I have arthritis in my left and right feet, and normally wear orthotics in both shoes. Occasionally, my left foot has given me problems, making it painful to walk. I have been a beach bum for many years, and am not ready to give up walking the beach, or going into the ocean. My foot/ankle orthopedic surgeon recommended Keen's to me, so I ordered a pair. The shoes are comfortable, functional, and give me a measure of support while walking in conditions of uneven surfaces in the water. The inner soles are cushioned, and absorb shock while walking on hard surfaces. I am comfortable walking on dry sand or in the water on sandy surfaces. While I have given up walking on bare feet as a concession to my problem, I have not had to give up activities on the beach, both in the water, and on shore. After coming out of the salt water, I just rinse the shoes with fresh water, and set them aside to dry. They dry in reasonable quick order, and are ready for use again.

H2O yeah! Perfect for being out in water! I wear these canoeing all summer long.

I love 'em - They're tough, easy to put on, and very comfortable.

Recommend to anyone - These are great shoes. No break in period needed. Wonderful for land and water. I'm on to my second pair because I wore my first pair out! These run about 1/2 size small, so order up in size. If they get too dirty, just pop in the washer. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Awesome versatile shoes! My wife bought these for me for Father's Day and I have to admit I was apprehensive. This much for a pair of sandals seemed high, but it was well worth it. These are the most comfortable shoes/sandals that I have ever worn. They are great for everyday wear, but look good also with some dressier shorts and shirts. They are wonderful in the water and dry quickly and the footbed is very soft. Overall, I can't be any happier. Be advised that they run about 1/2 to 1 full size small, so order a larger size than you normally do. Lastly, ZAPPOS ROCKS! I wanted these for a cruise that I was leaving on in 2 days from when I ordered them. When the CS rep found out they wouldn't be here in time, she immediately upgraded to free overnight shipping. I had the shoes the next morning. I will always stay with Zappos with this type of "customer-first" service approach. Thanks Zappos!

Great Summer Sandal! My husband loves these sandals. Great for walking or boating. Fits well and looks good. He gets tons of compliments when wearing them.

Keen Newport H2 - The Newports are very comfortable and look like great quality. I think they are a little pricey, but if they last as long as I suspect, they will be worth the price.

Bought these for everyone! My sister had the women's version for a trip abroad, then her boyfriend got some, then I got a pair for my husband who absolutely loves them (better without socks) and even my choosy 18 year old son wanted a pair. I also got two more pair as gifts for two young men who are helping us with repairs around the house. These are a WIN, WIN, WIN with every age guy I know from 18 to 60.

Best Walking Shoe - I am a Keen addict. I have a great collection of Keen Newport H2 in a variety of colors for myself. I just bought two new colors from Zappos for myself and I also purchase them for my husband. I used to buy the leather Newports, but I have now switched to Newport H2. Although the leather in the regular Newports is waterproof and washable, I now prefer the H2 web as it dries faster and is lighter on your foot. You can even wash them in the washing machine. My husband already had some Newports, but felt they were a little tight. I just purchased the Newport H2 in bison/brown and in black for my husband and went up a half size from his regular size. As for the ladies, I recommend going up a half size as well. We travel all over the world and found that these are fantastic walking shoes. We even wear them out to dinner as dress shoes when traveling. You can wear them with or without socks, which makes them 3 season sandals/shoes. They are just as wonderful to wear doing errands at home or just walking in the neighborhood. We just got back from Turkey and we got a lot of compliments on our Keen Newports. Everyone asks me where to get them, I always tell them Zappos.com. There are other stores that carry them, but NO ONE has the selection of colors and Keen styles that Zappos does. I have purchased Newports for myself, husband, two sons, daughter, son-in-law, and niece. Both my husband and I now have an outstanding Newport wardrobe in beautiful colors. Thank you Zappos for your outstanding color and style selection and for making shoe shopping not only easy, but one of my favorite hobbies!

Awesome shoe - My husband loves this shoe - he has heel problems and these are comfy for him to walk in and he loves them for the beach!

These shoes are outstanding. I think since I've gotten these shoes, I've basically worn them everywhere except to bed. You can do nearly anything in them - wash your deck (they're waterproof), play tennis, go trail riding, ride a motorcycle - at least these are 4 things I've done in them. Very versatile shoe - highly recommended.

All Day Comfort - I actually never thought about taking off my Keen H2's at the end of the day. These are so comfortable. Great!!!

Great shoes! These are great shoes. Very comfortable, good airflow so my feet don't get hot. Easy on, easy off. I would buy another pair.

Strange but comfortable - At first look they're awkward, but they feel great. A cross between a sandal and water shoe, Keens fit well and provide all-day comfort. They are flexible and secure on your feet. Not a bad choice for the outdoors.

Don't look for a better feel - This is the ultimate walking, hiking, swim and beach wading, all purpose summer shoe. I think the price is inline with any shoe with an anatomical fit and good construction like the Keen Newport H2. I also believe this will be a 3 season shoe when worn with socks. You won't believe the comfort and the rugged construction. It is money well spent - and I have bought my last sandal that isn't a Keen!

Keens are great! The crocks tend to slip on wet surfaces so the Keens keep my little one stable. Worth every penny!

Great shoes for troubled feet - My husband has a lot of discomfort and pain with his feet and has been diagnosed with RSD. These shoes are the ONLY ones that are comfortable for him.

Super duper the ultimate - My stylist was wearing a pair of these and I asked him if he liked them, he raved about them, so I bought a pair. I love them, so I bought the leather and cloth for my husband. He says they are they most comfortable and best fitting shoes he has ever owned, you won't be sorry if you try these.

Keen Newport H2 - Great shoe for all outdoor activities. I wear it around the pool and in the boat. Non slip sole is perfect for playing around the water.

Comfortable & cool looking - My husband got these. Normally wears between 8.5 and 9 and the 9 fit. Immediately felt comfortable and wore them all day. I'm a fan of how they look.

Keens in Wisconsin - My wife said I should try these H2's, I've had 3 pairs of Teva’s before and enjoyed every pair. So far after 3 weeks, which is not a lot of time in them they feel great. Now Zappos I can't thank your staff enough for all your help and service. Because folks this really happened I ordered a pair to small ,so I called Zappos told them I would like to exchange for a bigger size, the next day I had the new pair which they shipped express mail. That's what makes this company great.
