I wanted a pair of unique, durable, attractive, and comfortable sneakers for everyday wear. I got everything I came for! The original footbed does lack arch support, but with very little effort you can pull up the bed and stick in an orthotic (Superfeet, in my case) or other alternate footbed. My only complaint is that they are super slippery on smooth, wet surfaces due to the material of the sole, so I plan to visit a shoe repair place to see if something can be done. They're all leather, a bit darker and more purple-red than in the picture (more like port or red wine, in fact), comfortable, and have gotten me loads of compliments! The sides are not padded, which allows the leather to mold to your feet a bit more. The tongue, however, is padded and the laces thread through it to keep it in place. All in all, I am in love with these shoes and will wear them out with glee.

I bought a pair of Mexico 66's back in 2005. In the five years since, I haven't found a single pair of street shoes to rival Onitsuka, with the possible exception of Puma's 5000m (which they don't make anymore). My new pair somehow seems to have a bit more arch support than the pair I bought back in '05.

I love these shoes. Needed to order a 1/2 size up for best fit. These dark brown pair fit like a glove. I would recommend these to anyone who wants a great fitting comfortable shoe.

Great low-profile shoe that lasts forever. A little too bright white for me at first, but it gets better when I wear them in.

These shoes are amazing! They are so comfortable and very durable. Easy to pack and can be used for running (if you don't feel like taking a casual shoe and a running shoe along with you on vacation). What I also liked was the option of tucking the back "tiger" flap in, or leaving it out. I personally like it better tucked in, but looks cool both ways. I plan on buying another pair, well worth the price.

Love these shoes! Very comfortable, and I get many comments on them. My only complaint is the tongue seems to ride over to the side. Other than that, great shoes! Oh, and Zappos, you guys rock!

Awesome kicks! Just got them today! I took the advice of other customers. Normally I wear a 7.5, but I got the 7's and they fit perfectly. The slight arch support is just enough. I would not recommend any major physical activity, but for cute kicks, they do the trick. They won't disappoint. Enjoy!

Great shoes! Comfortable, look great. My feet run wide, so Pumas are too narrow for me, but Asics feel just right.

These shoes are great! I\'ve had them for quite some time, and they\'ve become accustomed to my feet. They\'re resilient, I\'ve walked through rain sleet and sludge with them and they\'ve always come out on top (after a little washing of course). Anyway, this is a pretty solid shoe.

I bought the brown leather shoes. These are truly awesome shoes. They are more comfortable and lighter than the 81s, which I didn't think was possible. Only negative is the felt on the toe - although it pretty much blends in, I wish they had picked a different material.

These shoes are very comfortable. Your heel seems to sit a little lower than expected, if that makes sense. The tongue does have a tendency to slide to the side, but the laces can be used to hold it in place. Overall: highly recommend.

True fit. Very comfortable. Very cool shoes. My only complaint is the tab on the back of the shoes never stays down.

The Mexico 66 Onitzuka Tiger are the most comfortable shoes I've found ever. I've been using them since 2005. I use them all day long every day. They are cool, lightweight and the best is the support they offer. I always find them in Zappos.com and they ship them quick!

I really like these shoes. Although they're unisex (I'm a woman), they're not clunky or too wide. I love the subtle colors of the pair I bought. And I really love the fact that although or maybe because they have no arch support, they will take an orthotic. For casual occasions that require a lot of walking, they're a step up from athletic shoes, a nice compromise between support and style.

I was glad I could still find these shoes around. Practically, I have been wearing them almost every day, rain or shine (sometimes snow) for 6 years. Maybe it's personal, but they fit my long sleek foot perfectly and very comfortably and, unlike other shoes they don't make me look like Goofy (I wear a size 8). This particular color combination can be worn with almost every outfit that is not formal. I absolutely love these shoes. They have given up only after 6 years of continuous use and over 10 rides in my washing machine, and they still looked cool at the bottom of my trash can.

Zappos provided me one of the best online transactions I have ever experienced! Everything is upfront, the price, free shipping, and the return policy. It's hard to believe that they are willing to provide a 1 year return policy but they really do stay true to their words because I had my first purchase returned. My sister did not like the first pair I gave her so I decided to send it back and wait until they had the one she was looking for. Zappos gave me the option to either receive back full credit or to keep store credit with free 1-day air mail! I decided to choose the store credit option. When my sister finally found the current pair that I am reviewing, the shoes came in 1 day in immaculate condition! Love these! LOVE! I am a woman with wide feet and big ankles...I have a terrible time fitting in anything other than Birkenstock sandals and Teva flip flops! My husband suggested I try men's or unisex sneakers to see if they would be better. I had a pair of Tigers way back in high school (yikes, 1970's) and I remembered that I loved them and hated to see them go when they were worn out...so I tried these and they are great! I love that they are leather but still lightweight and not bulky. NO sore spots or break in period. LOVE these. (I hate those stiff tan or white old lady clod hopper so called 'walking shoes' that feel like one is wearing a lead box on their foot! Not too mention how awful they look!)These have enough support for walking on the street or paved path, I wouldn't use them on a trail or slick surface because there isn't much texture on the bottom. Have worn them for an entire day with NO pain, I have heel spurs, often have ankle pain, arch pain, etc!!! So happy to get these. Probably will get another color! Thanks for the fast shipping! Now, if I could only find the perfect high heels!

Really comfortable, and great looking - I get compliments on them all the time. The shoe is lightweight and the sole is pretty thin and flexible, so it hardly feels like you are wearing anything. I\'ve had them for a year now, and because the rubber is pretty soft the minimal tread is getting worn down, but otherwise they have held up well. Great shoes.

I really love the tiger. I had a pair that lasted about a year and I wore them out. I just received my second pair and they feel great, even better - perfect fit, design and feel great for cycling, walking the dog. You know highly highly recommended!

I will keep this review short and simple. The shoes themselves look really nice and feel great. But…If you have wide feet I recommend ordering them a little bigger because they are somewhat narrow shoes. Great for casual situations and walking.

Great casual shoe and very stylish. There is minimal arch support; however, it is still comfortable for a day of walking around.

I love this shoe! It almost feels like you don\'t have shoes on, and it\'s super stylish. I don\'t use it for working out, I don\'t think it is designed for that though. I just wear it for casual days since traditional tennis shoes are not that fashionable.
