Looks Good, Feels Bad -
I've owned Asics before and they were really comfortable, but the arch on this shoe is really high and not cushioned very well. I like the shoe but it's rather uncomfortable.

Classic 60's asic, excellent for bicycle toe clips!
Great sleek looking shoe. Sole is a little flat for running or alot of walking. Though the flat sole and low profile toe are excellent for vintage style metal(or plastic) bicycle toe-clips. I have three pairs, one set I use to ride in the rain, and all have held up very well. I hope they keep making these for awhile, they're great.
I'd also recommend:

Cool & authentic '60's sprinter -
These shoes look great and are so light they form to your foot the moment you put them on. But they are legit to the original design and intent of the shoe: they're meant for track athletes who run up on their toes. After wearing them all day, my heels begin to hurt, as the thin sole at the back of the shoe provides minimal protection for heel-to-toe walking.

You know what they say about guys with big feet...
Great looking low-profile sneaker. Rocketed me right back to the 70's, perfectly enhancing the already retro look of my wardrobe; the brown stripes being the perfect accent to my "brown" lifestyle. And Zappos' service was flawless (these things arrived on my back doorstep as I was hitting the "pay now" button). I was so blown away by the look and speed of their delivery that I neglected to notice they were a half size to big and probably should've returned them for a pair smaller. But I threw these puppies on and boogied to the the nearest dance nite to let them work their magic on the ladies. All in all not to bad of a purchase and besides they make my feet look a little bigger, and you know what they say about guys with big feet...they have big socks!

Nice Shoes -
Overall, I was satisfied with my purchase of these shoes. The 110% pricematch guarantee was great, I got the shoes for around $57.00. In terms of looks, everything was according to the picture and people have told me how nice the shoes are. The only problem I may have is the picture makes the shoes look a bit wider than they appear. The shoes are in fact very slim and not as wide as the picture may appear. I'm happy with the shoes and especially happy with Zappos because I got my shoes earlier than expected and I got my pricematch within several hours of my email.

Sweet!
I love the shoes. If I had my way, I would make them have thicker soles to make me feel a little taller.
Thanks

I normally wear a half size bigger than regular...I did that for this pair of Asics tiger, but felt it was actually a full inch bigger. It feels a bit loose at the end and I've had to put shoe soles inside, but still feel lose. I just wear them with thick socks. But I love the look!!!

I usually wear my sneakers/rubbershoes a half-size bigger, but these ended up an inch bigger! Even with insoles added, they are still an inch bigger. Oh well, but, they look super cool and really comfy to wear.

Tigers -
The Tigers are the most comfotable shoes that I have ever bought. My only complaint is that the sole of the shoe wears out fairly quickly.

A nice looking shoe. I usually go for retro-ish sneakers, and these fit the bill perfectly. I am also usually an overpronator, but with these shoes the wear seems to be completely even. My only complaint is that after a few months the sole was so thin that it's hurting my foot on occasion. I also could go for a bit more mid-foot support.

Great Shoe -
I really like the feel and look of these shoes. I was also very pleased with the service. The shipping was free and I received the product in great time. Maybe the price was a little higher than I'd like to pay, but Zappos was the only place I could find my size in stock.

These are beautiful, well made shoes. Unfortunately they have a super high arch and can be painful.

These shoes look so great--all the different brown tones and textures. I've learned though NOT to wear them when running, walking our two 60lb dogs or doing the treadmill. Why? They are retro with no support and absolutely NO profile. I have slipped and fallen on gravel several times wearing these shoes.
Love the look tho and accept that they are 'retro' but maybe a caution that they are flat shoes with no grip or cushioning.

Beautiful shoes and they did fit my orthotics (nasty things), even the one which adds 1/4 to the L heel and that is an accomplishment. The only problem for me was, after walking all day (6-7 hours) my little toes felt sore and cramped. Perhaps if you are not planning to walk quite so ferociously or your feet are narrower.... I bought them to look more stylish for a European vacation and that did succeed. My orthotics provided the missing arch support and I ordered up one half size.

First off I received my shoes in two days which was great; however upon trying on the shoe the leather upper on toe box area rubs top of foot mid step. Ouch. Also the shoe felt a full size to large.

I don't know if it's my foot or the shoe but the right shoe felt off. I only noticed it after I walked around outside for a while. The back part would rub against my Achilles tendon region and cut it. The shoes were too dirty to return so I just cut off those tabs in the back to make some extra room and they fit better now.

Looks fantastic but I found the arch in the sole was uncomfortable. This might be something that you get used to in a day, but it kept me from buying the shoe even though I loved the style.

I've had these shoes for about a month. They're very cool and comfortable, but have one problem. The sole began to wear out immediately, and now I'm already slipping around a lot. The cost isn't an unreasonable price for shoes that you really like and that will last 6, 7 or 8 months, but these don't look like they'll make it past 4 months (and this is in the winter, with me wearing boots every other day any way). Think about whether it's worth it (for me the price is a lot.)

Great look, but wore out too quickly. Love the look of the shoe, but it simply wasn't as durable as you'd expect for the price of a canvas shoe. This is basically an indoor soccer shoe, so it doesn't hold up well when worn as a casual shoe worn in an urban environment. Most of the shoe is canvas, with some leather accents. After 10 wearings, the shoe was showing visible signs of wear, including seams that were starting to come loose. After 40 wearings (about 75 days later), the shoe is basically worn-out. The sole is worn-through to the colored part, 80% of the tread is gone, and the stitching at several of the leather "arcs" is coming out. As expected in an indoor soccer shoe, it is not particularly comfortable; basically no support whatsoever. You definitely "feel the road" beneath your feet.
I'd also recommend:

Pretty comfy, true to size shoe. My only concern is the grip. Really bad in rainy weather. There basically is no tread so don\'t wear on rainy days!

Narrow heel -
The shoes were really light weight and comfortable overall. However, I was having trouble with the heel sole being too narrow with no side support material were the sole and uppers meet. When I would walk around corners, I felt my heel pushing out over the edge of the sole, like I was stepping on a 1/2 inch ledge. I ended up returning them as that would have been a big problem. I am 6'2" and weight around 240, so I don't know if that made this issue more noticeable for me than others might notice.

More about the looks than performance, the Onitsuka Mexico 66 is a sleek stitch of leather with little more than a bit of rubber tucked underneath. Despite its Olympic history, it's hardly perfect for long-distance running or all-day hikes (outdoors or otherwise), but it'll do just fine for casual wear.
