Super cute sandals for my 4 yr old that works with any summer outfit! My sister and I used to have these as kids, love that they are still around!

Such a cute shoe. Unfortunately, they rubbed a little bit inside the ankle the first time. They probably needed to be broken in by my daughter wearing them around for a day with socks on or something, but now they are great. Super cute and timeless, get compliments every time she wears them.

Yes these are great we had the classic sole last summer in white, which we liked. However this softer sole is more comfortable and the red is a more practical color. A great all round summer sandal which you can also get wet. Love it!

We love, love, love our Salt Waters! Good quality sandal, soft leather, they hold up very well to my toddler. We actually have 7 pair of Salt Water sandals in different colors!

Cute! Very versatile and they're cute enough for being quite dressy but can be worn to the beach too! I like the gum sole better than the classic flat bottom for little ones, since it is more cushioned. If your 2 year old is like mine, they run more than they walk no matter what they're wearing. My daughter is pretty picky about shoes and won't even let me finish putting them on her if they seem uncomfortable, but she loves these. I'm so glad we got them.

These are wonderful shoes! I ordered a pair in brown size 8. My 2.5 -year old is "guilty" of constantly taking his shoes off, so the teachers at the day care asked me to find something with a strap on. I ordered these, and the first pair didn't fit (my son's feet measure size 7), so I ordered one size up, and they fit perfectly. Today was the first day my son wore them. I was a little scared that they were going to rub, but everything was fine. My son wore them the whole day, and his feet don't have any redness, there was no rubbing. When we took off the shoes, there were no marks on his feet as if he hadn't worn them for 9 hours. The leather is really soft, and the shoes are really airy. And my son wasn't able to take them off because of the strap, so he just gave up and went on on playing! I am definitely going to order one more pair in blue, and I think with two pairs of these shoes we are going to be set for summer.

These are the best sandals I have bought for my girls! No rubbing from hard leather, perfect for babies with a thick foot (my 22 month old has a thick, but not really a wide foot)! She walks great in them and everyone asks where I bought them! I would choose these over Stride Rite any day! I love them!

I ordered these sandals for my granddaughter last month. When I put them on her feet she loved them. She wears a 6.5, but we bought all her summer shoes in a size 7. These sandals fit to a tee. They look nice with what ever she puts on. I wanted to order another pair but I had reached my limit. But I will not forget this brand for next summer. The style made me thing of sandal styles from the 1960's and early 70's.

This red sandal is adorable! Quality leather with a classic design. This style is better than the original flat sole Salt Water sandal because it provides more cushion/support and is not so slippery. I found that the original flat sole sandal is quite slippery and a bit too hard/flat. I would also say this runs about a 1/2 size smaller than normal.

Classic-wear with everything! These shoes harken back to the days when children's shoes didn't have flashing lights, goofy characters, and were just plain well made. These shoes may take a wear or two to break in, but it is well worth it. The leather is real; the footbed is super comfy (compared to the flatter salt water sandal). My very picky daughter loves them. The buckle is a bit of a challenge for her though I feel when the shoes are better worn in it will get easier.

Comfy Saltwater Sandals - As a wearer of Salt Water sandals when I was little, I thought it would be fun for my 2 year old daughter to continue the tradition, but wasn't sure how comfortable the original sandal would be since there didn't seem to be any arch support in them. After searching on Zappos, I found the "swimmer" version of the Salt Water, which has a thicker sole, which to me looked more cushy and comfortable for her. A day after ordering them, I received an e-mail from Zappos saying that my shipping had been upgraded and the next thing I knew, the shoes were here! My daughter has worn them a few times and loves them, and they look great in everything from pants to shorts to dresses. We love them and look forward to ordering from Zappos again soon!

Excellent shoes. We love the beach. These shoes are perfect for summer. These are second pair I’ve purchased for my daughter because they are so great! Can be worn with dress or bathing suit. A must have for every toddler!

Great alternative to the original saltwater sandal! These sandals have a softer, thicker footbed than the original saltwater sandal, which seems to increase comfort in the arch of the foot. My very active two-year old daughter runs freely in them, as though she were wearing tennies! The only drawback was that we had to order a size up because they seem to run a bit narrow. I highly recommend these as a great alternative to the orginal saltwater sandal!

My experience with Zappos - The whole porcess for me turned out great, from ordering to receiving. I ordered my shoe on a Thursday night and received them on Monday afternoon. The shoe was exactly as described and wonderful quality. My daughter loves them and so does Mom! Actually I was planning on visiting again soon to make another purchase for my other daughter who just turned 1 last month. I have also recommended your web site for shoe orders to many people. We like these sandals, but they did give my kid blisters on the inside of her feet for the first few days. So if your toddler has chubby feet, maybe order a size up? They seemed to run a bit small.

Gorgeous, classic, unisex. The inside of the leather is so soft. There is quite a difference in the sizes, which is why I gave it 4 stars out of 5. I ordered the 12 and it was far too small for my son's foot. He has lots of room in the 13. Wish there were a half size to get a better fit, but I suppose this way, one pair will last all summer. The leather does stretch to comfortably fit a wider foot. My son hates the feel of sandals, but he reaches for these over his Velcro/neoprene sandals every time. The sole is very flexible, great for growing feet. I love that they can go from pool and sprinkler fun to a dressy event. Will definitely be investing in more salt waters in the future. Wish they came in a matte dark purple, as it's my son's favorite color but the shiny purple looks too girlie.

These are really cute and obviously of high quality. They are far better constructed than most girls' sandals. However, we got white, and I have to actually put them in the sink and wash them with soap on a regular basis, or they look extremely grubby. The white has also rubbed off the footbed in the toe and heel area. If you are getting these for an active young child who plays hard in the dirt, I recommend against white.

I bought these shoes in red for my daughter. They are comfortable, sturdy and well made. They go well with shorts or dresses.

Got these for my 15 month old in brown. They are about the cutest little things in the whole world. Pros- adorable, lightweight, water doesn\\\'t bother them, soft leather, leaves no marks on her feet, she can wear them with everything, from her fanciest dresses to her most casual play clothes. Cons- sole is completely flat and rather stiff, but she walks well in them anyway. Also I got these and the Originals, kept these because the Originals had an even harder sole.

I was looking for red sandals for less than $60 and I was not happy with Zappos selection. I bought these because of the great reviews. My child absolutely loves her new sandals - NO complaints! The only problem is her flat feet that need arch support. These sandals have zero arch support. I would still prefer European brands.

Kids really loved them. We bought a red pair for my daughter and blue for my son. The red pair is fine, but the blue pair wore out on the bottom with cracks and wore right through the sole after about 10 wearings. The blue pair sole felt a lot softer than the red. Very strange!

I do not know what happened with these sandals. I purchased a pair 2 years ago for my daughter. The last pair lasted 2 years. This pair she has worn maybe 20 times and the sole has almost cracked in half on the bottom of one shoe. There are 3 spots where it started to crack. The other shoe is holding up fine. Sad. :(

My daughter absolutely loves her sandals! They are beautiful and comfortable too. I also love that they can get wet and not cause any issues.

These are great! My daughter(18months) is tall and has larger feet (size7) and her foot is still developing. I had originally bought the very trendy Freshly Picked sandals/clogs and she clomps around this and the sole is really stiff; which is unlike her other shoes. As soon as she put these on, she was running and I could tell they were a great fit for foot. The thicker sole is also a plus! No clomping ! These are tried and true. Should have bought a long time ago. I will be purchasing more of these classic sandals.
