I got this shoe in white, with the Asics logo in navy/gray. The shoe is very stylish and pairs well with dark/light jeans. Despite being of Japanese manufacture, it has a decidedly European feel. The suede does require some attention to keep clean.

Just got these shoes only after few days of ordering through Zappos with Bill Me Later by Paypl! They came super fast and this is my first pair of Onitsuka's and I have to say that they are awesome! Very comfortable and super lightweight. They are pretty low on the ankle so I suggest wearing no ankle socks with shorts. The shoe fits my foot like a glove and think I will only order these for my casual sneaker needs from now on. Very happy!

I like the feel of "barefoot" minimalist running shoes, but needed something stiffer for riding my bike to work. With my Merrell Barefoots, the soles were so flexible that the pedal edges dug painfully into my feet. The Mexico 66 shoes are a decent compromise. They're still relatively thin and lightweight, but the soles are stiff enough to ride my bike comfortably. They took a week or two to break in. Only real issue I had was the excess arch support in the form of a foam wedge glued underneath the insole. They were much more comfortable after ripping the foam out.

Since 2001, I have owned five pairs of Onitsuka Tigers (all different colors, of course). It is a sharp-looking shoe with a classic silhouette. Regarding the fit, the leather breaks in well, and conforms to the foot. There is very little arch support--something that I like in a casual shoe. The materials and workmanship are excellent. Over time, the soles will wear through, and then it's time to buy another pair.

Love Tigers, love Zappos! Knew my size for Tigers before I ordered so that was never going to be an issue.

I'm a skinny guy with large feet which is probably the main reason I continue to buy these shoes. Namely, they don't look ridiculously big when I wear shorts. I believe this is because there's not much in the way of padding, which could be a good thing or bad, depending on your tastes. I think they run a little large, size-wise. I typically wear size 12.5 to 13 but in these I wear size 12. While I really like these shoes, they're not without their flaws. I currently own 4 pairs of these -- which is both indicative of the fact that I like them and that they're not perfect. I wish the rubber on the soles were more durable. The gripping on bottom wears out pretty fast if you use these often. Not a big deal in summer weather, but don't try walking on snow or ice once this happens. Also, the price is a bit steep, but I'll continue to pay it.

Comfortable, lightweight, everyday sneaker. Very true to size in width and length. There is not much support, so I have inserted my own insole after removing the flatter original insole.

Amazing shoes. Had the white version few years ago and couldn't resist to get a black pair. Very comfortable, modern, high class. People notice them right away.

This shoe is undeniable! It's actually the second time I purchased this shoe in the last year because I wore my other pair out. Quality leather makes for a durable shoe. Only issue is that I burned through the soles from wearing them so much. I would highly recommend this shoe!

I have always wanted these shoes and I got lucky and got them on sale here at Zappos. They are more of the "race car" inspired design and they look even better in person than on the website. Very comfortable and fit true to size perfectly. These shoes are not meant for running or endless walking so arch support is low. I only wear them when I want to showcase my look for the day. I also like how they came with a pair of red and black laces so that was a nice unexpected surprise.

Very comfortable and stylish. The retro look gives it an edge over other brands. Been looking for the return of Tiger since I used them for track and soccer when I was in college sports! Thanks Zappos.

The shoes were great except the bottom was a little narrow. Being a fat woman, my foot slid off to the side because the "base" wasn't wide enough for my foot and that is not a good look for me.

I do not know my materials very well, but I loved how it looked. When I saw this shoe, I said, "I have to get it." After I ordered it, I realized it had little lines like corduroy pants, but in black. As I walked in them I did not like them. I was honestly disappointed. I thought they would be all suede black. I thought the shoe would have no line design. I was expecting solid black. However, I kept them because I loved the blue with black. As long as nobody looks at them too close they will not notice the corduroy lines, lol. And, I also kept them because I needed some black shoes and waiting again for shoes to come was not going to happen.

This is my second pair. I bought a pair in 2008 and since then have put a lot of mileage on them. The only reason I retired them for a new pair four years later was that my feet got one size larger. Great shoes through and through.

A few years ago I wore out a pair of ulimate 81's (back when they had a black with red stripes color scheme) because I wore them every day in all types of weather and work for about a year. It seems the quality control isn't what it was for this type of shoe, so I'm returning them. This time I found the arch support was a full 3/4" toward the rear in the left shoe compared to the right, resulting in a weird 'bump' feeling. At first I thought it might just be my feet but I actually can visually see and measure the difference from the heel cup. I have long toes so this is normally never a problem; if anything the ball of my foot hits the arch support and not the nearly the heel as in this case. Then the rubber toe guard outsole on the right shoe was applied all wanky so it was asymmetric and obviously different from the left toe. Overall I'm not impressed and I think there's a good reason why we don't see these shoes in regular stores anymore.

I bought this pair while a junior in high school (five years ago!) and they are still going strong (they've gone from an everyday pair of shoe to an occasional shoe though). THey are well made and comfortable and have yet to go out of style. I love them!

I'm not trying to knock the photographers at zappos, but it looks much better in person than it does in photos. It has a very premium look to it that makes it look more expensive than it is. The sole is thin, flexible and comfortable. As others have said, they slip a lot on wet surfaces. These shoes can be dressed up with designer jeans and blazer for a night out. They can also do well as a minimalist running shoe. The flap on the heel makes it easy to slip on without untying the laces. It's great if you take your shoes off at home. The flap tends to stay up when wearing them. I recommend shaping it by clipping it down overnight. It's a great shoe!

These seem to be a slightly different make to previous Mexico 66's. Slightly thicker sole, feels more bouncy. Anyway, I like it.

I love this shoe! This is my first review at Zappos and my first Onitsuka Tiger! At first I was curious on how this looks like and how it can be comfy on my feet. I ordered 6.5 and it's a little bit small. Without socks it's perfect. But wearing a sock (not thick) doesn't fit anymore. It looks very cool! This is my new love sneaker brand! I need to exchange the size 6.5 to 7. The Live Chat Support is very helpful and fast! Dionne upgraded my account to VIP as a thank you for shopping at Zappos. How nice! These are my absolute favorite shoe ever. I love them and will always have a pair in my closet. My brother loved mine so much that he bought the same exact style and color. Not too many people wear them, which is another bonus. I am trying to get my daughter on to them, hopefully soon!! Please NEVER get rid of this shoe. Xoxo.

These are old school. I bought these as my first pair of sneakers with my first pay check in 1979. I just got another new pair. This would be pair number 15. It is nice to know that they are still amazing to wear.

I bought these as a stylish sneaker for evenings out in the city. They fit well and have decent arch support. I have walked miles in them and they have held up well, too. Oh, and they look great with a pair of dark jeans.

Very stylish shoe with great color options. They re-model ninja shoes and here it is "onitsuka tiger" i strongly recommend who wants to wear a decent shoe which fits with jeans, shorts. Good choice!
