I have a pair of Newports purchased many years ago that are wider and have fewer straps (they are now completely worn out so I bought the new ones). There's too much "shoe" above the footbed in these new Newports -- I want a mostly naked foot in a sandal so they won't be too hot. Had to return them.

I don't know why but I ordered the same size as ever of Keen's and this particular one was tight. Hard to depend on it stretching at all with wear as the style is set in stone as far as give. I won't be wearing these for long periods of time but I'm afraid that if I went a size larger the width would be sloppy which is worse.

I tried on three other Keen sandal styles at the time. These fit similar to Venice, although these felt wider and heavier, a bit clunky. Both this show and Venice were short in length for me.

Run very narrow making them impossible for me.

These are like other Keen sandals in running small. I wear a true 5, can usually fit a Keen 5.5 and these are almost too small. My otero Keens fit ok, these come right to the tips of my toes, and have Avery round shape, almost like kids shoes.

I've been a big fan of Keen sandals for many years now and the Venice style has been my go to every summer. I couldn't find that style in stock so I tried the Newport H2. At first - they weren't great and I thought they just needed some breaking in (although my Venice sandals never needed it). I should have just returned them right away because the foot bed in these are just really uncomfortable. The new design has this highly textured, sticky-ish material that feels like little rocks jamming into your soles. The stickiness has resulted in some blisters on the soles of my feet. Not comfortable at all. Oh well - I will keep trying to scrub down whatever the surface is and powder it to take off some of the stick - but I know I will never buy these ever again. In fact - I may just throw them out. What a waste.

I have several pairs of the Keen Newport sandals. Regrettably, this version is too big but at the same time, too narrow, for my moderately wide feet. I love the style and color though.

Love the color and I usually love Keens but these did not fit across my toes, too tight.

Compared to my last pair of Keens these are small, wide, and clunky. Not comfortable or flattering.

the shoe itself is the correct size for 11 medium foot however the elastic pink sock that they put inside the shoe was the wrong size so I cut it in strategic places so my foot was allowed to exand the shoe....(once you cut a 4.5 inch hole in your spyder can am seat to allow gassing up without lifting the seat duhhhI can modify anything...) you cant tell either...shoes are the bomb love the colors and now love the comfortable modified fit...now I am on the search for some more in another color that I can cut up. Yes I have a wide foot and cankles...calf ankles

The shoe felt small for me but that could be because of my high instep due to orthopedic issues. I will be returning them as soon as the return address label is sent to me.

I've had these and other Keen sandals for years. For some reason I found these uncomfortable. The toe box seemed smaller and they seemed stiffer than I was used to. I sent them back and will stick with my 'old' keens for now.

While the foot size fit properly the over feel of the sandal was tight.

I wear a size 6. However, in this shoe the size 6 was too short, though the width was acceptable. I ordered a 6 1/2, and found it to be much too wide. I was disappointed to have to return both pairs .

I bought these and the Whisper sandal to compare the two. The Whisper is lighter and has a more slim/streamlined look while the H2s are a bit more heavier, sturdier, and have a wider toe box. When I first put these on they felt comfortable around the house and had more arch support than the Whispers. I liked the added protection around the toe area as well. Unfortunately after wearing them for a full day out and about walking (around a city) I started to notice a few issues: first, the straps that go across dug into the top of my foot, especially in the left shoe. I tried adjusting the bungee mechanism but couldn't find a solution. Secondly, the back straps dug into the back of my heel on both shoes while walking around. Thirdly, I noticed after wearing them for a full day my feet started to feel fatigued. Not sure if this was caused by the above issues or just me noticing how heavy these shoes were after a full day of wearing. Lastly, the shoes just look comical and a bit too wide for my taste and the design of the sole reminded me of camo, which is not the look I'm going for; I ordered Raven/Swirl Outsole - but this is just my personal preference. Would be nice if Keen came out with solid colors for the whole shoe (Whispers kinda have this going for them). So with these issues I'm going to have to return. These were also my first foray into Keen shoes as well. For reference I'm a size 6.5US/37EU and found the sizing to be consistent and not too wide/small for me.

Great looking sandal, but a little snug. One of the straps kept rubbing against and irritating my toes.

I am not keeping this shoe. I was disappointed. I was a wearer of (and still have) the open back Keen Saratoga clog, which I wish was still made (I bought every pair I could find when I saw they were no longer making them.) I needed a water and stony lake beach shoe, so thought I'd try this. If you have less sensitive or "difficult" feet, this might work for you. I on occasion need an 8, and I did in this show, though 80% of the time I'm a 7.5 M. I've got a thin (no fat on feet at all--very bony), spreading "duck" foot, and this shoe fit the duck part fine, but there was no room to spare. The sole was comfortable and had moderate arch support, and it felt good and like I could walk a good ways in it and feet would be protected from sharp rocks, etc. I'm returning because the insides of the shoe weren't very soft. I wished it was lined in neoprene or something, or had more cushion under the straps. There was some lining, but it wasn't enough for me. But, I do have ultra sensitive feet, with a super high arch and instep, so maybe there would be less pressure on someone else. On my left foot, I also felt a little pressure at the outer left widest part of my foot. I'm not sure if I will try another Keen or not. I may look for a similar shoe in a higher end "comfort" brand like Eccoa and see what I can find.

I've never worn Keens before and was hopeful they would work for an upcoming trip that involves hiking and water. I want something sturdy that will dry quickly. However, they are not comfortable to my foot. The forward part of the shoe is super snug, but then the back feels really insubstantial by comparison. I felt like the front was squeezing my foot backward to the heel strap, and it made it feel like my heel was going to slide off the back. Maybe they were a half size too big and a smaller shoe wouldn't have that much play, but then I'm afraid they would be too tight across my midfoot. Back to the drawing board!

I have ordered Keen for years. These ran smaller than narrow than when I previously bought a similar style in Keens.

I have a new pair of Keen Newports and absolutely love them. The size is true and they are so comfortable. I ordered the teal colored pair because I wanted a spare. They were much more narrow than my other new pair, plain uncomfortable. I sent them back in hope's that the shark color will run true to size and width. Keen used to be very consistent with their shoes but this year (2019), I'm finding several styles that are too short and narrow. KEEN, please have better quality control.
