Great Shoe! These are great shoes! I have arthritis in my insteps of my feet and they tend to swell. Since the shoes have velcro on them, I can loosen them as the day goes on. I wore these while walking at Disney World.

Satisfaction Guaranteed - I ordered the Propet Island Walker for an elderly lady whose feet were swelling badly and could not get shoes that would fit in the morning and the afternoon, too. She loves these shoes, as they can be adjusted in a matter of seconds, they are very comfortable, and although she is unsteady on her feet (she's 99 years old), these shoes give her a good grip on the floor. Thank you. I hope you have them in another color, too.

Comfortable sandal - This is a very comfortable sandal. I have difficult feet to fit and this fit quite well. I ordered it in a narrow, and it is still a little wide. It is a little orthopedic looking--but not too bad. I didn't have to break them in at all. The service at Zappos was wonderful--they came overnight and I didn't order them until late afternoon.

Joan of Art - This shoe looks like an "orthopedic" type shoe and not very stylish. However, except for the pressure of the back buckle against my ankle, I found the shoe to be comfortable otherwise.

My Propét Island sandals are great for the purpose they were purchased -- a fun, well-fitted shoe for many informal summer actives. An added benefit is the unbelievable service given by Zappos. I placed my order late one Friday evening. The sandals arrived the next Monday noon. Unbelievable!! Zappos is one of very few places where I can find narrow (AA) shoes. Thank you!!

Spacious comfortable sandal - This Propet Island Walker has plenty of comfort for problem feet. Easy to put on and adjust. I like the extra width if I want to wear a light sock with it.

Zappos review - I have a pair of these shoes in blue and in pink. They are not stylish looking... but they are very comfortable. My sister calls them my 'old lady' shoes. NOTE: No matter what shoe you buy... Zappos is an extremely good company to deal with. I have bookmarked them in my 'favorites'.

The sandal is comfortable and I love that I can adjust the width to my "strange" shaped feet. I have a large bunion and hammertoe. They could use a bit more flexibility...they don’t "bend" well when I walk...and I would have liked the arch to be more built up.

Feels great! Ugly shoe but very comfortable for walking and shopping. Will enjoy this only for comfort, not looks!

Sandal - The sandal looks and feels great, but it covers more of the foot that I thought it would on sides. That's OK except on really hot days.

Thank goodness for comfortable shoes! It is a wonderful thing when you can put on a pair of sandals or shoes and not have to break them in. I really like how I can walk all day and not have sore feet at all. The velcro could be a little longer so that the tabs don't stick up, but other than that I love them. They are not the most attractive thing going, but they do look good with shorts or capris.

Nice looking comfort sandal - Overall I'm pretty happy with this sandal. It is about 1/2 size smaller than marked. I almost returned it for that reason. My toes are right at the end, which is not how I usually wear my sandals. I did get a blister on my little toe the first time I wore them for all day. I wear them without socks. I may not have had the Velcro adjustment snug enough, so it may have been my own fault. It was difficult to get the velcro adjustment just right. The comfort level other than that was pretty good, especially for me....I'm heavier than I should be and I find it difficult to find really comfortable shoes. I rated the arch support only moderate. They are nice looking for a comfort sandal...not too clunky, especially if you want something a little dressier than an athletic style sandal.

Nancy from Parker, Colorado - This shoe is nice but feels a bit big. I usually take a wide size and that's what I ordered, but in this shoe I might have liked the medium width better. If I order this brand again I will order medium width. I find myself constantly trying to tighten the velcro. Still, sole is well-cushioned and nice on the foot, and the shoe is well made. Great for walking. And great service from Zappos.

Nice Color - I wasn't able to wear these sandals due to my having foot issues. I've had surgery and this shoe didn't have enough support on the sides. The blue color is nice and if you don't need support for the sides of your feet, this shoe will work well. Great shoe for flat feet too.

