1st time I purchased shoes from Zappo's. Impressed with service. The Chaco sandals fit well though the toe loop is a bit uncomfortable at present. I like the adjustablility of the strap. Time will tell on durability however I like the 'fit and finish.'

Chacos gives great service - I was excited about my Z/2's as I had heard so many great things about Chacos, their durability and fit. Upon trying them on I was disappointed to find that they didn't fit me well. I called the company and they offered to shorten the straps for free. I sent the shoes to the manufacturer and had them back in a week with a perfect fit!

Great shoe - Very comfortable and sturdy.

Best sandals I've ever owned - These are the most comfortable, best-fitting sandals I've ever owned. I have a fairly narrow, high-arched foot, and the combination of the adjustable straps and the anatomical sole permit a truly custom fit.

Chacos rule! These are the most supportive versatile and comfortable sandals ever made. I am on my feet most of the day and whether you are swimming hiking, going to museums, etc., these shoes never let me down. Give them a few days to get adjusted and you'll see what I mean.

Me and my Chaco's - It took me a bit to get the straps adjusted to my feet, but that is the key, you adjust them to "your feet". They give you good support and stability if they are dry or wet. They feel good, look good, and are easy to clean.

Breaking in Chaco's - I read many rave reviews about the comfort of Chacos but having wide feet it was hard to find a pair in a store that I could try on. I ordered online and got exactly what I wanted. They are very comfortable but take a few days to get used to - it is hard to find the right tightness of the straps in order feel my foot is securely on the sandal without actually having the sensation that my big toe was being cut off.

great company great shoes. As usual, Zappos is the greatest Internet shopping experience. On to the shoes... they are pretty comfy arch-support-wise. The toe loop can be a tad annoying and I swear it took me forever to figure out tightening the straps. I really like the Chaco's though... great shoes.

excellent sandel - Very comfortable and fit. Foot stays firmly in place during long hikes (no sliding out of the straps). The shoes are a bit heavy when compared to other recreational shoes and the actual color was darker than pictured.

Short Straps - The straps are too short. I had to send the sandals back to Chaco to have the straps lengthened. There was a small charge plus shipping expenses.

The best is yet to come - I purchased these sandals in the dead of the northern hemisphere winter and got a week or so's use out of them before it just got too cold (and snowy!) to wear them. However, I bought them in anticipation of using them in the southern hemisphere where I will be for six months this year and where it's bound to be warmer (New Zealand). I'm satisfied with them so far, and I am excited for the incredible places they will take me in a few months.

Toe strap trouble - Overall fit was fine, toe strap is too tight and not adjustable.

I just got a pair of z/2 matrixes. The z/2 toe part is very uncomfortable no matter how you tie it. It's also unnecessary, as I found out. Also, the strapping broke off its stiching at the left rear of the right sandal after 1 minute of running. Also, the sandal seemed unusually long for its width ( I have average width feet). I like my old, Nevados sandals that have still held up over 3 years. Chaco, you have dissapointed me.
