These are a bit tight and that makes them very difficult to slip on and off. There is also something under one of the straps that is rubbing the top of my foot. I'm going to have to return them and try a larger size and maybe a different shoe that won't rub when I walk.

I thought the shoe fit true to size and was very comfortable. My feet are wide at the metatarsals and they fit nicely. However, I am returning them because for some reason, they look like clown shoes. They are comfy once you get them on & adjusted, but it would be nice if it had a Velcro heel strap. These shoes are made in China so never get a 5 star rating.

The shoes are sturdy. They tend to run half size smaller than advertised. Comfortable right out of the box.

I am trying to move away from wearing flip flops as my everyday summer footwear. These Keens have excellent support and more secure coverage, but are still well ventilated and comfy. Their washability is a big plus. I am still getting used to having a snugger fit overall, but I can wear these more places than flip flops. I am trying to pack lightly for a trip to China, so I got two pairs in different colors allowing me to coordinate with most outfits.

Didn't think I would like this color but liked it most out of the others which I returned. Very comfy. Wore in Cambodia to temples and hiking. Not as cool as flip flops, they get a little warm despite the openings. But offer much more protection. The shape kinda reminds me of clown shoes but otherwise they look fine.

Narrower and lighter than my old Keens (2006) but still a great style. Also, snug to begin with but then stretches just a little after a few hours of wear.

These sandals are very comfortable for both the water and the trail. However, after several miles on the trail with a 33 lb. pack, they started to rub the soles of my feet and I had to change to my hiking boots to keep from getting blisters.

I love these as I wear a lot of purple. Just wished they were the same shade of purple in picture. Mine look like they are faded out or been sun bleached.

Great shoe. Needed to order a full size larger than normal size. Do wish the back had a Velcro strap to make getting the shoe on and off easier.

I had foot surgery awhile ago and can no longer wear flip flops or most other sandals. I was pretty much limited to running shoes. These keeps have enough support that I can wear them all day and eve walk a couple of miles in them. They look great and, eve in purple, are fine with most of my casual work clothes. One downside, though. They get very clammy and hot after a few hours wearing them. I fill them up with foot powder and that helps for awhile. Guess that comes from being waterproof.

I ordered Tuesday afternoon, had the next day! Wow. Put them on and took a 3 mile walk...very comfortable wanted to try out the support, I'm on a rowing team, we row 3 times a week, also work with our local rescue squad, feet get wet, but wanted the protection the thick toe seemed to have. I ordered the navy blue, I do love bright colors, but thought this color would not show dirt as much! I think this was a good choice, a bit pricier then what I would typically pay for a water shoe.

I am a rowing coach and bought this shoe to wear to practice. It is perfect for that use. Very comfortable and water-friendly. It felt a whole size smaller than what I wear in dress shoes. Also, the color is lighter than how it looks on line. I can also see that your foot may get sweaty on the rubber bottom.

I love these shoes. I have a wide foot and they fit well and are very comfortable. I wear a size 9 and ordered a size 9. Color is great, may get another one before summer comes.

Absolutely beautiful shoe. Perfect in almost every way too. I am a true size 11 women's. These shoes were really tight. Unfortunately I am returning them because they are too small.

These are very roomy but definitely run small (short). Normally I'm a 7, and I got a 7.5 just to see, and they still seemed too small. Am going to try an 8 (Gasp!). Otherwise love them, super comfortable, surprisingly light for Keens.

After ordering and trying on several pairs of Keen sandals, I settled on this pair. The sandal itself is supportive, but the arch is wimpy. They are true to size for me, 7 1/2 or 38 in a Sanita. The style is clunky. If you want your feet to look "cute", this is not the sandal for you. If you do real hiking, and want a protective sandal, this will work. I only gave 3-4 stars due to the lack of arch support, and "not so cuteness" of the sandal.

I bought this pair of sandals for the comfort of walking and arch support, and they delivered in my trip to Central America. But after few days of continuing wear, my feet started to smell, and it persisted even after repeatedly washed my feet. Had to stop wearing them for days till I reached cooler area. This is the only problem I found with the sandals.

I bought this sandal for a Utah vacation hiking in the national parks. I wear an 8.5 M and have a slightly wide foot. I bought both the 9 and the 8.5 to try. Reviews indicate that the sandal feels small and tight. I found that both sizes were snug but the 9 felt slightly looser. I went with the 8.5 because I was planning a very athletic 2 week vacation and wanted the shoe to fit well. I also felt that the shoe would conform to my foot with time. I chose to write this review 3 months later so I could reflect actual wear. I am happy to say that the 8.5 was the right choice. The sandal does conform to your foot. Note that the sandal design keeps your foot well protected from injury and in doing so also makes your feet sweat. I knew this upon original purchase so was not surprised. Three months later, I am happy I purchased these sandals for my trip and will continue to use them for outdoor activities in the summer.

For someone with average width feet these would be awesome walking sandals however I have wide feet so they did not work. Surprisingly though these shoes were a little tight but not as much as I thought they might be. Unfortunately they were still too snug for comfort.

I live in the mountains near a creek so I wanted a shoe to hike in that can take water. This shoe is a bit warm, my feet sweat in them on a warm day, but they are supportive and comfy to walk in. The 8.5 that I bought is snug. Back strap as snug as would want it to be, width could have been just a bit wider, baby toe bone gets red.

These sandals are very comfortable; however, they are heavy and clunky. After a full work day I am ready to take them off, but they are also one of the only thing I can wear that does not hurt my feet.

Pretty happy with the Keen Newport. I have three different kinds of Keen sandals (5 pairs total). The Newport is my least favorite because, for some reason, after wearing for about an hour my feet swell and bulge out the side slots. It's not uncomfortable, but looks very odd. I have a very wide foot and have had two knee surgeries. These sandals are quite comfortable.

These shoes are comfortable (I did size up 1/2 size) but I was looking forward to using them for hiking without socks. I wore them just casually and they were fine but the first time I used them for a hike, I got blister on bottom of foot from the sockbed...it is a sueded material, but kind of rough on bare feet. Maybe need to work up to long walks without socks. Also, was able to run a bit with them outside, but not on treadmill...hurt in shin. I would recommend as an addition to your outdoor wardrobe, but not if it's the only pair for hiking.

I found this style to be the most comfortable and supportive of all the Keen sandals (I tried four versions). It is the warmest and heaviest of them all however. The width of this version is also tighter than the others.

I wanted to replace a pair of Venice that I really have loved but I didn't like the colors so I tried out the Newport. I really like the style and support but for some reason, the sandals have a hole right where my baby toe is and it does not hold it snugly in place. The Venice had great baby toe support but not this style. Sounds a bit silly but with time it seems like a real potential blister spot.
