I was very happy to find this boot. It's almost impossible to find leather in children's sizes. Even though I'm an adult, I find that children's boots have a better fit for my foot. I work 10 hour days on cement floors & these boots have been comfortable from day one! The free shipping gave me the freedom to try them on without obligation...thank you Zappos!

Bought these boots for my son's boy scout camping/hiking trips. The seam where the tongue attached to the boot was very uncomfortable for him (quite a large, protruding seam right across the top of his foot). Also, the tongues seemed to be sewed on at an angle, and slid around to the outside side of the boot after lacing. Note that the tongues are not attached at sides, so not sure how waterproof these would be. We exchanged for some Keen boots which worked great and were much higher quality product. My son has wide feet and the the medium width Keens were perfect.

I love my boots! I purchased the black ones, and they are so stylish! These boots do fit big. I am a women's size 9. I normally wear a kid's 7, but I ordered a size 6 and they fit perfect!

They are perfect for hiking, or wearing to school in sloppy New England weather. Better than having your kid wear sneakers to school and lug a heavy pair of winter boots.

This product is good to wear but the color comes off a LOT. My socks literally turns black after wearing this particular shoe. However for the men's shoe I didn't notice any color that wears off. Only the kids shoe is like this. With just a wipe on the outside my paper towel turns black. Will be great to return it but didn't wear it until after my 30day limit, trusted timberland too much

I ordered these work boots before my son went away to camp (Maine in March) I was not sure if he would wear them, he is a sneaker kid. He loved them as they are very comfortable and warm! They are worth the money! I bought them a little big, hoping to squeeze another winter out of them!

A great Timberland boot, that meets all your expectations for the Timberland standard. And extra free one-day delivery! Thanks! Now, as a European, I trusted the shoe size chart: Youth US6= EUR.38; but the product shows US6=EUR.39, so a full size larger. I don't mind it, just put on another layer of socks, and overall the first set of lace-holes is low enough on the foot to keep it in place and prevent it from sliding back & forth. A smaller size (that would better fit in the length) might result in being too tight at that very spot.

I used Zappos.com for the first time just before Christmas. I was able to order exactly what my sons wanted (which I could not find locally) and the price was comparable to local stores, which is important to me. I needed to return one pair of boots TWO times before I had the right fit for one of my boys. It fits!
I am a woman with small, very wide feet and I've often had to buy boys' shoes. I needed boots and these fit the bill. They had them in wide width so I even have room for two pairs of socks. I had hoped for more padding but I'm not complaining.

I just received these for my nine yr. old, they are a good fit and top quality. They bridge the gap for her between tennis shoes and snow boots. Have not tested the "waterproof" factor but they look sealed and up to the task. Super fast service as usual, why shop anywhere else as long as you know your size.

No hassle shopping for name-brand products -
I could easily locate just the Timerland products I wanted. The prices were comparable to in-store prices -- and I was able to take advantage of a "no shipping charges" special. Zappos upgraded the shipping to 2 days at no charge to me. I am a first time Zappos shopper and I will use the site again.

Great strong shoe, bought them a little bit too big, bought some fur inlays for the cold weather here and a good pair of socks and they are just fine. The sizes do differ from the size chart, I even checked with Timberland and when the box came in, the EU size was again different.

This boot is great for snow and hiking. The seam around the black leather at the top hurts but that is the only bad thing. It has great traction though. GREAT SHOE!

The uppers are soft and easy to break in but the lugged soles are extremely poor quality. They chipped away after my son took a 2 mile hike with his brand new boots. I would not buy these boots again!

I ordered these amazing, beautiful, comfortable Pink Boots (did I mention the color is gorgeous) from Timberland JUNIOR. Why Timberland Junior? Because the boots were not offered for Timberland Women.
I wear size 7.5 as my regular Women shoe size. I ordered a 5.5 Junior. To purchase Timberland Junior boots order down two sizes from your regular Women shoe size.
Timberland Junior Boots do fit somewhat different than Timbeland Women. The Junior boots run a bit wider. The toe bed on the Junior boots seems wider (which for some women may be a major plus.)
I have found with Timberland Boots you need to break them in. For me I wore them with a thinner sock for a few hours around the house. The next day I wore thicker socks for about two hours. The fit of boots are now perfectly molded to my feet. The magic of Timberland Boots.
