Finally - After trying on an endless amount of shoes in search of the most comfortable, I finally found it! It was comfortable from the get go! No breaking in period. The only concern that I have is that the leather is so soft that the back strap has stretched somewhat. The good thing is that I can tighten the velcro strap as needed. I highly recommend this shoe for comfort and looks.

Loved the shoes except they were too narrow for my feet. I usually wear a medium width but I would need a wide in this style.

The style and support of the shoe were great, but I ordered based on my typical European size and the shoes were half a size too short. They also were a bit narrower than my other NAOTs. So, they had to go back.

I normally wear a medium width, but these were too narrow. My feet didn’t fit nicely within the foot bed. I wish you cared these in a wide, as otherwise, I liked them.

The fit and size was just right. I bought these shoes based on the arch support - they were amazing the minute I put them on. I purchased them for vacation, knowing I would be on my feet a lot. In 12 days we averaged 10 miles per day and I was so happy that I splurged and bought these sandals. My only negative is that after all those steps, the velcro seems to be less secure, I need to adjust the strap as the day goes on. But again, in the short time that I've owned them, I really did a lot of walking, certainly more than average wear.

What is narrower than expected for a wide?

the straps over the toes are too loose and there's no way to tighten them. sad.

The ankle strap compensates somewhat for the wide toe straps.

The design features roomy toe straps so the ankle strap is important. Footbed is very comfy.

37 EU size felt 1/2 size smaller than 37 Ardesia. Unfortunately, Ardesia leather upper is too large for my instep. Left Kayla sandal has an exceptionally noticeable leather upper blemish as well. Love Naots but having a hard time with recent orders. :( Will try again. Very grateful I can shop online and return without shipping cost!

Size was good, but the soles felt slippery to me.

I have a C width foot, which is not narrow, nor is it wide. Most people have a B or a C width. In most of Naot’s shoes, I can wear their standard width, but not with the Kayla. I’m exchanging these for the wide width version, and we’ll see how I do. If you do not normally need a wide width, but sometimes find sandals to be narrow, pass on this one and get the Wide version.

These sandals are incredibly comfortable, and provide just the right amount of support. Not too flat, not too high. But the strap rubs against a bunion on one foot and the leather is a bit rough there. Although I am hoping that further breaking in will help the issue, for now I can wear the sandals for only an hour or two, and not when I'm doing lots of walking. But I love the look and will keep wearing them!

The fit was slightly narrower than I would have liked but I would have kept them anyway. Unfortunately, the material on the strap looked defective (like it had flaked off) and for the price, I’m not willing to accept it.

the shoes are damaged, one strap has a mark on it. Please exchange for non damaged ones. Also I have bought these sandals many times - the straps stretch.

Fit perfectly and felt so nice! BUT the strange color of navy - metallic! Guess I didn't see that in the photos or read it if it's in the description. I'll order another color like a brown

I have these sandals in other colors but the leather on these was stiff and hurt my feet.

Cute shoes. I bought them in red and black. The black fit snugly and need to loosen up just a bit, but the leather is soft and they feel comfortable. The red, however, were too tight in the lower foot, and the leather was stiffer than the black. I think a half size larger would work better.

I really wanted to keep these shoes but I already had too many black sandals and this shoe only comes in Black or Tan in Wide. The tan is just too yellow for my pale skin and returned that one too. The shoes however have excellent arch support and are well made with is so very hard to find anymore in women's sandals. I wish Naot made more wides because they are great shoes.

these are probably great shoes if you like arch support (as I do) BUT the front (toe area) runs very narrow - great casual shoe that can be worn with dresses also but unfortunately I can not wear them - had to return

I’ve worn this model before and loved it. This pair though was imperfect in that the straps didn't match up when looking at my feet.

The Kayla I purchased seemed wider than the last ones I bought. I hope you'll make it and many other styles in narrow in the future.
