I love the Tigers. I've had an old pair for years and decided to upgrade to a newer pair that I could respectably wear to work. The only thing that would give these shoes 5 stars is if the little flap in the back would stay down right from the get-go. It takes a few weeks of wearing to get the flap to stay down, but other than that - love these shoes!

These shoes are a classic throwback to a simpler time. Sleek and well-made, they evoke the period of running's glory days. Though they don't feature today's high tech innovations of cushioning and support in running shoes technology, they are great for kicking around and dressing down. They go well with a track suit or jeans. I like to wear them when driving as well.

In a word: awesome in many words. Comfy, stylish, all around some of my favorite shoes.

I got these a year ago for less. They look to be more now, and I'm not certain that's a great deal. Still, solid shoes to this day. I use them for running and for every day walking when sandals won't do. The sole has faded a bit, but the shoes are otherwise undamaged after a year of heavy use. They've held up far better than I ever expected. The only problem is that they make an annoying noise when walking on wet tile. Or when they get wet and you walk on dry tile. Basically, water, plus tile, plus these shoes equals annoying noise.

I ordered my Onitsuka Tiger a few weeks ago and used Zappos for the first time. My shoes are great! They really comfortable and look great with my dark color jeans. I'm thinking on buying another pair on a different color. Regarding the service, Zappos really stand up to their beliefs on customer satisfaction. I had a problem with the delivery of the package and they took care of the problem right away. I had my shoes the next day.

The Mexico 66 is a great shoe. Classic styling makes this shoe stand out. The only thing to be aware of is that it has very little structural support in the upper or in the soul.

I saw these shoes when I went to New York last fall; this spring I found them online at Zappos. At the time they were out of my size, I was notified by email when my size became available. It was within a few weeks. These are the most comfortable tennis shoes I have ever had. Love the look.

Super comfy and they look great. Love the color and design. They feel like slippers. Only reg flag is that they are solid leather with no vents, may not breathe too well.

I've heard many a tale about the incredible style of this shoe. Boy howdy, were they right. I'm a runner myself, and I have a nostalgic soft spot for the retro track shoe look, so these were a no-brainer purchase. They took a few weeks to really wear in, but once they morphed to my feet, they'd become the perfect casual shoe.

I've never been this happier getting a new pair of shoes! I love it. The arch support is just right for my kind of feet! And Zappos service? Don't ask me. They are awesome!

These shoes are super sharp, and most importantly, comfortable! I broke my heel recently, and have had lots of problems with my other shoes. I ordered these, and I can wear them all day long without any pain. They are top quality, and hold up well to whatever you throw at them. You can't go wrong with Asics.

I bought 2 pairs, one white w/ blue stripes and the other black w/ grey for my daughters. My girls are teenagers and they loved them! The shoe does run about a half size larger. They are very stylish. Now my wife wants a pair.

My favorite all-around shoe. Comfortable, light, and stylish. It meets all my needs for a great sneaker. I will continue to be a loyal Onitsuka Tiger buyer for days to come.

Great sneaker! This is the second pair of Tiger's I've owned. They're really comfortable and look great.

I am on my third pair of these shoes -- not because they're crappy, but because they're literally all I wear! I even wore them exclusively on a 3 month long trip menacing my way through Europe on foot! Shoe perfection! They will be stiff when you first get them, but they will soften up to be quite sock-like. Because of this softening and stretching, you may want to consider getting the shoe half a size smaller than you normally would wear a sneaker (just so it's snug). It's a little weird feeling at first, but after stretching they'll fit perfectly. Basically, I wear these shoes in the same size I wear sandals. But with Zappos' crazy fast, crazy free shipping, who cares if it doesn't fit! Oh, also beware the tread! It's these little pyramids, but after wearing them down, stepping on mud, ice, wet moss, wet leaves, etc. gets even more precarious than normal.

I like a lot Onitsuka Tiger. The shoes fit me very well even when I didn't try it before. They are light and really comfortable. The delivery was in time. Zappos is my first choice to buy shoes!

Great shoes and Zappos made it really easy to order and to return pair of Puma Lab that I got and didn't like. They are a bit larger than my old shoes with the same size mark, but not a big deal.

I bought these for my son. He had a pair before and loved them. They were no longer available at the store and said they didn't come in half sizes. Zappos was the only place we could find them. The first size we ordered were incorrect...no problem! We re-ordered them in a half size. Easy exchange process. Bottom line, the shoes are great and so is Zappos!

Very stylie looking but wear out very quickly. The felt started pilling within the first few hours of just walking around & seams are splitting after wearing for less than a week. Kind of like wearing hospital slippers, I'm pretty sure they will tear to shreds or disintegrate on contact with water. I don't think these are actually meant to be worn by guys who move around and do stuff. I'm a traveling photographer so my shoes get a lot of wear and I've never had a pair of shoes fall apart this quickly, and they've hardly left the studio! But they look cool, so if you're into standing still and looking good.

First off, I am a barefoot runner and generally dislike shoes. But these are among my favorite shoes. My first pair I bought in a brick-and-mortar store, and absolutely loved them. I wore them for at least three years before they started looking rather lived-in and I decided I should get another pair. I still wear the old ones when the weather is crumby so I can keep the new ones looking nice. The pair I am reviewing is the birch/indian ink/latte leather pair. They look great when they are clean and new. Go great with jeans, and have a simple, retro-athletic, laid-back-yet-stylish look. The upper on the leather versions are very long-lasting... my old pair still has no holes and they just keep getting more comfortable. Finally, I am a fan of the minimal sole (I love going barefoot whenever feasible), but this is a very personal thing. The leather ones do not breath well at all. My feet smell bad every time I take them off. The heel cup on this newer pair is very stiff and really dug into my Achilles the first few days I wore them. The leather breaks in however and they get more comfortable every day. Finally, the outsole is made up of many small, raised pyramid shapes which do not have very good traction and wear down pretty quickly. Watch out in winter for the ice and be sure you do not drag your feet. Overall, some of the favorite shoes of this self-proclaimed hater of shoes. If you get the mesh or suede versions then the smell issue might not be as bad. Also, you can sprinkle some baking powder inside now and then to alleviate the issue.

Overall a great pair of shoes. But I was surprised that the shoes themselves aren't stiff, they're actually kinda floppy.

I can't say much about the long-term comfort, because I just got these in the mail today (after ordering them early yesterday afternoon), but I absolutely love them! I measured my foot in centimeters and used the sizing chart to figure out my size and they fit perfectly! They're definitely low profile and they look great with my skinny jeans. They are exactly what I was looking for. I might even have to get another pair in a different color scheme!

I just returned from a mission trip to a Mayan village in Guatemala where there was rough terrain and a ton of walking. Last year I went and my feet were so sore every night. This time I wore my Onitsuka Tiger's and not once did my feet get sore! I even walked way more on this trip and did a 20 mile bike ride in the valley. I tell everyone about these shoes!

I've decided to continue on my Onitsuka Tiger adventure. These shoes are very comfortable, but not as comfortable as the 81s. I plan to purchase another pair very soon!
