past decade or so. I wear them every day, all year round. At some point in the first half of 2023, the sizing changed, and new Newport H2s in size 14 became about a half inch shorter in length than pre-2023 Newport H2s in size 14. I thought it might have been a one-time manufacturing error that affected only one or two of the new colors, but I have tried ordering different colors of Newport H2s from different places several times since May 2023, and all of the new size 14s are about a half inch shorter than the pre-2023 pairs I still have in the house. I tried ordering a size 15 instead, but while the 2023 size 15 is now almost exactly the same length from heal to toe as the pre-2023 size 14s, the current size 15 is bigger in other dimensions than the pre-2023 size 14s, and the fit does not work for me.

I started buying Keen shoes in 2005 and have always loved them. The past two pairs I've purchased have been an absolute disappointment. Low quality and blister-causing. So sad about this.

I have been buying Keen's since 2008. I am not sure what happened but they do not fit like they use to. I went up 1/2 size and they are still to narrow. Disappointing.

I have had Keen hiking sandals for years. When I wear a pair out I buy another. There was something wrong with these. I could not get them on…. I had to stretch and pull and use brute force….and I bought 1/2 size up as usual. I wore them just once in a flat trail and I had a blister on the pad of my foot as well as the back of my heal. They were so tight with no give. Sadly, I’m sending these back. After 10 years, I’m going to have to figure something else out.

I usually have good luck with Keen shoes/sandals. I ordered my usually size and they fit well everywhere except around the ankle. They were too tight to keep on for very long so I'm returning. I doubt a bigger size would help as they fit well everywhere but the ankle.

Very disappointing. I wanted to replace a pair of Keen Venice sandals but it looks like they are phasing them out. Only a few sizes available. I loved them because they were wonderfully roomy in the front but secure in the heel. I never even got that far with the Newport. The top opening was so small, I couldn't even get my foot in it! And whereas the Venice had nice little loops at front in back to help you tug it on, the Newport loops were clearly for decoration only (not that they are particularly decorative - the whole shoe looked more cheaply made than the Venice). They are too small to even fit a finger in - and BTW, I'm pretty small. Why is it that when you find something great, they replace it with something that clearly has been made with less thought, care, and quality?

They are uncomfortable Not sure who’s doing your reviews. Obviously computer or people from Keen. Just got them and sending straight back! There is a real review.

These were the worse fitting pair of Keens I have ever purchased, and I have 8 pairs. I could barely get my foot into them, the webbing was so tight across the top and down by the toe that there was no room for my foot. They are being returned. I hope this is not due to cutting corners by Keen. They use to be, and I hope still are, a good company with a great product.

I ordered these for my daughter in her usual size, but she said they are too tight. I will be returning them.
