Ugly but Unbeatable - I bought a pair for a week of vacationing in Costa Rica and they became essential gear for the jungle, rivers, the beach, just about anywhere. They're somewhat ugly; looking like a pair of sneakers with some ventilation holes cut in them. But they allow you to trudge confidently though the muck and the sand and the dirt. They're easy to slip on and off; the bungee-cord-type tightener works quite well. I highly recommend their use by anyone planning hikes in watery areas, or rafting.

A little bit of foot heaven - I told my friend: "These are the only shoes I've ever worn that rise up and greet my feet" They are soo comfortable that they may persuade me to swear off going barefoot. They look great & feel great and now I think I will be exclusively shopping Keen (well a least for another couple of weeks)

Fast and reliable service...as usual - I've been very pleased with the Newport H2. I also own a pair of Targhees and purchased the Newport for summer wear...boating, kayaking, and casual. Zappos' service was fast and reliable...as usual.

Cool Shoes, Am I? Ok, so there is no doubting this shoe is pretty cool looking. I got it in the reddish brown color and it’s something to see. They are comfortable and airy without feeling insubstantial like a Teevas.

Pleasent Surprise - Received my Newport H2's yesterday and wore them the rest of the day, very comfortable indeed. I have high arches and these Newports did a great job of allowing room without pinching my foot which many shoes do. GREAT PRODUCT, try'em, you will love'em!!

Great boat and water shoe - Bought these for a sailing trip to the Caribbean, tired of having my Tevas slip around in the water. These held tight and were very comfortable, expensive but if they last a while are worth it.

Good - These are good, I wear them on my mountain bike, over my Chako, because I like my toes on my feet. My feet are a perfect size 10, and Keen size 10 fit me perfectly.

I love my Keens- The Keen sandal is probably the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn--I am a surgeon on my feet a lot- and won't tolerate foot discomfort- I live in the cold northeast and have even been wearing them with socks to the office!

These shoes are awesome!!!! After seeing people with Skechers on, I researched this genre of shoe, and discovered Keen on Zappos. I had never seen or heard of this company but quickly discovered they are all about comfort and quality. I bought my first pair to go on a 15 day journey to Mexico, and they delivered on comfort, endurance, breathability and of course style. These are a must for any outdoor activity. Trust me you will only need to take one pair of shoes with you wherever you go, good job Keen.

I'll never wear socks again- An extremely comfy hybrid sandal. The finger loops help pulling on the shoes and the arches mold well to my feet. Great for anywhere you want to go barefoot (well, sort of) but need sneaker-like comfort and some protection. I suggest buying the H2's a half-size smaller if you want to make sure they won't slide around/fly off your feet when wet or sweaty; the bungee lacing system looks nice but I don't use it. I thought I may have made a mistake buying the H2's a touch smaller but they stretched just enough and fit great. I wear them everyday (yes, it's wintertime 2006 when I'm writing this and the cold doesn't bother me).

Keen on Keens - I ordered this pair for my husband. He has a leather pair and wanted something waterproof. He loves them. This style fit well without socks, 1/2 size larger than his usual size. He loves the covered toe and the comfort from the first wearing. He wore his last pair on a two week European vacation right out of the box!

Keen's Size 15 - Excellent fit, true to size. Worked well in shallow waters for flats fishing. Elastic cinch allowed for tightening to prevent excess movement in the water and sand.

Firm but comfortable fit even when wet- We love our Keen Newport H2's! Often when shoes intended for water activities actually come in contact with water, they stretch or the weight of the water moving around the shoe distorts and makes for a sloppy fit. Not these. They are firm, but not tight and yet can easily slide on and off thanks to the bungee ties and fabrics. Love the color choices, too. And why didn't we think to protect our toes in sandals before? Wow, thanks Keen! What a great idea! We love these sandals. Wet or dry, they are very comfortable.

Extreme Comfort- My feet are addicted to Keen's Newport H2. As a result I own three pairs of different colors. I wear them hiking, casually with shorts, and feel a bit dressy when wearing them with long pants. I have had NO foot problems since wearing them for the past two years. Many people have commented on those shoes while I am wearing them and I express my total satisfaction about them. The name should be changed to "Extreme Comfort"!

Wowee! Most comfortable shoe I've worn in 53 years. They do get a few strange looks (especialy in red) but it's well worth it. Great, great shoes! The designer should get a Nobel prize.

A shoe in a sandal - The Newport H2 is an awesome sandal. I have gotten so many compliments and at least 3 of my friends will be buying the H2's as well. No matter how hard I try, I just can't seem to take them off my feet. I will certainly purchase another pair once the pair I currently have need to go.

Great for the outdoors - I use these when I go camping in the RV. There are great for wearing on the beach, in the woods, and in the rivers! The sand and mud rinse right out. On a recent trip to Costa Rica, these were the only shoes I took. Great in the mountains, climbing up (and jumping off) waterfalls, horseback riding, etc. These shoes are not cheap, but I feel they are well worth it.

Great Sandals! The fit and finish is top notch, and the colors look great. They are very comfortable on trails, streams, and on a lazy bike ride. They are warmer than I thought a sandal would be, but not uncomfortable at all. A very contoured footbed means you need to know what size you need, they seem to run the same size as my running shoes.

If you like "sandals"- and who doesn't- then you will... ...love these Keen Newports H2's!! They are good-looking, lightweight and very practical for about every situation (except cold, wet weather). They fit well but seem to run a half size small- I normally wear a 10 but found myself fitting a 10.5. They are very easy to get on and off and last but not least the hard toe and firm arch support makes them a good choice for hiking, bicycling, rafting and most other outdoor activities. The only downside? They are a tad expensive! But then- they are incredibly comfortable and well-built and they should last for a very long time.

Outstanding! FINALLY - an open shoe that meets my needs - comfortable, durable, waterproof, grips wet decks, and looks good too! Very supportive for a sandal. The only drawbacks I've found (as mentioned by others) are that these sandals aren't much fun to wear on sandy beaches (especially when there's sticks and shells in the sand) - sand gets trapped in and is a pain to wash out. They also can get stinky (despite anti-microbial treatment). I rinse them often and toss them in the washer once in a while. Still wearing them in December in Tidewater Virginia (w/ socks) :-)
