I ordered my usual size. Seems very snug and a bit short and the arch is not in the right place. I’ve owned Keen in the past so I’m disappointed.

These are super cute. The shoe felt very sturdy and well constructed. They felt slightly smaller than my normal size. My toes felt crammed around the toe bed. Also for a sandle, the shoes were very hot. I bought them to walk in and knock around the beach and garden. Sadly, I will have to return these.

My foot fits in the footbed, but they feel very tight even with the fastening elastic loosened. This tightness lessens with wear. They are difficult to put on because the textile material does not stretch much around my ankles. However, I do have a thick ankle compared to my size 7 feet. I ordered 7 medium width. So far I have only worn these shoes inside my home, but plan to keep them.

Tight in the ankles. ROUGH material on heel rubbed a blister first day. I am a SOLID size 9 medium, the pair I tried was a 9.5. I could have used a 10. I had bought these for my daughter who is a 9 wide, and they weren't even close. ORDER A FULL SIZE LARGER. ?

I'm so disappointed with Keen sandals the past 2 years. I was a Newport H2 fan all the way, but this year every one I try on is not consistent in width and length. This brown color was so narrow & tight in my usual Newport size 7! I could have tried a half size larger, but the length would be too long. I did try the Hydro, which has pretty much the same footbed as the Newport H2, so I'll keep those. The Hydro definitely runs 1/2 size too short, just like other reviewers said.

This shoe runs very small. I usually wear a 9 1/2 in Keen sandals....I ordered a 10.....still very small....disappointed!

Very substantial sandal. However, I always wear a 10 1/2 and my toes were hitting the end. So I sent back and going to order an 11. I hope this works as I really liked the sandal.

These fit gift and were the perfect shoe for wearing around Universal Studios.

These shoes have made it through three summer camp seasons! I live in a tropical climate so they are my go-to shoes when I need tennis shoe support but don’t want to wear socks and have my feet fully enclosed. The arch support could be better and my ankles start hurting after wearing them for long walks. They also aren’t particularly stylish although I think they’re sporty enough . A coworker calls them my “Air Jordan Huaraches”.

Love the look of these. I've owned many keens but these were just too narrow & i couldn't go a size larger as i wear an 11 and they don't offer a wide. Shoot. Common Keen, some of us have wide feet.

These sandals are not attractive, but they offer good toe protection and a solid sole for rough walking/climbing. They are very heavy and wide in the front part of the foot. I also don't like the feel of the patterned footbed. They're probably great for heavy-duty activities but they're not what I'm looking for so I'm returning them.

I’m so disappointed in the fit of these sandals. For me I had to order a half size bigger than my regular shoe size because of the length but that’s not a big deal. What is disappointing is that there is not enough room across the top of the foot. It’s like they are made too shallow right across the base of the toes and over the top of the foot. I ordered the coral color. They say made in Mexico. I then ordered another color (the shark color) in the same size and these are much more roomy. Same length but they are definitely deeper at the forefoot and easier to get on because of the extra room. These say made in Cambodia. Now I don’t know if all those made in Mexico are smaller then those made in Cambodia, or if it’s just pot luck but for a $100 sandal there should be consistency in the sizing. Shame on you Keen. I really wanted the coral ones because that color is so much nicer but I’m just not comfortable in them. Thank you Zappos for your amazing return policy. BTW these sandals have a nice squishy bottom with good arch support. The whisper and the Venice have a firmer footbed with slightly less arch support.

Keen brand tend to run small for me. Other than hat I love the fit. Wide across the ball of he foot area, nice fit across the straps top and back around the heel...no rubbing skin raw.

First off, I LOVE keens! Almost all of my shoes are keens. I have been wearing them for many years. I always buy the shoes 1/2 size up from other brands I wear, and they fit great. For some reason this time did not work out. I could not get my toes into front half of the shoe comfortably. It was difficult to even get the shoe all the way on, even with bungees widening them. I felt like they were not the usual fit, and am bummed to be sending them back.

Bought this pair to replace my 10-year-old Newports which are size 8. Needed an 8-1/2 in this H2 style and the Keen website also said to order a half size larger than usual in this style. I use these shoes for walking my dog on trails or the beach, and they are very comfortable for any walking surface. I wish Keen would lose the gloppy toe look, but the H2 style is a little cuter than the regular Newports. I have the teal color and it is nice. Otherwise, I like this brand for walking pretty much anywhere.

Pros: Great sandal. Wears well. Cool on hot days. Love the Bungee ties because I can make this B-width sandal fit my Very Narrow feet!! Cons: Not a lot of arch support for my flat feet. Because of that, I can't wear these for long walks.

I love the fit except my pinkie toe isn’t quite long enough so it gets stuck on the strap sometimes.

Fit and size were fine...rather heavy shoe.

SO disappointed with some obvious changes in the Newport H2! I have a 2-year old pair that was always plenty wide, soft inside and has a perfect fit. This year's Newports, even from Keen itself, are narrower and rougher feeling inside. The top of the sandal presses down on the top of the foot much more than my old ones. And one color I tried had hard spots at the sides of the heel, which you'd constantly feel when walking.

My definition of a well fitting shoe, is when I notice I haven’t thought about my feet in a long while during the day. Keens are like that. I have arthritis in both big toes and usually hate most shoes. Keens are the exception.

I have always bought Keen sandals and literally lived in them until I moved to a Tennessee winter. During the rest of the year it was Keen Venice H2 but now, few available and so I tried Newport H2 ( above). The colors grand but, once on, so tight and no give. I did not give up though. I remembered in the past, once the shoe stretcher we have was placed on the shoe for several days, I could enjoy the shoe. I believe it was because I have a wide foot, so warnings to those with wide feet! The shoe stretcher always works well, so it is a wise investment. It is worthy to note that inside the shoe it can be a bit scratchy rough at first, but guaranteed after wear it smoothes out nicely. Since I have flat feet with a propensity for plantar fascitis, I appreciate the good arch of Newport H2. Sorry it needed to be stretched, maybe that is a noteworthy point to bring up to the Keen manufacturers. I wear a 9 1/2.

I may change my ratings as I wear these shoes, and will explain. In the past I always ordered Keens Venice H2 but the colors dwindled down to dark and same so I sensed they were pushing Newport H2 and after I read the reviews here it seemed to fit what I needed. Flat feet, wide toe box, need for better arch. I literally wear these shoes all the time except when I switch to Brooks tennis shoes in the snowy winter in TN. I followed the suggestion of ordering a half size up which was a 10. I got the immediate delivery and tried to put the Newports on and could not even get my foot in there. But what I have to do with all the Keens every year is stretch them for several days and then all works well. So I am stretching now and hoping for victory.

It took many tries to get the sizing right on this shoe and feel they run a full size small - probably because the toe box will hit your toes if you order your correct US size. The shoe is really ugly on and my husband calls me Bozo when I where them-I agree they are ugly on. That said, I like the arch support and the toe coverage for when I do summer yard work. I will forgo looks for a practical, comfortable, supportive shoe that I can wear all day without inserts.