Nice color, good fit - I like the denim color blue of these sandels but more than than they fit nice and feel great! They are my second favorite pair of sandels. This is the first pair of Propet's I've owned and I would buy them again, but only after Clark's.

Propet Island Walker - I have a VERY narrow foot and need something comfortable since I am on my feet all day. These sandals certainly aren't very stylish but they are quite comfortable and narrow enough. Zappos quick shipping & customer service is the best!!! I purchase most of my shoes from Zappos and have never had a problem returning the shoes that ran too wide for me.

Pleased with the Propet Island Walker - This shoe is super comfortable but runs a little wide. Definitely for someone looking for comfort and adjustability.

Propets island walker - Shoe looks better when it's on the foot. Lining would be more attractive in a darker color and I'm going to have that done at the shoe repair shop. Shoe id definitely wider than marked

Island Walker meets 12 hour flight time - These shoes look nice and dressy enough for casual up scale pant suits. The ability to loosen the straps was valuable during long flight time when your feet swell. Problem is that when you do this be prepared for the velcro to stick to the fabric of your pant leg bottom:cuffed pant leg would have worked. Nice dress pant got ruined. The sole has ridged "bubbles" this takes a little time to get used to but helps tired feet with a massage type effect. CAUTION: The bottom of the sole is DANGEROUSLY SLICK use EXTREME CARE when first walking in these sandals. Any elderly folks or people with balance problems should rough up the bottom before walking - You will lose your balance entering and exiting cars, planes and any carpeted surfaces. I have worn these sandals for two weeks and still encounter some slipppery situations. Overall this is a great sandal and is very comfortable to walk in and I experienced less pain and burning of my feet when wearing them.PLEASE make sure that you take the precautionary steps that I suggested for your own safety.

The sandal is comfortable, but the leather is a little stiff; I'd prefer a softer leather for the upper.

Feel better than they look - On receiving these, they weren't quite the style I was looking for, but once I tried them on I was sold. The blue matches with more than I expected. The only problem I see with them is the light colored suede on the footbed. After repeated use, I can see them darkening and not looking as good. Overall a very good buy, and a great fit.

Best lately - With my foot troubles: bunions, hammertoe (from limping because of Parkinson's), wide feet & high instep, the Island Walker is the best sandal so far. I'd like more contouring. That might form naturally as my foot presses into the footbed. I wish more shoe companies would line their footbeds with leather, as Propet has done on this sandal. Vinyl gives me blisters. The adjustability of the velcro is WONDERFUL. The 8WW fits my feet as expected. But less coverage on top for a less clunky look, please. They look like nurse shoes. My "funny tan" is a small price to pay for comfort. I'd bought the Propet Ripple Walker first, which looks nicer. The Island Walker feels better. Zappo's honored the price guarantee even though the other company was going to make me wait a month. And I had my Island Walkers from Zappo's the next day, again. Zappo's has my business! Zappo's is a 6 star company!

Comfort didn't last - Shoes seemed comfortable at first. But, after wearing them for several hours, abrasions on my small toe and top of foot appeared. The strap edges need softening. I suggest wearing socks with these shoes to avoid this problem.

Shoe was all right - The shoe was alright, but it wasn't what I expected. The color was very nice, and the fit was a little to wide, I usually order a WW but this shoe seemed to wide for a 2w. I tighten up the back strap but then it makes my foot come forward. I probably would try just a single w if I order any more of this brand again.

Really disappointed - I bought this sandal because it looked like a comfortable walking sandal. (Seduced by "Walker" in the name, I suppose.) I'm disappointed. The fit feels wider than a B, and the footbed has minimal cushioning and NO arch support. I wore them around for a few days to let my feet get used to them, then wore them on an actual walk (45 minutes, semi-brisk pace). The next day I had a terrible blister on each little toe, and my feet ached from the lack of arch support. It LOOKS comfortable, but for me at least, it really isn't. Maybe I just expected too much.
