This particular style gives me the security of having my foot well protected but still allows plenty of air to cool my feet. It is good for hiking in the hill country where I live. The fit is a little wide, but so are my feet.

This is a great go everywhere sandal whether you are out for a hike & crossing streams or out shopping or dining. My usual Keen sandals are the Targhees which do have somewhat better arch support though I think of Newport arch support as acceptable. The color range for these Newports is incredible. I find this sandal to he very true to size. Some comments on this site suggested runs tight so I ordered a size up; had to return them and get my normal size. BTW, Keens return process works well - had my refund shortly after I dropped the return package off at a UPS pick-up point.

My podiatrist recomended your shoes. Wish you had more shoes in size 16.

I have owned several pairs of keen sandals including the Newport H2. they are very comfortable but I never got the chance to wear any of them out since the glue they use to attach the sole to the rest of the shoe always falls apart.

I bought a new pair of leather Newport H2s. This is actually my third pair. The first two pairs each lasted 7-8 years. This time the leather upper strap/loop that holds the bungee cord laces on the left sandal ripped after about 18 months of normal use. It appears that something has changed in the materials or manufacturing process since the sandal is now not very durable. Other than the broken strap/loop they still look brand new!

The sizing of Newport H2s in size 14 got smaller in 2023. I have purchased at least fifteen pairs of Newport H2s in size 14 over the past decade or so. I wear them every day, all year round. At some point in the first half of 2023, the sizing changed, and new Newport H2s in size 14 became about a half inch shorter in length than pre-2023 Newport H2s in size 14. I thought it might have been a one-time manufacturing error that affected only one or two of the new colors, but I have tried ordering different colors of Newport H2s from different places several times since May 2023, and all of the new size 14s are about a half inch shorter than the pre-2023 pairs I still have in the house. I tried ordering a size 15 instead, but while the 2023 size 15 is now almost exactly the same length from heal to toe as the pre-2023 size 14s, the current size 15 is bigger in other dimensions than the pre-2023 size 14s, and the fit does not work for me.

So, Im trying to get at a place in my life where I were hardly anything but sandals, and these Keens make it easy. They give me comfort and support without restriction, and look outstanding. That is key when trying to pull off a pair of sandals as your dress shoes. Love them!

My second pair as I wanted another colour. My old pair have been around South America Central America and both Australia and New Zealand. They are still in excellent condition and are very comfortable when wearing for long durations. Keep up the good work Keens.

Usually don't bother with reviews, but Keens are such an amazing product that I don't understand why they aren't more ubiquitous. First pair lasted 10+ years and were in great condition until I lost them. Sad day. Bought 2nd pair and extremely happy with them. I recommend them all the time and repeatedly.

Im a big fan of keen shoes, possibly because theyre one of few shoe manufacturers that offer big sizes. I wear a size 16, and theres not a lot of choices for me. Very thankful for keen. Shoe quality is good too, I bought the Newport h2 for an upcoming trip that requires water shoes. This is my second pair of these close toed sandals, my first pair was lost. I also wear keen hiking boots for working construction, because I cant find a work boot that I like, and they hold up well too. I do wish that the keen work boots were available in a 16 Anyway, fit is good, quality is good, I have no complaints

My husband is on at least pair #6 of these, his favorite shoes!

This is my third pair of Keens in this style, and they are the only shoes I ever wear, except with a tux (and dont tempt me). After six years of all-day every-day use, I started to notice slight wear on one of the soles. And I also saw that they happened to be on sale. So I ordered the new pair and the fit just like my old friend, but with that great float and bounce I had forgotten about. So go get them.

2nd pair for my husband. His feet love them.

I've had several pairs over the years and they are comfortable. On everyday use I get about 2 years on a pair.

The top of the heal straps rub the bottoms of my ankle bones, so, unfortunately, I had to return them. I would have tried 1/2 size smaller, in the hope that the strap is a bit smaller/lower, but Keen is out of that size in this sale item.

Usually order size 10, needed a 10.5

First off. My first Keens were the Venice model. Probably the first year they came out. Like a true NWer bought at REI- The big store in Seattle. Tough sell as the toe was so big. This other guy sees my parading around contemplating the navy blue shoe thing on my foot. He says to me, I thought they looked odd at first. But, you will love them. And I did for likely 15? Years. Then came a short lived pair a narrower model. Donated those. The Venice was made for me. However, on to these new-new Newports. In EyePopping - Northern Lights/Sky Captain. Had to swap out to one size up. All easy peasy, the great Keen team settin' me up with a pair of Size 15 - beautiful - Northern Lights/Sky Captain amazing sandals. i b happy....

This is my third pair purchased over the last 4-5 years. The first pair finally wore out. I don't wear any other type of footwear unless I have to.

Look great, fit well. Can't wait for Summer!!

Very comfortable yet durable.

My wife bought these for me and I love them. These are my second Newport sandals. I believe that Keen sandals are superior to the other brands
